Story
I adopted Ripple about 15 months ago. While an incredibly sweet and personable girl, my lifestyle of traveling for work and her going with me is too much stress for her. She was in the pound for a year. She does get along with other dogs but is territorial over food and toys but only with other dogs, not people. She knows sit, lay down, & wait. She is house trained. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks

Story
This beautiful, sweet 4 year old pittie mix is ready for her Happily Ever After! Watch her: https://youtu.be/LwnlodilBe8 Anastasia is a true rescue. She & her TEN puppies were grabbed out of a kill shelter 2 hours before being euthanized. All her puppies have been adopted to the PNW but we NEVER leave momma behind. So now it's her turn! Meet Ana, the independent and playful girl with a heart full of love for everyone she meets except squirrels!. Ana is a happy dog with medium energy. Her charming personality is sure to win over the hearts of both humans and fellow canines. Ana takes strolls in the park and neighborhood easily. She greets people with a smile and passes dogs with a wagging tail. Speaking of taking walks… this girl is good on a leash and learning how to tandem walk with her bestie. She is very smart too, and treats help her excel in training! Anna knows the commands, sit, stay and leave it! Ana's favorite pastime is engaging in playful wrestling with her four-legged friends. She adores the company of dogs, regardless of their size. Her gentle and mellow energy make her an ideal companion for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Ana is very good at adjusting her energy with the dog she is playing with. She can rough play with other big dogs or lay down and be gentle with a puppy. Ana can be tolerant and friendly towards cats but has never lived with a cat! Ana would probably be best to not live with a cat. Ana has a particular fondness for water. Splashing around and cooling off in lakes, pools, or even a simple garden hose brings her joy. While Ana is undeniably a dog who loves the company of her fellow canines, her affection for people is equally boundless. She possesses a heart for all individuals, and her friendly nature makes her an instant favorite among those she meets. Whether it's a wagging tail, a joyful bark, or a gentle nuzzle, Ana's enthusiasm for people is always on display. Ana’s favorite way is to cuddle on the couch and scoot her snout behind your back! She is potty trained and comfortable in her crate, providing both convenience and peace of mind in the home . She even takes full advantage of a dog door, showcasing her smarts! Anastasia is such a beautiful, sweet soul. Any family would be a lucky to take her on trips or just to run errands in the car! Ana loads up easily and enjoys going places. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
**Available for Texas adoption or adoption in the PNW** Lilly’s heart is as big as her ears! Lilly’s personality can be explained with the 4 S’s: silly, sweet, sensitive, and smart! Lilly has stolen the hearts of not just the Texas team, but the PNW team as well! Make sure to check out Lilly’s videos to see her most recent adventure to Home Depot, getting a new kind of snack, and her best day ever with bubbles! This little lady is estimated to be around 2-3 years old and a Pittie mix. Any guesses where she gets her big ears from?! She will shock you with how smart she is. She knows sit, stay, leave it, shake, spin, and has her kennel routine down to a science. Watch out because she is smart enough to hop in the shower with you, because this girl LOVES water. Pool time, bath time, sprinklers, or playing with the hose, you name it she loves it. She THRIVES when she has a job to do, from food puzzles, walking on her gentle lead, to playing with a kong or popping bubbles outside. (Now don’t worry, her gentle lead isn’t a muzzle, it is a tool for leash training. Lilly walks better on a gentle lead, just like some dogs walk better on a harness versus a regular collar and leash). We think she would also do awesome learning some agility training. Lilly loves a good walk around the block or a trip to home depot! This sweet girl wants a family who is as confident, knowledgeable, and ready to explore as much as she is. A family who are busy bodies like she is. Lilly would even do great with a family with kiddos around 5 years old and up. Lilly will do amazing if your lifestyle is consistent and structured like hers. Lilly is dog friendly, however would do best without any other animals in the home. Think Lilly might be a good fit for you? Email samantha@threelittlepittiesrescue.org for more info or any questions. Available for adoption in NV, UT, ID, OR, WA and Canada! Story
This is sweet Momma Cornell! The first thing you notice about this girl is her beautiful fawn and white coat and her strong, elegant presence! She looks to be a purebred Pittie but with rescue it’s just a guess! She absolutely LOVES people, she’s cuddly, happy, sweet. She is pure joy!! See her personality here: https://youtu.be/Hq95kpxrZKM She’s a 2 year old fawn and white pittie mix weighing in at 65 lbs. This girl is a true love bug! She is very low key in the home and LOVES her people! Check out her video to see how she is with kids. She loves them dearly. She loves to give them kisses and jump up to sit next to them on the couch. She gets the zoomies so if she’s going to