Story
A 55lb birch-colored ball of energy, Arties silliness is one of his many lovable traits! Although it takes a minute to warm up to new people, once he does, he loves to cuddle and show off his zoomies. With a little guidance, Artie loves to take walks and enjoys being outside. He is currently up to date with shots, neutered and is being taught basic commands. He may possibly be dog selective, but we are currently testing for that. He has not been tested with kids or cats. Artie would add so much love and fun to any home he would become a part of. Please consider giving this good boy a chance to show his loyalty and make you smile. Story
This is Sprout! Sprout was attacked by her mom as a puppy. She was surrounded by wonderful people that nursed her back health. She will always look a little different and can only see from one eye - but she otherwise perfect!Sprout is loving, playful and very smart. She is house trained and knows all her basic commands. She loves toys and does not destroy them. Sprout has become quite the social butterfly . She loves all of the attention she gets at Rico events and interacting with all of the other dogs. Her foster brothers and sisters have become her very best friends. She loves to play and then rest in her fenced in yard. Sprout is the best fetcher ever! She can play a little rough but does not have a mean bone in her body. Sprout has exhibited some resource guarding with food, toys and treats with other dogs, but not with people. Sprout loves to be with her humans, but crates nicely also. She loves to flip her toys in the air to entertain herself and never destroys them.Sprout loves to run in the yard, and go for walks. She is a strong girl and needs a harness.Sprout is looking for a home with an active family that loves the outdoors, and a nice fenced yard for her to play in. She would do best in a home with older kids (she sometimes runs into things and could knock a small child over) and with no cats (she will chase them). You can apply to meet her at ricopetrecovery.orgSprout is fully vetted and her adoption fee is $250

Story
Penny has really settled in.Her playful side is showing more and more especially since introducing her to foster brother, Max. He was a bit reserved at firsthe lets her know when its enough and she responds well. Ultimately theyve claimed a couch as their own, napping on opposite ends together. She also has embraced a little more independence. Her foster mom can actually go into another room without her worrying or crying. This doesnt mean she still isnt the biggest cuddle bug!! Whats personal space?!?!Her coat is becoming softer and the bare spots continue to fill in. Her tail is slowly healing and hasnt bleed in more than a week!We continue to work on her training and shes responding positively. She really is a sweet girlYou can apply to meet Penelope at ricopetrecovery.orgAdoption fee is $250
