Oki (named after the state she came from) is a very sweet and cuddly dog with a lot of personality. She knows how to shake, high-five, sit, lay down, spin (both ways), and “hug”. She deserves a great home with a very plentiful life, but our landlord doesn’t allow dogs. She’s can be a bit shy at first, but when she warms up to you she will also warm your heart. I love her and I just want to find a good new home for her because she deserves it.

Luna was rescued in January of 2020. She was found as a stray who had recently had a litter. She is likely about 7-8 years old currently. We DNA tested her and her results came back 60.1% American Pit Bull Terrier, 16.4% American Staffordshire Terrier, 14.8 American Bulldog, and 8.7% Supermutt (but likely husky!) While Luna is a great dog, and friendly to all humans, she is very dog-reactive. I have a 2-year-old daughter and a newborn. Between two children, frequent travel, and anxiety about taking her on walks due to her reactivity, we would like to find a home better suited to her needs. We feel Luna would do best in a home with adults or older children. While mostly a couch-potato, Luna loves to play fetch and tug of war and go on runs! She is a snuggle bug and wants to be next to you all the time. She knows lots of commands and is very food motivated.

She is kennel trained and will eat in a kennel. Potty training has been mastered, and she will stand by the door (she has been on a regular schedule, so that helps). She’s also making steady progress with her leash skills, though squirrels, bunnies, and barking dogs can still be very exciting and may cause some pulling.In her foster home, Jewel loves squeaky toys, antlers, and hard chew or rope toys. She enjoys chasing a ball, even if she doesn’t always feel like bringing it back. She plays well with the other dogs in the home and does great with the teenage girl there.Jewel absolutely loves car rides and going along on adventures with her people.
