Ceniza's life began with hardship. Likely used for breeding and then discarded, she came to us as a timid one-year-old. Now about six years old, she has grown into a loving, gentle companion who is easy to be around. She is quiet, affectionate, great with kids, and loves both cuddles and playtime. Her sweet, energetic spirit has brought so much joy into our lives. Because of her past, Ceniza does have challenges. She is not friendly toward other animals, so she would do best as the only pet in a household. She also struggles with anxiety when left alone, so she feels safest being crated during those times. While these needs may sound like obstacles, they are small compared to the warmth and loyalty she gives every day. As much as we adore her, our relocation makes it impossible to give her the stable environment she deserves. Finding her a new home is a heartbreaking decision, but the right family will gain a devoted companion who will reward them with endless love and joy.

Hi, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Vinnie and I just celebrated my 5 th birthday on September 23 rd . I am currently living with a wonderful family who have been taking really good care of me, but since I want to be the only dog in the family, unfortunately, this can’t be my forever home, which is really what I am looking for. So let me brag and tell you a little about myself. I am super chilled, not a barker, crate trained, housebroken, I love car rides, I am definitely not an early riser, dog friendly, not food aggressive, I take my meds well and am up to date on all my vet visits. I also love the challenge of a good, hard chew toy. To sum it up, I’m just an easy going, sweet and loving boy who likes to snuggle and make everyone happy. I do want to tell you that I have a few little quirks. I need to take daily medication, need a weekly allergy shot and also a weekly bath. I am allergic to cats, need a little assistance getting in and out of the car and can only tolerate short walks due to my short legs. I am also cordial to everyone that I meet when out for a stroll. Oh, also, I don’t like heat and humidity, but then again, who does…UGH! While it might sound selfish that I want to be the only dog and don’t like to share my humans, it simply means that I will devote myself to you and only you if given the chance.     URGENT!!! Petey is a 3 yr old 60 lbs Boxer mix. Petey's Shelter in KY has shut down and they are paying to board  him now, which they can't afford.  He once had a great home and an owner who loved him. We were holding Petey for her for a bit but due to personal circumstances, his owner was unable to take him back and recently asked us to find him a new home or rescue. Petey is really in need of a new forever home rather than being in boarding. He is super sweet and loves people above all else! He is so beautiful and soooo sweet. He does not like cats so no kitties for him! Can someone give him a happy ending to his story? He was good with the other dogs at the shelter. Petey is available through our foster to adopt program.
