Story
Hi, everypawdy! My name is Grace. I'm a beautiful, loving soul who is looking for a family to call my own. Walks, runs, and hikes are a few of my favorite hobbies. Attention and being pet are necessities as well, of course! A good cuddle at the end of a long day will fill me with joy. My foster family says I'm smart as a whip...I already know how to sit, heel, halt, and more! A good treat and some cuddles are enough to motivate to learn like a pro. I love being near my favorite humans, and playing with my favorite toys. If you want a reason to smile every single day, then I am the pup for your family. If you are interested in adopting Grace, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: Los Angeles Area

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Clover was found on the side of the road with her 7 babies last March. We think she is between 2 and 3. After being treated for heartworms she still has that puppy energy! She loves a good toy, can sit, stay and is fully potty, house and crate trained! Clover has lots of energy so im not sure how good she would be with younger children shes still working on her boundaries but older children I think she would be fine we just have not had her around any! Clover loves other dogs and puppies! She warms up to cats with time she was just around one for our first time! Clover loves lots of cuddles and loves to run in a big yard she is very very sweet! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.   LOOKING FOR MY SOULMATE &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Hello, my name is Casper.I am a young (almost 2), energetic, physically fit white girl with light blue eyes and weigh 50 lbs. I love long walks, belly rubs and french kissing.I'm smart, too and learning alot about being a good girl.Oh, and I love food! I am an escape artist too... I've been known to chew through wire fences when there are gunshots or fireworks... Which I see as a talent, but my foster dad says it's a pain in the butt. So, I just need a special situation. I am spayed and have all my shots. I am interested in a serious, lifelong committed relationship. I am very loyal. I'm living with a foster family at the moment, but they have a little dog and cat that I don't get along with at all. I really like their dog Charlie ALOT, but it's the little dogs that really annoy me. My foster dad's situation has changed, and I just can't stay here much longer. I've been here for several months, and he only thought it'd be a couple of weeks. I can get really jealous too. I just didn't have a good childhood on the streets, so I need someone who really understands this and will accept me as an ONLY child. Maybe if you have a lot of dog training experience, my transition into your home will be smooth... I know I'll miss my foster dad ALOT and will be pouty for a few weeks... But I hear it's that way often with all rescue dogs in my situation. Earlier this year, a gang I was hanging out with got in trouble with the law, and a nice lady gave me a ride to her house because the cops said they were going to euthanize me (I'd love to live with her, but the circumstances won't allow it either.) I can't go to a shelter. I just can't. People judge me by the way I look, and the outcome is never good for a girl like me. Would you like to hang out sometime soon? Maybe forever? 🌟Samantha Meet the adorable Princess Pittie Samantha (Sam) 👑 This sweet girl is really something special. She was left in the woods to fend for herself as a baby puppy. When her rescuer found her she was so weak she could barely stand 😢 but even in her very sad condition, she was the most loving, precious girl ever. Sam has left that sad life behind her and is thriving in her foster home. ❤️ She is a happy, healthy girl who loves everyone she meets. Sam is like a wind up puppy toy , she is full speed play, play, play then she winds down for nap time and dreams of the next playtime and it’s on again 🎾 She is also a champion snuggle bug and gives the sweetest hugs. She loves toys and thinks fetch is the greatest thing ever besides chasing the big dogs around the yard 🐕 Sam is crate and house trained. She is a smart girl and picks up on new things quickly. Sam loves all the other dogs in her foster home and especially plays great with the big dogs so a big brother or sister pup is definitely on her new home list. She would be an amazing playmate for older children too but is a little too rambunctious for small dogs or very young children. 🐾 If Sam sounds perfect for your family then please fill out the adoption application. Sam can’t wait to meet her forever family and start a lifetime of new adventures 🫶

Story
🐾NORA🖤 Nora is a 4 month old pit bull/Bernese mountain dog mix. That is ready to find her forever family! She is great with kids and other dogs. She is good with cats but still needs to be monitored because she wants to play! 🐾 Nora is very much a “people dog” and loves to be with her humans. She is crate trained and almost completely house trained. 🐶 This pretty girl would do great in a family that has children for her to play with, and would be ok as an only dog or with furry companions. Nora is a 10/10 good girl and ready to meet you! Story
🎀 PHEE🐾 Phee is a female, 9 month old pittie/lab mix!🐶 Phee is very alert and takes notice of what is going on in a new situation. Her foster mom’s favorite thing she does is steal her big dog’s ball after he drops it at my feet to throw. He drops it and she will run up and grab it and run off with the ball. All the while wiggling her butt back and forth. 😆 She loves dogs & loves going to doggy day care. She has now learned to sit and is potty trained in her crate at night! She is still working on her dog walking skills and her nervousness with new people, but she has come a long way!She will need someone that is patient and eases her into her new home, and then she will have lots of love to give🖤 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. 🐾CHANCHO AKA CHANCHITO🐶 Chanchito is a 5 month old pittie/bulldog mix that was pulled from a local shelter on death row. He gets his name bc he looks like Chancho from Nacho Libre😂 This goofy boy stalks his brother like a cat chasing a bird and pounces on him! He loves his brother, Dashy, the most but loves to be with his Momma too though!🫶🏼 Chanchito’s foster mom says she trips over him constantly because he likes to wedge himself between her and whatever I’m standing beside. He’s a companion dog all the way! He is good with small children and older children & is good with big dogs and cats 🐱 This cutie can be shy at first but he loves his food and TREATS and is easily won over!
