Meet Ruckus Ruckus is a handsome pit bull who came into our care as a stray on 2-14-26. Born approximately 9/25/2022, this sweet boy is around 3 years old and has so much love to give.Ruckus is an absolute lovebug who lives for butt scratches and tasty treats! He is very food motivated, which makes continued training both fun and rewarding. While he can be a bit shy at first, once he warms up, he truly shines—showing off his affectionate, loyal personality and becoming a total sweetheart.Ruckus would do best in an active home with older, respectful teenagers and up who can help him continue building confidence and trust. He’s learning that people can be kind and dependable, and with patience, consistency, and love, he will make an incredibly devoted companion.Ruckus is neutered and fully vetted, and ready to find the forever home he deserves. If you’re interested in giving Ruckus the second chance he’s been waiting for, please apply online at eastshoreha.org by filling out a pet application. Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on September 11th and arrive on September 12th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 8/9/26 Dog Name: Starburst Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix Approximate Age: 1.5 years Approximate Weight: 43 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Adoption Fee: $450 Description:Starburst is very special to our hearts. She was dumped, neglected and starving. She was so gentle and sweet and begging to be saved! She has now put some healthy weight on and she is THRIVING! She loves her shelter doggy friends and is learning how to play fetch and is doing amazing with her recall and leash training. She truly is so resilient and so ready for a life of love and comfort! Starburst is a lucky girl who was found just in the nick of time!! She is in a small town shelter and needs a hero!!    We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. August 17, 2026, 8:59 pm

Story
His name is Bodhi. I've had him since he was a puppy. Adopted from a shelter. He has lived with three other dogs.My wife's oldest dog and him do not get along. This is why I need to rehome him.He is good with other dogs. It just takes some time and and an experienced owner. He loves walks, rides in cars, and sleeping under the covers. He is 8 years old. So, he doesn't need a lot of training per say.I just want him to go to great home with someone ho will love him as much as I do.About 70 pounds. Pretty big boy but acts like a lap dog. I'd prefer someone again who is experienced. He's still available and waiting!

Story
This is Bodhi. 8 year old pit/boxer mix. About 70 plus pounds. Loves walks, cuddles, and giving kisses. He is brindle. I've had him since he was a puppy. He is good with other dogs. Just takes him a bit to get use to them. He needs a new home and someone experienced. I hope someone takes interest. Unfortunately I cannot keep him. One too many dogs. Thanks in advance.

Story
🌟 Meet Quinn: The Adventurous Pibble with the goofiest ears 🌟 🌟 Name: Quinn 🎂 Age: 4-6 years old 🐶 Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix 🥌 Weight: 50 lbs 💉 Vaccination Status: Quinn is up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines, as well as her Heartworm/ Tick Bourne Disease screen, until April 2027 ensuring her continued health and well-being. She has been dewormed, and is up to date on Heartworm, and Flea & Tick prevention. 🏡 Ideal Home: Quinn is seeking an adventurous family to keep up on her daily walks. She could make a great running/hiking partner as she likes to be active. Quinn wouldn't mind someone who goes to work or stays home. But wherever you are, she'll be ready for snuggles at the end of the night. 🐕 Compatibility: Quinn gets along well other dogs. She would not do good in a home with cats or small animals. Quinn isn't being fostered with children at this time. She does seem to pick men over women but loves both when they give her pets. 👂 Special Needs: Quinn currently takes hip & joint supplements because she's an older gal, but you'd never know it. She does have some lumps and bumps, but her veterinarian is currently not worried about them. ✂️ Grooming: Minimal 🐾 Training: Quinn will make a great companion as you build trust with her. She does know a few commands and is working on her leash walking which is currently managed by appropriate gear and snacks. Quinn is such a deserving gal. She has come so far since being in foster care and out of a high intake shelter. If you'd interested in meeting Quinn, please fill out an application on our website 👇🏽 Apply here: https://linktr.ee/uudogrescue We run a foster to adopt program which guarantees you with the dog for 2 weeks before committing 100% to forever.
