Story
ABOUT ME… Hi!! My name is Chloe, I was surrendered by my owner after they were no longer able to take care of me. But that has not stopped me from accepting love from anyone that offers. I am so sweet, so cuddly, and ALL puppy. I am a little over a year old but am really coming into my personality and settling down. I live with my sweet 10 year old human foster sister (also named Chloe, that has been fun), and my 3 year old human foster brother who has been a great match for me energy-wise! I love naps, a peanut butter kong, and prancing around the backyard. I AM GREAT WITH… All people, I have yet to meet a stranger! All dogs! We haven’t interacted with any cats so I am not sure what I’d think. The squirrels in the backyard keep me jumping and I lay and watch the birds all day. I am GREAT on a leash. I sit, stay, “drop it.” I AM STILL WORKING ON... Kennel training! My foster mom thinks I have some separation anxiety so I do best around people. Potty training - my foster moms says I am 80% there. We’ve had lots of luck with a bell on the backdoor (and a goof schedule). I am also still learning which toys are mine and which are the kids. I definitely like options (equal part bone/soft toy). I AM NOT GOOD WITH… I VERY much match energy and sometimes that makes me a little jumpy! I am so excited to meet new people so sometimes my mom leashes me because I jump. I also have to be separated while my foster family is eating. It is partially the toddlers fault because he doesn’t seem to care if I eat his food but mom says I beg! ___ VETTING... ~All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. ~If booster shots have not been completed prior to adoption, they may be completed at our clinic in Columbus, OH at no additional expense. Alternatively, the adopter can use their own vet to boost vaccinations, at their own expense. TERMS & CONDITIONS... ~Adopters must reside in the State of Ohio. ~No transportation assistance is provided; adopter must commute for meet & greet. ~Meet & greets are not scheduled until there is an approved adoption application on file. ~The expectation is that you will bring your new pet home from the meet & greet, if all goes well. Please be prepared to do so by bringing a collar, leash, harness, crate, etc. to secure your new pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Neo! Neo is a great little guy that was at euthanasia risk because his family could not afford treatment for a Parvo diagnosis, so DASH stepped in to save him. He has made it through the worst of it & absolutely loves his life!! He is doing well in his foster home, recuperating but still needs to regain a little weight. He may weigh-in heavy but is very thin. He is learning his puppy manners & basic commands like sit, no, what's in your mouth, nibbles aren't kisses & don't bark at the kitty! He does well on a leash, allows nail trimmings freely, does well for "down time" in his crate after a few minutes of protest. He wants to be out with his people & play with the other dogs. He sleeps in the bedroom crate all night & barks or whines to potty EARLY in the morning. Neo was called "Carter" in his past life, but to give him a new beginning, he is now Neo. He is quickly picking up on his new name. He will answer to his name, come from the yard when called (most times), he doesn't potty in his crate, is catching on to house training by heading for the door when let out of his crate, & starting to scratch at the door to alert us when loose in the house. He always needs an escort off the porch because doesn't want to let us out of his sight. He loves his toys & other dogs, bows & barks to get the the kitties to play too. He is a very intelligent little boy who is catching on quickly to training, he'll be a pretty big guy before we know it. He is a huge love bug, loyal to a fault. So if you "like big mutts and you cannot lie" He's the perfect housemate for you!!! He is waiting for his own family to grow up with & fill his heart forever. Story
Babygirl has been my emotional support animal since I got her 12 years ago. Unfortunately my subsidiary housing management wont accept the paperwork necessary to keep her so they are threatening eviction if I dont get rid of her. It breaks my heart to have to let her go, but I have to choose between her or homelessness. She’s a really good, quiet, chill girl. She is 12 ( Senior) so sometimes she has accidents she is unable to control. She cannot jump on beds or anything like she used to so she mostly just lays in her soft little plush bed. She likes kibbles n bits mini bits and she will play with toys sometimes. She loves slim Jim’s as a snack. She loves people. She may not have very much time left on her hands but I would love for her to have a loving family or shelter to carry her through to the end.

Story
I am an Air Force Vet and first time dog owner, I found Duke at a local dog shelter. He was around 1 year old when I adopted him about a year ago. Duke is a veryyy friendly dog absolutely loves people and loves to cuddle he will lay down with you all day on the couch and not move if you let him. The reason I am looking to rehome is because I am a single guy and my schedule is really busy as a full time student and soccer coach and that means I have to leave Duke in a crate for the majority of the day and even when I am home I cant spend much time with him because of my school work. I feel Duke would do very well in a house with multiple people to give him attention and able to take him out to run around a be a young dog. Duke is very well trained he knows sit, down, crate, heel/tight, free, he is even trained on E-collar and will recall with the tone sound. Please feel free to ask any questions about him!

Story
Carl is a mix of pit bull, blue heeler, and boxer (one parent was full pit bull and one parent was 50/50 boxer/blue heeler). We got Carl from a family in the area when he was around 3 months old. He just turned 5. He is a very sweet boy, but can be reactive to seeing people or people with other dogs. He has a loud bark, but he has never bitten anyone or any other dog. He has experience with medium and small dogs (small being a 6 pound dog) and has played well with them. He has been around infants and early toddler aged kids and has seemed to do well with them (does like to lick in the face). He is crate trained but not house trained well. He is harness trained (best with a front lead harness). We did just take him to a 10 day training to focus on his reactiveness. He is doing better and we continue to work with him with an e collar and prong collar. He is a very sweet and silly boy that we are hoping finds a family that has more space to give him and more time to keep up with training
