Meet Riddick — a 5-year-old Pitbull Terrier with the build of a superhero (83 lbs. of muscle with some extra padding) and the heart of a loyal buddy. Sadly, he’s experienced his very own Chronicles of Riddick. He was surrendered to us as an 8-month-old puppy, was adopted into a home for over four years, but is now back through no fault of his own. Don’t be fooled by his serious look in the kennel — once he’s out, Riddick is a friendly, affectionate goofball who just wants love and attention. He’s potty trained, trustworthy when left alone, and purportedly good with other dogs, cats, and kids. Like any strong leading man, he has a lot to say and he could use a bit of leash work (and definitely a diet), so he’ll need an equally strong sidekick to man the leash. Riddick is high-energy, loyal, and ready to start his next chapter with a family who will never close the book on him again. Annie is 9-year-old pitbull mix. She weighs 50 lbs. Annie is very friendly and easy-going with her human companions. While she is a little older, she is still quite active and enjoys walks and playtime, followed of course by some good snoozes. We believe Annie would be fine living in a home with children, but she must be an only pet. She currently has skin issues due to allergies and is on medicine for treatment, including Apoquel.  Meet Sky – Our Sweet Explorer!  Currently with Above The Standard Dog Training in Florida Sometimes, there are dogs we adore but just can't quite figure out — and that's when it's time to turn to the pros. Sky is one of those pups. A few weeks ago, we sent this beautiful 2-year-old girl to training to get a professional evaluation and a deeper understanding of what she needs to thrive. And it’s paying off in a big way! Not only is Sky having an absolute blast in training, but she’s also gaining some much-needed weight and starting to really come into her own. With her sleek black coat, curious spirit, and growing confidence, she’s blossoming into the dog we always knew she could be. &#226&#156&#133 Dog Friendly? Absolutely! Sky loves other dogs. She’s been great with males, females, older and younger pups alike. She enjoys playing and exploring with her doggy friends, and we think she’d really benefit from a confident canine companion in her future home.  Kids? We’re updating her bio here — we now think older, calmer kids would be a better match. Sky can be a little nervous meeting new people, and a quiet home without too much hustle and bustle will help her continue to grow.  Public outings & the car? She’s calm, well-behaved, and fairly neutral. Her obedience training is coming along beautifully — she’s food-motivated and loves to learn.  Energy Level: Medium. She enjoys the outdoors, loves to run and explore, and we think she’ll be a lake-loving girl once she gets the chance!  Crate Training & Potty Habits: Sky has had a few crate accidents, but nothing consistent. She sometimes holds her potty for long stretches (even after a good walk), so she's a bit quirky there, but she’s capable of holding it just fine.  Separation Anxiety: Sky would do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for long stretches (8–10 hours a day).
