Hi! I’m Marley, and I’m a happy, goofy, and energetic boy who’s always ready to play! I came here from Tennessee, and I bring a whole lot of enthusiasm wherever I go. I absolutely love people and I’m very affectionate! I don’t mind being handled at all, though I can get pretty wiggly when I’m excited. I’m still working on my manners — sometimes I get jumpy and pull on leash, and I may grab the leash when I’m feeling extra amped up — but I’m smart, attentive, and I love treats, so training sounds like a blast to me! Toys are one of my favorite things, especially fluffy stuffies! I get excited during playtime, but I’m overall very gentle! I’d do best in a home with another playful dog and sturdy kids who can keep up with my energy. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog who’s ready to learn and be your adventure buddy, I think we’d be a great match! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 51.4 Age: 1yrs 0mths 0wks

All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. December 4, 2025, 4:16 pm

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 12/3/2025 Dog Name: Neveah Sex: Female Estimated Breed: American Bully mix Approximate Age: 1.5 years Approximate Weight: 60 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description:  Meet Neveah: A Sweet Soul Looking for Her Forever Family Sometimes, the most special souls come wrapped in unexpected stories. Meet Neveah, a beautiful young adult dog with a heart full of love—and a heart that needs a little extra care. Despite being born with a congenital condition called Subaortic Stenosis (SAS), Neveah is full of life. She's playful, affectionate, and friendly with everyone she meets. Her tail wags tell a story of hope, resilience, and the simple joy of being a dog.   SAS is a genetic heart condition that creates a narrowing below the aortic valve in the heart. This obstructs the blood flow from the left ventricle causing stress on the heart muscle. For Neveah, this means her heart must work harder than it should, and unfortunately, it most likely will shorten her lifespan. But here's the important part: Neveah doesn't know any of that. She just knows how to live in the moment - chasing toys, nuzzling into soft blankets, and leaning in for love. While there is no cure for Subaortic Stenosis, medication can help manage her condition, and a follow-up with a cardiologist in about six months will help monitor her heart health. Symptoms of SAS can include lethargy, such as exercise intolerance, fainting, or even difficulty breathing. ** As of now, Neveah has not demonstrated any of these symptoms. She has only presented with a heart murmur. As Neveah grew, so did the stenosis and her heart murmur increased. And that's where you come in. We're searching for a compassionate, caring family who can give Neveah the one thing she needs most: a home filled with love where she can get lots of attention. She deserves to live her days not in a kennel, but in a yard with sunshine, a home with snuggles, and a heart-your heart-that's open to giving a dog like her a chance to just be a dog. Neveah is ready. Ready to love. Ready to live. Are you ready to meet her? Giving her a home might not change her prognosis —but it will absolutely change her world.   A little more about Neveah: I love toys, cucumbers, and most importantly being with you! I'm a total velcro girlie who wants to do ALL the things with you. I'm always ready for an adventure in the car or on a walk, and I'm a great snuggler too. I'm still young, so I'm working on not letting my excitement get the best of me, but I'm really just a super happy girl looking for someone to give me a warm home (I'm not 100% sure about the snow... sometimes I play, but sometimes I don't like to be in it) and a loving person to hang out with. I am already housebroken and crate trained plus I do great in the car!   Adoption Fee: FREEWe are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. Story
✨ Meet Jewel — a 5-year-old, 70 lb mix with a heart as precious as her name! ✨Jewel is the definition of a gentle soul. She’s sweet, happy, and wonderfully friendly — the kind of dog who melts right into your side for snuggles and makes any house instantly feel like home. She settled into her foster home almost seamlessly, even after arriving confused and unsure. Now she’s blooming with confidence and showing just how much love she has to give.Jewel is affectionate, loyal, playful and friendly with other dogs and children. She is house trained, leash trained, knows sit and come, she’s an experienced lady! Jewel came to rescue through no fault of her own — her previous family had nothing but kind words to say about her. She’s ready for a fresh start and would thrive in a home filled with love. A family with kids or other dogs would be wonderful, but Jewel’s gentle nature makes her a great fit for many households. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be part of your world, Jewel will shine in your life every single day. Consider giving this sweet girl the forever home she truly deserves. 💛Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. Story
Hi, I’m Louie! I’m a young, high-energy guy who came to the shelter because my previous family didn’t have the time to give me the training and structure I need. I’ll be honest—I’ve got a lot of enthusiasm and some anxious moments, but with the right outlet and guidance, I’ve got so much potential. Right now I’m a bit reserved and still figuring things out here, so I’ll need a patient adopter who understands that it may take me some time to feel fully comfortable and show my true personality. Once I do, I’m going to thrive with a family that’s committed to giving me plenty of exercise, attention, and consistent training. I’m still working on my manners, especially jumping and getting mouthy, but that’s mostly because I’m young and full of energy. With clear boundaries and a routine, I can absolutely improve. I’ve lived with kids before and did well, but given my jumpiness, I’d do best with sturdy kids who can handle my excitement. I’ve also lived with cats. I can get a bit over-excited and may chase or bark at them, so any feline roommates would need careful management and understanding. In the future, I could live with a calm, respectful dog who can help boost my confidence. If you’re an active, patient person looking for a dog you can really invest time and training into, I might be your guy. I’m ready to learn, grow, and build a strong bond with my future family. Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 49.2 Age: 0yrs 10mths 0wks

Story
Hi there! I’m Lucy — a lovable ham with a heart full of sunshine! I’m just one of those dogs who’s happy to be with you, no matter what we’re doing. Whether we’re going for a short walk, playing a little, or just curling up on the couch, I’m content as long as I’ve got you by my side! I came to the shelter after my previous owner’s health declined, and I’ve been here for a bit now without much interest. I don’t really understand why — I adore people and have so much love left to give! I’d prefer not to share my home with other animals, though. I want to be your one and only — and honestly, I’m all you’ll ever need! I’m gentle and sweet with children and would absolutely love a home with some kids to dote on me. I don’t need much to be happy — a short walk, a cozy bed, and someone to love are all this senior girl’s heart desires. Please don’t let me spend my golden years in the shelter. I have so much love, loyalty, and joy to give — I just need someone to take a chance on me! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 55.8 Age: 9yrs 1mths 1wks
