Story
Hello everyone! My name is Rose, and I am an adorable pitty mix with a lot of love to give. I am an athletic dog with lots of energy. I love to run and play, but I also love to cuddle up with my favorite humans. I am an affectionate girl who just wants someone to love me for who I am. Unfortunately I am dog selective so I would do best in a home where I am the only dog. But that just means all the love and attention will be for you! I am an adult dog, but I still have lots of playful puppy energy. I am crate trained and house trained. I can't wait to find my forever home and have a fresh start. If you think that could be with you, please come and meet me today! If you are interested in giving the loving home that Rose deserves please fill out an application at Happytailshappyhomes.org under the adopt tab.

Story
**Chuck is not in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes. Chuck is residing with his current owner who is in need of rehoming him and we are assisting in the process. If you are interested in Chuck, please fill out an application https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform ** Meet Chuck! 🐶 Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Great Pyrenees mix 🎂 Age: 6 years old (born 07/19/2019) 🎨 Color: White & Brown ⚖️ Sex: Male Chuck is a sweet, goofy, and lovable dog who’s ready to find his perfect forever home. A true nap connoisseur, Chuck spends most of his day lounging around in funny positions on the couch — but when it’s time to play, he’s all in! He lives for fetch, tug-of-war, and dog park zoomies, often showing off his signature spin moves when playing with other pups. Chuck thrives on routine: two daily walks and some backyard playtime keep him feeling his best. He currently lives in an urban area, but he would much prefer a calmer, quieter environment — ideally with a yard and no kids. Chuck is looking for a new home because the recent addition of a baby has been very stressful for him. While he has never bitten anyone, he has shown defensive behavior around the baby, including a recent lunge, which led his current family to make the very difficult decision to rehome him. Chuck does have a few quirks — he’s a bit anxious, especially around beeping noises, fireworks, and delivery drivers. He also takes Zyrtec for seasonal allergies and occasionally needs an allergy shot if he has a flare-up. But in the right home — quiet, kid-free, and full of love — Chuck will be the sweetest, most loyal couch buddy you could ask for. If you're looking for a lazy-day snuggler with bursts of goofy energy and a heart full of love, Chuck might be your guy. 🐾

Story
🦴 Meet Dino: Your Prehistoric Pal in a Modern Package! 🦕 **Breed:** Pit Bull (with a heart the size of Bedrock) **Age:** 3 years **Color:** Dino-purple-ish gray (okay, fine—gray, but he *feels* purple) **Size:** Medium-large, but thinks he's lap-sized **Location:** Somewhere between the Stone Age and your couch 🌟 Personality: Dino is a certified goofball with the energy of a toddler on a sugar rush and the loyalty of a knight sworn to protect your snacks. He’s got the bounce of a trampoline and the snuggle skills of a weighted blanket. If you’ve ever dreamed of having a dog who greets you like you’ve returned from a 10-year quest (even if you just went to the mailbox), Dino’s your guy. He doesn’t bark—he *announces*. He doesn’t walk—he *prances*. And he doesn’t just wag his tail—he *helicopters* it with such enthusiasm, small objects may be relocated. 🦕 Dino’s Journey: Dino’s past wasn’t all belly rubs and biscuits. Before arriving at the shelter, he endured a traumatic experience—he was attacked and pepper sprayed before being abandoned. But this resilient pup is learning how to trust again, how to play again, and how to just *be* a dog. Every day is a step forward, and every tail wag is a little victory. He’s currently working on muzzle training—not because he’s a menace, but because it helps him feel safe and secure in new situations. Think of it as his superhero mask while he rebuilds his confidence. 🍗 Dino’s Delicate Dining: Dino has some food sensitivities, so he’s on a special diet that keeps his tummy happy and his zoomies fully charged. He’s not picky—he just prefers meals that don’t turn his digestive system into a prehistoric volcano. 🛏️ Ideal Home: Dino would thrive in a home where belly rubs are frequent, couches are dog-approved, and patience is plentiful. He’s great with humans of all sizes, though he may accidentally knock over small ones in his excitement (he’s working on it—he’s in charm school). Other dogs? He’s open to negotiations. Cats? Let’s just say… TBD. 🦴 Adoption Perks: - Comes with his own imaginary dinosaur roar. - Will never judge your fashion choices. - Thinks you’re the coolest person alive. Period. - Has the emotional depth of a poet and the comedic timing of a sitcom dog. --- Ready to bring a little Bedrock into your life? Adopt Dino and help him write the next chapter—one filled with love, laughter, and prehistoric cuddles🦴💜

Story
🥨🍪biscuit🍪🍿 our senior snacc Okay listen up — this is Biscuit, 40 lbs of pure old-man charisma and mid-day nap expertise. He’s been waiting over a year (yes… an entire year 😭) for someone to give him a soft landing for his golden years. At 11 years young, Biscuit is officially accepting applications for his “fos-pice” (that’s foster + hospice, for the uninitiated). Translation: he’s not looking for forever drama, just forever comfort, cuddles, and the occasional silly zoomie. Biscuit Breakdown: 💕Sweet & gentle — grandpa energy with the soul of a golden retriever. 💕Goofy & playful — sometimes forgets he’s 11 and breaks into spontaneous dance moves. 💕Dog-friendly — loves chill, confident dogs who get his vibe. 💕Toy lover — serious about tug-of-war; unserious about everything else. 💕No cats — he’s politely declining all feline applications. All Biscuit wants is a cozy home, soft couch, and a human who sees his silly, soulful, “I still got it” energy and says, “Yeah I’ll love you until the end.”🥺😩🤞🏼

Story
HI - I'M TOMMY, a handsome 7-1/2-year-old gray Pit Bull Terrier who has waited much too long for someone to adopt me! I'm currently looking for a foster or forever home. I was originally rescued from a shelter awhile back and was skin and bones - now I'm filled out and weigh about 75 pounds! I tested OK with some dogs, but I would honestly be best as the only dog in the home, where I can bond with my person or people. I'm a very loyal and strong dog, who will be a very faithful companion. I love to play fetch, go for walks or just hang out and snuggle. I'm not good with cats, though. Can you give me a forever home? Please email for an application.
