Story
Little Miss is an 8-year-old Pit Bull/Bull Dog mix. We brought her home as a puppy in December of 2018. She loves to cuddle even though she weighs about 70 pounds. She likes to rest and relax near her owners, and she loves walks. She has done well with our dog, who has since passed, and our cat. She does well with our grandson and likes to follow him around and lie around with him. She has high anxiety; although she does well with him, she does not do well with multiple children or people. In the last few years, she has had issues with bladder stones and incontinence. She is crate-trained and does well on a leash. My husband and I are both nurses and will be working out of state most of next year, and we are unable to bring her with us. It has become increasingly difficult to give her time and attention with the long hours we work and her increasing medical issues. Little Miss deserves a home that can devote more time to her.

Zoe isn’t a fan of the kennel and would much prefer being close to her people. She’s currently on a special diet to help with some skin issues and is doing great with it. Zoe has shown some protective tendencies, so she’ll thrive with a confident, experienced owner who can provide structure and guidance. We are needing to re-home our sweet Lily. She has had a hard time adjusting to life with a toddler and we just haven’t been able to give her the love and attention she deserves. She will be 10 in October and gets along fine with our other small dog. Completely house trained and will tolerate new dogs and people. We found Zoey abandoned in Houston. We went through the process of finding her home and decided to foster her until we found her a proper home. My kids fell in love with her so we held off and brought her on our move to Utah. Zoey had heart worms when we got her and we put her through treatment, she is a year free of heart worms! Due to her time on the streets Zoey is reactive towards other dogs. We have another pit that she did get along with but taking her on walks around other dogs is challenging. She does good with our kids however she is very vocal and doesn’t like to be touched when she’s being a couch potato. We are pregnant and this new addition has pushed us to move forward with finding Zoey a home as we originally planned. She is a sweet heart and you would absolutely love her!
