Luna is about 5 years old. She is playful and cuddly. She wants to be by you 24/7. We are moving to another country and they have laws against Pitties. We want to take her so bad, but we just can't.

Say hello to Sierra! She’s a sweet, fun-loving girl, about 3 years old, and all up-to-date on her vaccinations. Sierra has been on the lookout for her forever home since September 15th! She’s a total sweetheart who’s done well with everyone she’s met so far, and she even has done well with other dogs at the shelter.She’d love to meet any furry friends in her future home before adoption, just to make sure it’s the perfect match! She truly is one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever had, and we’re excited to tell you more about her! She is a high-energy pup who thrives on attention, activity, and engagement. She’s also incredibly smart—she listens well on a gentle lead and already knows how to sit and lay down. She absolutely loves rolling in the grass and playing with her plushy toys. We’ve been working on crate training with her, and she’s been improving steadily. She usually cries for about 10 minutes after being put in her crate, but then she settles in very well. Peanut butter Kongs are her favorite, so we like to give her one when she goes in—this helps her relax and keeps her mind busy. She does great with other dogs once she’s had a slow, structured introduction. She tends to rush in a little too fast at first, so we’ve been practicing calm, step-by-step greetings. We walk her closer gradually and ask her to sit or lay down as we approach, which has helped her learn how to meet new dog friends politely. She also has been out on a hike, and she did wonderfully. She loves the water, loves people, and will often try to greet every friendly stranger she sees. If you have any questions or would like to set up a meeting with her, we would be happy to help. Meet Delilah! Delilah came to us as an Owner Release, and life in the shelter has been really hard on her. She’s been extremely stressed and has even been losing weight, but with a special diet fed three times a day, she’s starting to regain her strength. What she truly needs, though, is a loving home to call her own.She’s about 2 years old and is the sweetest, most gentle soul. Delilah has done wonderfully with other dogs here and has shown nothing but kindness and affection toward our staff and volunteers. She adores her walks and time in the dog yard, and every single day she greets us with a wagging tail and joyful little stomps, just waiting for snuggles and love.Imagine starting your mornings with a wagging tail and those happy little feet greeting you every single day. Let me take a second to introduce you to Kelso. He’s got everything you want: he’s funny, he’s chill, he’s handsome, he’s dog friendly, and even cat friendly! He’s an absolute winner and we give him 5 gold stars! He’s described as an old soul in a puppy body. We believe Kelso is some sort of Labrador/ Pittie mix. With rescue this is just our best guess, but we can tell you he’s 100% a good boy. He is just over 7 months old, but he is extremely well mannered. He likes to read the room, and it may take him a second to warm up— but not that long! After no time he will be asking for some attention and belly rubs. He is so curious and likes to stop and smell the roses. Kelso the explorer! This handsome fellow is very clever and learns quickly, and he is very food-motivated and will do almost anything for a treat! Kelso has been around and does great with the cats and kittens in his foster home. He has learned which ones he can socialize with and which ones he needs to stay away from. Kelso is very good about sleeping in his kennel at night, and goes to his kennel on his own for naps or to chew on his favorite toy. He's not destructive and has been trusted to free-roam with the other pets when his foster parents leave. This clever boy has already mastered the doggy door and going out to potty. This amazing fellow has not had any accidents in months! Kelso loves to go on walks with his dog friends. He does very well on leash and enjoys a leisurely stroll. Kelso loves to play in the backyard too, running around with his dog friends and his toys. We love to see him stretching out to sunbathe! He is also a great rider in the car and enjoys a good outing. This soft and snuggly boy has the most distinctive coat of black and brown (almost brindle but not quite) that simply shines in the sun. His soft brown eyes are so expressive and will communicate everything you need to know. Kelso will win your heart slowly but surely - he is cautious and shy at first but soon opens up to all the pets, and a few soft stuffies and chew toys would be appreciated here too, and go ahead and throw in some treats for this positively very good boy. Kelso melts right into you with behind-the-ear scratches and snuggles, and we love to see him stretch out and relax once he gets comfy. We think Kelso looks quite regal with his pop of white at his chest and all four feet (and don't forget that wisp of white at his chin). This handsome fellow is ready to attend any formal event...whether it's in a soft and fluffy dog bed or your living room, Kelso is dressed for every occasion! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
