If you’re looking for a rescue dog- you’re likely looking for a dog that you can form a deep bond with, a dog that knows you’ve saved their life, a dog that reward you endlessly with unconditional love and gratitude. That’s not all rescue dogs, but that is definitely Panda. Panda is estimated to be just two years old, and weighs in at 50 pounds. We think he’s a Pittie mix, but he is a rescue, so this is simply a best educated guess. Panda is lovingly named for both his black and white coat, and his mellow nature. He thrives in the company of goofy, playful dogs- his foster mom says that’s when he “really comes to life.” She says “While he gets along with male dogs, he gravitates to females.” We saw this during his behavior assessment, Panda enjoyed the company of every dog he met, but fell head over heels for Lucy. Lucy is a loving, confident and playful deaf Pittie of a similar size to Panda. When Panda met Lucy, he was instantly drawn to her open, happy, silly and friendly energy, and even started to play with her. His big play bow and bunny hops told us all that we needed to know- Panda’s doggy-soulmate is surely a goofy girl. Panda draws a lot of confidence from other dogs, we joke that Panda needs his own “emotional support dog,” and we hope he will be one of multiple dogs in your home. A perfect family dog, Panda was previously fostered in a home with children aged 5 and up. He did well with them, and we can definitely see him living in a home with little ones- provided they’re respectful and sweet with him. Panda is still learning about all of the luxuries that come with loving humans and a stable home. He can be a bit shy when you first meet him. The key to Panda’s heart is patience, nylabones, and walks. He’s great on leash, perfect for tandem walking, and really bonds with his people through walks. His foster mom regularly takes him on tandem walks with her resident dog, and he does wonderfully. He races to the door when she picks up the leash, always excited for their next excursion. If your neighborhood isn’t the best place to walk, have no fear- Panda is a seasoned professional passenger. This cutie settles well in the backseat, and has patience through the entire car ride. Panda may still be learning, but he knows one thing for sure- sleeping in bed at night with his humans? That’s the life. Sweet Panda loves to snuggle up at night next to his human, and will sometimes cuddle. He’s also a huge fan of the couch, the lazyboy, pretty much anywhere that he can curl up and get comfy. If a dog sharing your bed doesn’t sound too terribly enticing, that’s okay too- Panda is kennel trained and used to staying in his kennel while his foster mom is at work. He’s also fully house trained, for bonus points. Panda is such a perfect pooch, ready for his happily ever after. We think Panda’s perfect home is somewhere off the beaten path, a suburban or rural home, somewhere quiet and serene. Panda will thrive in a home with another dog, but we do not recommend him for a home with kitties. It’s snuggling season- and Lane got the memo! This sweet girl is an avid fan of couch snuggles and sweet little love sessions, she could lay with you all day, enjoying belly rubs and ear scritches. Lane is the perfect best friend- loving, loyal and always excited to see you. Lane is an itty bitty baby dog, she weighs in around 50 pounds, a total “pocket pittie” type. Lane is estimated to be around 2 years old, and she has so much to show for it. She’s attentive to her people, easy on leash and has great house manners. She’s spent her lifetime studying up to be your perfect dog! We believe Lane to be an American Pit Bull Terrier, Labrador mix, but she is a rescue so these are just our best guesses. The second thing people notice about Lane is that she is already in their lap, midway through a bellyrub, and also kissing them. This girl is so, so warm and friendly with everyone she meets. She’s a complete lovebug. She is a great match for any socially active household, big family or extended friend group- the more the merrier, Lane says! Lane will look up and smile at you when she’s happy, showing her little teefies in gratitude and appreciation. It’s the cutest thing about her! She loves to be talked to, and she’ll stick right by your side when you walk around the yard. For affection, Lane will lean into you, suggesting some pets. On leash, when you’re stopped, she has an adorable habit of sitting down and looking up at her handler, asking for affection. Lane has so many makings of a great dog already. She’s food motivated and affection motivated, making further training enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Lane already knows “sit,” and she’s working on “lay down,” and “roll over.” See her show off her skills for yourself in her video! Lane is a very fast learner, submissive with people, and very respectful of rules. Lane is really easy on leash already, and a huge fan of walks. She loves to sniff around, and here at the rescue she hasn’t been fazed by passing cars. Here at the rescue, we’ve noticed that Lane prefers calmer dogs and she does well with small dogs too. She could do well in a home with a stable, relaxed doggy sibling. Lane would love a home with a yard to sunbathe in. If you having a dog that is both a great companion and a source of entertainment is