Sue is the sweetest girl. She’s about 3 months old, learns commands quickly, and is doing great with crate training. She loves to cuddle and play, doesn’t bark, and has been gentle with everyone she’s met. She’s interacted with other dogs and toddlers and has shown no biting or nipping, just pure affection. Sue is a loving, gentle pup who deserves a home that will truly adore her. I’m rehoming her because I want what’s best for her. With my small apartment and limited resources, I don’t have the time or means to take care of her properly.

Tyson it’s a really nice dog, he’s so protective, it’s not aggressive, he likes to play with more dogs, he’s trained so, he understand commands, he’s 5 years old, he can stay with more pets, with children’s and inside or outside home. Very high energy, needs someone to play, walk her, she can jump really high. She can open certain types of doorknobs. She is in a home with a small toddler and a pit who is very old and ill, and she isn’t able to play or have what she needs and deserves. She is good with the baby but is getting sat on, hit with toys, smacked etc., and just not a good situation at this point. The older dog is almost ready first rainbow bridge and she will have no one to try to play with, etc. I am also wanting to move and that is also an issue as I’m downsizing to a home with no yard. The main issue is my toddler and that I cannot provide time for her as I’m a single mom, and have a f/t job as a nurse plus starting school. My plate is full. I need to find a good home for her where she can be happy and fulfilled, here she is not.

This is Duncan Doggie, He is almost 6 years old, 67 pound Pit Bull (possibly a mix, there is no way to really know for sure in rescue) that has a lot of love to give but will need some special care in his furever home. Duncan has a lot of love to give and is overall a very happy and healthy boy but it took a lot of time, love and some medical care to get him there. Duncan Doggie was found dumped on the grounds of Avenal State Prison in California June of 2023 and no one really knows how he got there. He was covered in wounds that were either from other dogs or coyotes, missing a majority of his fur, skin rubbed raw, and a lot of his teeth were broken. A volunteer at the Avenal shelter posted a TikTok in hopes that a rescue would pull him and give him the medical attention he needed and the love he deserved, that is where I found him. I instantly fell in love with him and drove the 1800 mile round trip to pick him up and bring him back to Northern Utah. He is the biggest love bug and will gladly accept scratches and cuddles from any humans big or small! He loves to run around in the yard, play tug of war, play fetch, and if you are lucky he will even bring the ball back to you! True to his breed he also loves being lazy, he has his favorite purple minky that he stole from me and will go with him to his forever home for him to cuddle to his heart's content. He currently lives with children aged 3-14 and he is wonderful with all of them, sometimes he will get the wiggle butts and his tail could make him considered armed and dangerous, other than that though he is a complete sweetheart. Unfortunately due to his past he is fear reactive to any adult dogs and an addendum will be included in his adoption contract. He has loved every single puppy I've fostered in the last 8 months like it was his own but any adult dogs at home or in public terrify him and make him get full body shakes and then turn to aggression if he can't be removed from the other dog immediately. Since having Duncan here he has made huge strides in his health and he has been the happiest, most loving foster from the second I picked him up. We discovered that his fur was missing and skin was raw due to food allergies, he needs to be on a grain and poultry free diet to prevent that from happening again in the future, he is currently eating a salmon based food and thriving on it. In addition to his allergies he was in need of a complete dental and is down 14 teeth but that doesn't stop him from eating dry food and enjoying treats like any other dog. He is resilient and has not let a single negative thing slow him down, he is truly a special dog.
