Story
Meet Bimbi – Your Loyal, Lovable Companion in the Making   Bimbi is a stunning, 3-year-old spayed beauty weighing in at around 40 pounds. With her regal looks and soulful eyes, she turns heads wherever she goes—but it’s her heart that really makes her shine.   Bimbi has known what it means to be let down, having spent much of her life confined to a crate. Despite this, she got along well with the small dogs in her previous home and remained the friendly, affectionate girl she was born to be. Sadly, when her family fell on hard times, Bimbi was surrendered, and now she’s waiting for her true forever home.   She absolutely loves meeting new people and soaks up attention like sunshine. She adores hugs, belly rubs, kisses, and gentle brushing with a soft brush—she’ll even close her eyes in bliss. Her favorite spot? Anywhere you are.   While Bimbi might not know a ton of commands just yet, she’s eager to learn and food-motivated (she mastered “sit” in record time with a few treats!). She enjoys playing with toys and balls—fetch is a favorite, even if she doesn’t always return the ball right away. Treat-based games are another great way to bond with her and keep her busy.   She’s a big fan of cozy dog beds and fluffy blankets, though when bored, she may chew on them a bit—so she’ll thrive with love, structure, and plenty of companionship. Her happiest moments? Going for car rides with her people. It’s been a while since she’s gotten to feel the wind in her fur, and she misses it deeply.  Bimbi is ready to trade her kennel days for couch cuddles, backyard exploring, movie nights, and being your loyal shadow. She doesn’t think cats make good roommates, so a cat-free home is a must.   If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart, who’s ready to learn, ready to play, and even more ready to belong—Bimbi is your girl. Come meet her. She’s been waiting for you.   Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 26, 2025, 11:59 pm

Story
Hunter is a gentle 60-pound Pitbull mix with a heart of gold. This strong boy, about a year old, was found running loose on the back roads of Tennessee, but despite his tough start, he's in great shape with a silky black coat. While no one has come forward to claim him, Hunter is patiently waiting for a loving family to call his own! Hunter enjoys his daily walks and is working on not pulling on the leash. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 He’s curious, playful, and loves other dogs! He’s been sharing a pen with a Boxer, though we feed him separately to avoid any food aggression. Hunter does the cutest little dance when it’s time for his meals or walks—it’s sure to put a smile on your face! While he hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, Hunter did have a run-in with a neighbor’s chicken , so he might be best suited to a home without small livestock. Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Hunter find their forever homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Are you ready to give this playful boy a chance at a new beginning? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 30, 2025, 9:41 pm

Story
Meet Zeus – Waiting for His Second Chance Zeus is a 1 ½ to 2-year-old Bully mix who has already been through so much in his short life. He and his sister, Foxy, lost their home when their family could no longer care for them. They entered the local shelter last November and Zeus spent months waiting behind kennel bars before coming into Lucky Paws Doghouse on June 11th. Despite everything, Zeus is still the sweetest boy. -Gets along with other dogs -Walks nicely on a leash -Loves yard time and running around to play -Friendly, affectionate, and gentle -He and his sister were kenneled together at one point and got into it over food. This could have occurred just from being in a high-stress environment. So, we would recommend feeding him separately from another dog in home just in case. We haven't seen this issue with any other dogs since! Sadly, Zeus has also tested heartworm positive — but this isn’t the end of his story. He is currently on slow-kill treatment. Zeus deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and home. He’s been waiting long enough — could you be the one to finally give him that chance? -Video of Zeus: https://youtube.com/shorts/zFL8zCJZOUM Zeus is neutered, vaccinated (DHLPP 9-in-1, Rabies, Bordetella), wormed, on monthly flea/tick prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Story
Meet Roxy Jo She was on her way to a kill shelter—babies in tow—when a last-minute plea changed everything. Now this mama-turned-main-character is looking for her forever home. Roxy Jo may not be the lab she was promised to be (we were bamboozled, y’all), but what she lacks in pedigree, she makes up for in pure, certified, Alabama-born grit and heart. She’s great with other dogs, fine with humans of all types, but when it comes to cats? Hard no. Ma’am said what she said. Quick Stats: Fully vetted & spayed Dog-friendly Cat-declined Short, stocky, and absolutely huggable Tail wags like a fan in church If you’ve got room in your life for a thick-thighed queen with a heart of gold and eyes that say, “I’ve seen some things,” then come meet Roxy Jo. She’s done surviving. She’s ready to live. Adoption Fee: $250 Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North to an adopter for an additional $200. Interested in adopting? If you would like to apply to take CLEMENTINE home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. I am a very sweet girl… I am shy at first but I will open up my heart you. It took me almost 3 weeks to settle down into my foster home. I loved having the foster puppies around they were fun to play with. I now like to play with the big dogs I am learning to be a dog. I get to get up on the couch and the bed with my foster mom. I like the bed she keeps telling me it’s okay I have never been on the bed before… I don’t like crates but I like my pen I get to stay when my foster mom is gone. I have learned the doggie door and it’s so much fun going in and out of it. I am learning being outside can be fun especially when all the other dogs go outside. I am working on sits and stays but I am still a little nervous with the trainer. Give me time and I will give you love… I would loved to be called your girl…. I just need some patience and some love and we will best friends forever!!!!
