Story
Hi, I'm Koda. I'm a beautiful girl ready for a beautiful home where I can be the star dog, and the only dog. I don't like to share my toys or food with other pups, so a home where I don't have to worry about my stuff being stolen is ideal. I'd also like a home where all kids are over 5 years or older, because I can be a bit mouthy when I get too excited! A home where everyone is ready to be on the same page of training is the home for me, as I am a bit hard of hearing and need consistent signals. Are you ready to open up your home to a beautiful girl like me? Please stop by the shelter! ---Our facility is open daily from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, meet and greet appointments are highly recommended. If you are interested in meeting an animal please contact us via email at Lancaster@pspca.org to learn more about our adoption process and to set a meet and greet appointment.

Story
My husband and I adopted Penny in Feburary 2019 when she was about 6 months old. she was found roaming the streets in San Antonio TX. I adopted her through Gods Dogs Rescue and she was transported to Lancaster Pennsylvania. She is our third large breed in our house. We adopted her after finding out we were not able to have children. welp we had a child. Life has gotten too busy to show Penny the love and attention she needs and desires. While Penny does live with other dogs currently (2 male, neutered, large breed) we would love her to go to a home with no other dogs as she has fought with our mastiff on a few occasions. she has the energy of a young dog on redbull, her energy is endless, any adopters must be highly active, she plays fetch for hours, she counter surfs the kitchen, she snuggles so hard, and she loves to be loved. shes an attention whore. if you want a dog to be obsessed with you as much as you are with her shes perfect. she also doesnt show our child attention good/bad

Story
We aquired this dog from my sister in law who couldnt take care of him at the moment and we've loved him and cared for him since but we also have 3 other dogs and its too much now. Hes crate trained (for night time because he still chews) hes a cuddler and all around big baby. He loves running in the yard with our 3 and 4 year olds. He just turned 2 on June 1st 2023. He would do best at a home with another large dog to play with and a big yard to run!

Story
Nala is a stunning 7 year old petite pittie mix. Even though she's getting older she is full of energy ! A family that can be very active with her and take her out on walks/hikes/runs as well as someone who has a fenced in yard would give her the opportunity to fully flourish. She is defenitly a people dog and loves to be with her human/ humans. She'll even love to go on car rides with her new family. She is an extreme attention hog and would be best suited for a home where she could receive all the attention and not have to share,as she can also be pretty selective with other animals. She currently resides in a home with 2 small children and does well with them, however she does get super excited at times and forgets that she needs to be careful around them so she doesn't knock them over. She is leash trained and needs to be crated when home alone but doesn't love to be in her crate for long periods of time. She is currently taking something to help her deal with her separation anxiety and her new home would need to be ok with administering her 1 pill a day. A family that can be home with her quite often would be a good fit for her. If you're looking for a lifetime companion that will stay by your side, then Nala might be the one for you !

Story
I got him when he was 6 weeks old his birthday is 5/5/18 he’s friendly. Loves attention loves to nibble on a pillow to fall asleep. Has been around cats, bearded dragon and other dogs. Looking for a home where he can be active he loves car rides and being out doors. He’s afraid of balloons and the vacuum. Overall he’s a good boy.
