Story
Meet sweet Annie, who has been returned to PK after being adopted two times (!!!), each time by no fault of her own. She really deserves to find a permanent home to live out her senior years. Annie is 9-year-old pitbull mix. She weighs 50 lbs. Annie is very friendly and easy-going with her human companions. While she is a little older, she is still quite active and enjoys walks and playtime, followed of course by some good snoozes. We believe Annie would be fine living in a home with children, but she must be an only pet. She currently has skin issues due to allergies and is on medicine for treatment, including Apoquel. Annie will need an owner who prioritizes ongoing treatment for her skin issues. If you are looking for a laid-back companion, apply for this sweet gal at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
Meet Ms. Muppet. This 2-year-old blue nose American Pit Bull Terrier weighs about 46 pounds and came to us from another shelter after being found abandoned, tied to a front porch. Despite her difficult past, her spirit is as bright as ever. Ms. Muppet is friendly, engaged, and very affectionate. She’s also a high-energy athlete who loves to play—this girl can jump impressively high when going after a toy. She walks nicely on leash, already knows how to sit, and will happily offer her paw for a treat. She’s eager to learn and would thrive with a family who will continue her training and keep her active. She does well around other dogs, can be cat tested if needed, and would likely enjoy a home with kids. Because of her bouncy, wiggly play style, she may be best suited for families without super young children who won’t be easily knocked over. Ms. Muppet is a total catch—full of life, love, and potential, just waiting for the right family to scoop her up. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
Lola is a 3-year-old, 44-pound “lowrider” with a one-of-a-kind look—likely a Pit Bull/Basset Hound mix—and an even more lovable personality to match. This adorable girl came to us as an owner surrender and has already proven herself to be a wonderful companion in a home setting. She’s well-behaved and was trusted to free roam, which speaks to her good manners. Lola is potty-trained and enjoys the simple joys of life—walks, toys, and treats. She especially loves bringing her favorite toy along on walks, which is as charming as it sounds. Lola is a social butterfly who thrives around others. She loves the dog park and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She has also lived successfully with cats and children, including young kids, making her a great candidate for a variety of home environments. Above all, Lola is incredibly affectionate. She’s snuggly, friendly, and always happy to be near her people. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, she’s all in. Lola is currently dealing with allergies and may require ongoing medication to keep her feeling her best. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a fun personality and lots of heart, Lola might just be your perfect match. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
Its momma Viva’s time to find the forever home she has always deserved. At approximately 6 years old, this beautiful brindle girl has clearly spent her life being used for breeding — but those days are officially behind her. Now it’s Viva’s turn to be spoiled, loved, and treated like family. Viva will be spayed in a week and is already up to date on vaccines, 4DX negative, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives. This sweet girl absolutely adores people of all sizes and will do just about anything for a snack. After arriving to us severely emaciated, we can’t really blame her for occasionally trying to counter surf for food. She’s learning that meals will always come consistently now. Viva is: • Good with other dogs • Loves cats • Obsessed with playing ball — whether it’s with her people or entertaining herself • A professional couch potato She is still working on crate training and would benefit from some continued basic training, but overall she is a loving, easygoing girl who just wants comfort, kindness, and snacks. After spending years giving everything to everyone else, it’s finally Viva’s turn to be someone’s baby. Visit our website to apply: www.outcastrescue.com PA Kennel License 16187 June 7, 2026, 1:43 pm

Story
Reintroducing Irene Irene came to us from ACCT Philly with what we originally thought was just excessive skin flaking. After months of treatments that weren’t helping and a visit to the Dermatologist, we finally have answers. Irene has been diagnosed with non-epidermolytic ichthyosis. So what does that mean for Irene? Non-epidermolytic ichthyosis is a genetic, incurable skin condition that causes dry, flaky, “fish-like” scaling on the skin and coat. While there is no cure, it is manageable with consistent care. Irene will need regular topical treatments including moisturizing shampoos, emollients, and essential fatty acid supplements to help maintain her skin barrier and keep her comfortable. What this means for a future family is simple — sometimes Irene will have flare ups that cause large flakes of skin. She needs a home that understands her condition and is willing to help manage it so she can continue thriving. And Irene is SO worth it. She currently lives with both small and large dogs as well as cats. Irene does best with slow introductions and a proper shutdown period because her excitement can sometimes be misunderstood. Once she settles in, her personality shines through. She would thrive with an active family committed to continuing her training and helping her work on her manners. We would absolutely love to see Irene in a local foster-to-adopt home while she adjusts and settles into her new life. Please share Irene — it’s finally her time to shine ✨ Visit www.outcastrescue.com  to apply PA Kennel License #16187   June 7, 2026, 1:43 pm

Story
Meet Picasso — the reformed “bull in a china shop” turned certified beefcake. Picasso came to us from ACCT Philly several months ago weighing a heartbreaking 110 pounds with absolutely zero manners. At the time, this 7-year-old pitbull terrier mix was the definition of chaos wrapped in love. Since then, he has worked incredibly hard and officially reached his goal weight of 80 pounds — and honestly… he looks GOOD. This handsome guy is neutered, microchipped, 4DX negative, up to date on vaccines including Lepto, and on monthly preventatives. He is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and recently completed a 3-week board and train with Gypsy 9 to help set him up for success in his forever home. Picasso is a dog who absolutely adores his people. He is affectionate, clingy, and fully believes he is a 10-pound lap dog despite being built like a linebacker. Belly rubs, naps across your lap, and soaking up attention are his specialties. He also loves moose antlers and treat puzzles — especially anything durable because this boy is an aggressive chewer. Now for Picasso’s perfect match: • He must be the only pet in the home. While he initially had a good dog meet at the shelter, repeated attempts at introductions and training showed that Picasso truly prefers to fly solo. • He has a sun sensitivity caused by years of sun exposure and his lack of pigmentation. He will need sunscreen and a sun shirt for outdoor adventures to prevent painful skin flare-ups. • He is not a fan of squeaky toys or high-pitched sounds like smoke detectors or bike horns. What Picasso offers in return is endless affection and unwavering loyalty. He deserves a home that wants HIM and only HIM — and trust us, he is more than enough dog to fill your heart. Story
Fray is a 4 year old pit bull terrier mixed. She was born in our rescue and was recently surrendered after being found as a stray. She was pretty nervous coming back and has been gaining some much needed confidence. She has done really well with the older resident dog that is her size and she did live in her previous home with another dog as well. She gets pretty excited when meeting new dogs so slow introductions are the key to success for her. Inside she is content hanging out in her crate or looking out the window checking out what is happening. She is very people friendly and loves children. She has made great strides with some basic training since she has come back to us. She is a chaser and will chase after rabbits, squirrels and even the occasional frog. She loves to give and get affection but doesn't need to be like velcro. She is a light eater, takes treats gently. She is very athletic! She is learning to catch a frisbee too! She loves to play but can be rough so if there is another playful dog they should be OK with wrestling. Fray is eager to learn and motivated with treats. This wonderful would love an active family.  You must be over 21 and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA. Story
Welcome Sewanee to PK! This 6-year-old Boxer weighs about 82 pounds and came to us from another rescue. Sewanee is a very friendly, well-mannered guy who seems ready to settle right into family life. He walks nicely on leash, knows his basic commands, and keeps his kennel clean, showing that he’s already got a great foundation of good manners. Sewanee is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested if needed, and would likely do very well in a home with kids. With his gentle personality and easygoing nature, he seems like the kind of dog who would make an excellent family companion. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