be with tiny kids she would need to be supervised. Momma has moderate energy and loves to go places with her humans. She rides well in the car. She is crate and potty trained and currently lives with older kids and the resident dogs. She LOVES to run in the yard with other dogs at full speed. Momma Cornell is a female that does best with other dogs who are submissive. Her ideal home would be one where she is the only dog or in a home where she resides with a submissive, non-conflict driven male or female. She can also coexist with an older lazy cat. A younger cat may want to run and taunt, which would cause her to chase. You can judge for yourself by her cat intro in the video. The only time this sweet girl is really vocal is when it’s time to eat her breakfast in the morning or if she hears people moving about while she’s in her crate. Her foster mom uses a fan or white noise when she’s crates so this isn’t an issue! Fun fact about Momma … she loves the water! She would love to accompany on visits to the lake and currently lives in a home with a pool! This girl is still young so it would be best for her to be with a family that can work on setting healthy boundaries. She will need someone who knows the breed and is willing to work with her and be patient! She’s learning to walk on a leash and does well with a gentle leader. She will pull for the first 5-10 minutes then eventually calms down and walks normally. She will need a confident, stronger handler. She also sometimes will bark at dogs who pass by so she will need quick and easy corrections, which she does take well. It’s best to walk on the other side of the street in case the other dog is reactive. She would also do well in a home where she can get daily physical and metal exercise to some degree. Walks and treat puzzles would be perfect for this very deserving girl. Is Momma Cornell the right girl for you? Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Story
Meet Lucy! -People Loving -LOVES KIDS -Cat Avoidant Lucy is an adorable young 2-3 year old female Pittie mix who needs a loving and active home. She is about 57 lbs and very healthy. Her color is a silky gray-brown with white markings. Lucy is a great mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, American Bully, and American Foxhound. She is current on all her vaccinations and routinely has flea and tick prevention medications. She is dog friendly and does very well with slow introductions and then play time! During her assessment she actually avoided the cats and was somewhat scared of them. Before she was spayed in January 2023, she had three adorable puppies last October (Lady, Buster and Raider) and was an excellent mom. All puppies were adopted through Three Little Pitties! Lucy takes up with new people very well. She loves attention and playing fetch, and tug-o-war. She rides well in vehicles and is house trained, but does well outdoors. She loves to go on walks and plays well with other dogs. Lucy loves to be with her people and misses them when away. She is affectionate and likes to sleep near or with her owner. She often cuddles like a lap dog. Lucy has not had formal training, but she is bright and seems to be very trainable! She eats well and takes medications easily. She does not resource guard and so far has not shown a prey drive. Lucy is a great pet and will give many years of loving affection to a new owner! Lucy is currently fostered in Texas. When she transports she'll be current on shots, spayed, healthy & ready for her forever home! Story
Houdie is now being fostered in WA and ready for meet and greets! Houdie Fenton is a very handsome and kind gentleman. He is a very sweet boy, squishy and lovable. He is not shy around new people and just wants to be loved. When walking on a leash he seems to do well on a harness and is easy to walk. A simple touch on his butt and he will sit for you. He would be happy in a home with another dog - cats, not so much. He does very well on car rides and likes going places. He lives with a 10 lb rambunctious Pomeranian mix and is able to deal with her bouncy energy. She’s tiny next to him and he’s so respectful and mindful of her need— he even gives in when she comes to his bowl to share with him! Houdie is crate trained, though not his favorite place, he knows the routine and settles in it daily. He will bark or whine to let you know he needs out of his crate to potty. Houdie is the sweetest boy. He loves to get belly rubs. He doesn’t like baths, but behaves really well while bathing because he loves all the body rubbing. When he gets the zoomies and starts running around the backyard he is so happy. He loves to run with other dogs. He is a neighborhood favorite! Everyone recognizes this handsome boy and stops to say hello, and he is frequently invited over to the next door neighbor’s house to hang out with their kids and doggies. He’s a real charmer! Houdie was likely born deaf and has lived his entire life without hearing. So, here’s the deal: living with and training a deaf dog is just like living with and training a hearing dog - just takes a bit longer to get him used to learning signs. Have experience with hearing impaired dogs? He’s your man. Love him but no experience? Houdie is still your guy. He just wants to love you and get belly rubs and be yours forever. Learning some doggie signs will only enhance your love for each other. Don’t miss out on this amazing pup!
