Story
We adopted Gidget at 8 weeks old from a local family who had a litter of puppies. She will be 7 in August 2024. Gidget is a total lapdog despite her size and loves love. She is affectionate and constantly wants to be around you. Unfortunately, we are a busy family and are not able to be with her as often as she needs. Gidget will do well in a home with someone who is home most of the time. She gets along with our cat and the children. She also gets along with our other dog but is questionable around other dogs.

Story
Chevy is a soon to be 3 year old Pitbull. He was adopted out of a bad situation involving a dog breeder who kept the pups away from their mom from birth. Because we wanted to get him out of that situation, he was adopted early at 6 weeks old. There are multiple reasons why we are rehoming. We recently had a baby, and he does not understand his size or personal space. He also has issues with separation anxiety, so the idea of something else taking up mom’s time and energy is rough for him to understand. His hyperness has caused him to be aggressive in his own way, because he thinks everyone is trying to play with him 24/7. We don’t think he is intentionally trying to be aggressive, we believe he just doesn’t understand, but we do not want to risk anything with the baby. We don’t feel like it’s fair to keep him separated from the rest of the house/family, so we want him to go to a good home that can accommodate his needs.

Story
Luna is very lovable and spoiled. She likes to be covered up at night time when I it’s bed time. I got her at 7 months old, she is now 4 years old. We recently moved and do not have a fenced in yard so she can’t run freely like she is used to.

Story
Khan is a very handsome young pit bull looking for an active/structured house. Having been abandoned at the shelter, we don't know any specifics about his background. We do know that he LOVES humans and craves attention! Khan is extremely energetic and very strong. When we first met him he had absolutely no manners. He can get overstimulated and will jump or nip to get your attention. He has completed Intro-to-Training class twice and walks with a Gentle Leader and a chest harness. He will benefit greatly from continued consistency with his training and commands. He is very smart, and he shows that he can absolutely be a Good Dog with consistent handling (and the right yummy incentives). After more than a year here at the shelter, he is much calmer and better able to process his surroundings. His loves are car rides, walks, swimming, and PEOPLE! At 65-70 lbs his strength can be a challenge. His jump has a 5-6 foot clearance from standing! Khan has not shown any signs of aggression toward other dogs but he does forget his manners in an effort to play with them. We have not specifically cat-tested Khan, but he has been in our lobby where he can see cats and he is very interested in them. We suspect that he would chase anything smaller than himself.

Story
Hi, my name is Lincoln, aka Linky. I am a 4.5yr old pitbull mix. I am a super chill dog. Most times you can find me curled up on a couch chewing on a bone and getting pets. I love to go run outside and play with my two young human sisters. I have a lot of energy so a home with a fenced in yard is best for me. I just need somewhere to run around and play. I have another puppy brother and I never had problems with him. Tucker and I have grown up together but can be seperated if needed. I have never been around the kitty kind so I am not sure about them. I am not to date on my shots but mom is going to take care of that before I am rehomed. My humans are going through a divorce and can’t take me with them. My mom has to move back in with her parents and I cant come with so she is looking for a good home for both me and my puppy brother. If you have any questions, reach out and my mom will do the best she can to answer!

Story
Hi my name is Tucker AKA tuck tuck. I am a 5yr old pitbull/chocolate lab mix. I am the biggest baby you will ever meet! I have a loud scary bark but I wouldnt hurt a fly! I love to cuddle and snuggle up with you on the couch. I love to lay on laps and get all the pets and attention. I tend to think I am a lapdog sometimes! I love to go run outside and play with my two young human sisters. I have a lot of energy so a home with a fenced in yard is best for me. I just need somewhere to run around and play.
