Story
Blue is an amazing puppy. He is 7 months old on 12/23/25. He has been socialized with other dogs since the age of nine weeks. He has gone to a large doggy daycare at least twice a week since he was nine weeks old. He has also gone through two entire classes at a dog training program. He walks well on a leash and has had daily walks since 9 weeks old. He has consistently been walked on our left side so that is what he’s used to. He does really well with adults. He is kennel trained and has slept in a kennel since he was 8 weeks old. The problem is that he does not like little kids and I have young grandchildren that are over 10 days a month. He has growled at them numerous times and has also jumped on them and knocked them down. He needs to be in a home with no small children.

Story
Hi! I'm Marley, and I'm a happy, goofy, and energetic boy who's always ready to play! I came here from Tennessee, and I bring a whole lot of enthusiasm wherever I go. I absolutely love people and I'm very affectionate! I don't mind being handled at all, though I can get pretty wiggly when I'm excited. I'm still working on my manners - sometimes I get jumpy and pull on leash, and I may grab the leash when I'm feeling extra amped up - but I'm smart, attentive, and I love treats, so training sounds like a blast to me! Toys are one of my favorite things, especially fluffy stuffies! I get excited during playtime, but I'm overall very gentle! I'd do best in a home with another playful dog and sturdy kids who can keep up with my energy. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog who's ready to learn and be your adventure buddy, I think we'd be a great match! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 51.4 Age: 1yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Hi, I’m Shadow! I was originally adopted as a puppy but came back through no fault of my own. I’m pretty much a perfect boy - I get along with kids and people of all ages, I love other dogs, and I’m well-mannered, fun, and sweet! Plus, have you SEEN my ears? Show-stoppers! I have just the right mix of energy and cuddliness, so I’m as happy going for a walk as I am curling up on the couch for snuggles! I’m smart, love to explore, and I would thrive with a doggy sibling to share adventures and playtime with. I’d make a wonderful companion for virtually any household. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate dog, I might just be the one for you! Come take me home and out of the shelter for good! Primary Color: Black Weight: 57 Age: 0yrs 11mths 1wks

Story
I rescued Jayda almost 7 years ago, I adopted her at the Fox Valley Humane Society. She was part of a neglect and abuse case in TN. Now she’s almost 10 years old, she’s very much an alpha. She’s a sweet, cuddly, love bug that loves to lay on the couch all day. She would prefer to be the only dog in the house or with small dogs/cats. Within the last year my boyfriend and I moved in together, he also has two large dogs. One of my boyfriend’s dogs is very much an alpha as well. Jayda and him have never gotten along together. Constantly growling and displays of dominance to each other. We try to keep them separated as much as possible but we live in a small house. When our daughter came along we were nervous of how Jayda would react with the now constant noise. Every time our daughter would cry Jayda would run off into our bedroom and non stop shake. She would be in our room for hours and never come out for hours. Our household has become to stressful for her. Please contact me with any ?

Story
🌟 Meet Morris: Three legs, 1 giant head, and unlimited snuggles🌟 🌟 Name: Morris (formally Carnival at (MADACC)) 🎂 Age: 4 (ish) 🐶 Breed: Terrier mix 🥌 Weight: 65 lbs and gaining 💉 Vaccination Status: Morris is neutered, up to date on rabies, distemper, bordatella vaccines, heartworm testing & prevention ensuring his continued health and well-being. 🏡 Ideal Home: Morris is seeking a home with toys to chew and a couch to snuggle on. He is a medium energy boy who loves his walks (we are working on increasing his endurance after his amputation), enjoys playing fetch in the yard and a good roll in the grass. After a bit of exercise he is ready to snuggle- and he’s the best at it! He can almost be found with one of “emotional support” stuffed toys in his mouth- especially when he’s excited! 🐕 Compatibility: Morris gets along well his canine foster sister and enjoys playing tug and fetch. He does hog the human snuggles from her, but she doesn’t mind. He also gets along well with children, but due to his size, we feel he would do best with older kids. Morris has a high prey drive, so he will need a home without cats. 👂 Special Needs: Due to Morris’ front leg amputation he will need to be on high quality joint supplements for life. Maintaining a healthy weight will be key to his mobility. ✂️ Grooming: He has the softest short coat with minimal grooming requirements. Just occasional brushing and a bath (which he does great with at home). 🐾 Training: Morris has an excellent start with his training. He is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands such as “sit”, “down”, “off”, and even still gives “paw” despite only having 1 front leg! He is THE PERFECT DOG! Story
Blue is a very smart, sweet, loving dog. He loves kids and grew up with young children in the home. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down. Anytime someone is sitting down he will curl up and snuggle. He loves to play but he is not too high energy as he also loves napping. The only time he has ever been aggressive is if he has a bone and another dog or person tries to take it away he growls but has never bitten anybody even my children who play a little rough with him. He is used to being in a kennel during the day when everyone is gone. He is really a great dog, unfortunately our family is extremely busy and not able to be home much. It hurts us that we do not have enough time at home with him. We believe he deserves better and someone that can give him the time and attention he needs.
