All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. December 4, 2025, 4:16 pm

Story
Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 12/3/2025 Dog Name: Neveah Sex: Female Estimated Breed: American Bully mix Approximate Age: 1.5 years Approximate Weight: 60 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description:  Meet Neveah: A Sweet Soul Looking for Her Forever Family Sometimes, the most special souls come wrapped in unexpected stories. Meet Neveah, a beautiful young adult dog with a heart full of love—and a heart that needs a little extra care. Despite being born with a congenital condition called Subaortic Stenosis (SAS), Neveah is full of life. She's playful, affectionate, and friendly with everyone she meets. Her tail wags tell a story of hope, resilience, and the simple joy of being a dog.   SAS is a genetic heart condition that creates a narrowing below the aortic valve in the heart. This obstructs the blood flow from the left ventricle causing stress on the heart muscle. For Neveah, this means her heart must work harder than it should, and unfortunately, it most likely will shorten her lifespan. But here's the important part: Neveah doesn't know any of that. She just knows how to live in the moment - chasing toys, nuzzling into soft blankets, and leaning in for love. While there is no cure for Subaortic Stenosis, medication can help manage her condition, and a follow-up with a cardiologist in about six months will help monitor her heart health. Symptoms of SAS can include lethargy, such as exercise intolerance, fainting, or even difficulty breathing. ** As of now, Neveah has not demonstrated any of these symptoms. She has only presented with a heart murmur. As Neveah grew, so did the stenosis and her heart murmur increased. And that's where you come in. We're searching for a compassionate, caring family who can give Neveah the one thing she needs most: a home filled with love where she can get lots of attention. She deserves to live her days not in a kennel, but in a yard with sunshine, a home with snuggles, and a heart-your heart-that's open to giving a dog like her a chance to just be a dog. Neveah is ready. Ready to love. Ready to live. Are you ready to meet her? Giving her a home might not change her prognosis —but it will absolutely change her world.   A little more about Neveah: I love toys, cucumbers, and most importantly being with you! I'm a total velcro girlie who wants to do ALL the things with you. I'm always ready for an adventure in the car or on a walk, and I'm a great snuggler too. I'm still young, so I'm working on not letting my excitement get the best of me, but I'm really just a super happy girl looking for someone to give me a warm home (I'm not 100% sure about the snow... sometimes I play, but sometimes I don't like to be in it) and a loving person to hang out with. I am already housebroken and crate trained plus I do great in the car!   Adoption Fee: FREEWe are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. Story
💔 Meet Rae. Rescued with her 5 babies, this 3-year-old survivor has blossomed into the sweetest, most loyal companion. ⭐ Adoption Fee: 100% Sponsored! ⭐ Includes 3 Free In-Home Training Sessions (location dependent) *⭐ Comes with a Doggy Gift Bag Worth Over $100! Rae is a 3-year-old sweetheart who’s equal parts playful and snuggly! Her favorite things include hanging out with her people, getting endless belly rubs, chasing balls in the yard, showering her humans with kisses, and curling up under a blanket for movie night. She also adores her stuffies and chew toys — simple joys for this lovable potato! 🥔💛 Rae is fully potty-trained and crate-trained, and she’s already had some professional training too. She lives with two canine foster siblings and gets along well with them, though she can be a bit reactive on leash around unfamiliar dogs. She’s been working hard with her trainer and making great progress! With the included 3 free in-home training sessions, her future family will have the perfect opportunity to keep her growth going strong. Rae would thrive as the only pet in a home with adults or older children. She’s affectionate, loyal, and ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and snuggles. 🐾 Rae is truly a gem — any family would be lucky to have her! Rae is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and protected from fleas, ticks, and heart-worms. ***Please note*** Unless otherwise specified, the breeds listed are our best guess based on appearance. We typically do not know the breed of the dogs

Story
Bikini came to us from a small rural shelter where her chances of getting out were very slim. She is a 2 yr old pit/catahoula mix and don’t let her breeds fool you. She’s a total couch potato! She has her moments of zoomies but they don’t last long. While she does live in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, she is the queen bee and can be a little bossy so she is looking for a home with no other dogs. She loves all people she meets and she is potty trained and crate trained. She has good doggie manners but needs some work on her leash training. She is a puller on the leash but we’ve seen a lot of improvement with the ez walk harness. Bikini is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, heartworm test and spay. If you are interested in adopting Bikini complete the adoption application at the link below.