important to you, its your lucky day because you found your Waldo. This boy is great company and I always laugh more when he is around which just adds to his charm. In rescue we cannot guarantee age or breed but offer our educated observations. It's his personality that we fell for anyway and that is something we do know with certainty. Waldo is a very good potty trained boy, and he can hold it for almost 9 hours! Waldo loves his people! People with treats in hand are even better- like an ice cream with a cherry on top. The beauty of a dog that is treat motivated is that you will have his full attention for training sessions and the reinforcement a treat provides typically help accelerate learning new skills/tricks. Second, he loves toys! Sure, if given a stuffie he will show you how he got the title of - Certified De-Fluffer, but strong toys or Nyla bones are a whole other story. With those, he will happily entertain himself nearby, he doesn’t need your constant attention, he is very content entertaining himself or taking a nice long nap. He is known as being "toy-obsessed" and his favorite toy is a fluffy orange fox. Its the only one he takes care of! How cute! Waldo is also a rare boy in that he doesn’t give those classic, sloppy, pittie kisses. He instead gives these nose to nose “seal-smooches” as I call them. You can feel the love in them and as much as we hate to admit it, some people do not love a sloppy kiss from a dog. The ones that do may be disappointed but the ones who don’t will be thrilled! Don’t let the lack of promised sloppy kisses make you think he isn’t loving, you’ll know it when he gently climbs into your lap. He doesn’t need to be in your lap, you’ll often see him with a toy in his mouth laying nearby somewhere cozy. He is good company without being needy, a personal favorite type of dog. If he is on the couch though, the pillows will be on the ground, he loves to burrow behind them so they naturally end up on the ground. Its incredibly cute though, so you won’t even be bothered by it. Waldo has been around Kobe, who is 4. They had a fun time together, having a pillow fight and sharing spray cheese! He is so good that he would sit for Kobe and take his treats super gently! Kobe enjoyed smoothering Waldo in pillows and burying him, which Waldo handled with ease. We think Waldo would be a great family pup, snuggling in bed and watching your kids favorite show with them post- pillow fight! We know this because we caught Waldo cuddling on the bed with Kobe while he was watching his favorite youtube show. Waldo would probably be best in a home with older children because he can be a very bouncy boy! A dream home for Waldo is one where he could be your one-and only, with a yard for sunbathing with someone who doesn’t have rules about dogs on the couch… he loves the couch! Waldo has been introduced to dogs and lives with dogs in his foster home and although he can be in the company of other dogs, he shines brighter when he is the only dog. Some dogs just want to be the main character and we know the people who want to pour all their love into one dog are out there. Waldo has great basic leash skills and passes other dogs calmly when out and about. He is also treat motivated which typically helps the training process and can be used for any behavior from leash manners to party tricks. Snoopy Pookie is the perfect dog to come home to after a long day at work- he’ll love you, and greet you with affection at the door. When you want to kick your feet up and simply enjoy the company of your TV, he’ll be content to hang out by himself, nap at your feet or snuggle up beside you. We believe that Snoopy is a pittie, lab mix but he is a rescue, so this is just our best guess! Snoopy is estimated to be around 5 years old, an established good boy with great house manners and a calm and gentle demeanor. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Rayne Dani is 5 months old, about 35lbs, and rocking a classic black-and-white coat with the most adorable heart-shaped nose! Possibly a Pittie/Lab mix (though with rescue, it’s always a fun guess), this little lovebug is already stealing hearts. She’s a social butterfly who loves other dogs, happily rolling onto her back in playgroups before dashing off to join the fun. Brave and playful, she jumps on toys with pure puppy joy, keeping everyone entertained with her goofball antics. Rayne loves to play her version of hide and seek with her foster mom- she will hide under the bed and attack her feet. Her foster mom doesn't have the heart to tell her she won't be able to fit under there much longer. Rayne is also making fantastic progress on the leash—just a little more practice, and she’ll be a pro! Currently fostered with dogs and a cat (who she’s completely uninterested in), Rayne is proving to be an eager learner. She’s potty and crate trained, adores treats, and soaks up affection like a sponge. Her favorite pastime? Sticking close to her foster mom, following her around, and gazing up adoringly—cue the aww’s! Rayne and her foster mom have been working on her out in public socialization, and she is doing great! Rayne is very self-sufficient and is able to entertain herself when needed- she will either take a nap (one of her favorite things) or grab a toy! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you!
