Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Travis is about 8 months old and is a very sweet cat at heart. He is shy but curious, he wants to be loved but he doesn’t want you to know that. It will take time to build trust with him. Although he is quite reserved, he is not mean or hostile. He’s never bitten or scratched anyone. As for other cats, he gets along well with females, but not males (This might be because he isn’t neutered - but to be clear, he never starts any fights. It’s the other cat who picks on him). Travis has not yet been to the vet due to an illness/death in the family, which is also the reason we need to find a new home for him.

Story
Linus is a one-year-old short-haired handsome boy. Linus's life started out rough, being feral for the first two months of his life. Linus is at a foster home, not at our shelter. His foster says "Linus has adjusted well with human contact and other cats. He is extremely shy at times, but does like attention and accept pets on his terms. He loves food, treats and is very playful with the rest of the cat clan. Linus will do well as a solo pet or with other cats, but will need time to adjust to his new surroundings in any situation. Linus has not been introduced to dogs or children and not sure how he would react to either." Linus is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and healthy. His adoption fee is $175. Story
This handsome boy is Domino. He is 2-years-old and weighs 9.2 lb. Domino is at a foster home, not at our shelter. His foster says "Life hasn't been easy for Domino. He came from a life on the streets where he and his colony eeked out a living until someone started poisoning them. Fortunately the wonderful group of ladies who had been feeding them called me and with the support of DAWS, I trapped all 7 including Domino. All but Dom and Magpie have found their forever homes. Domino came in terrified, hiding under the bed and panicked. But over the months he is learning to trust. Now he comes running when it's time to eat and sits nearby patiently waiting. He is sleeping on the couch now and stays put when I walk by. And last week...he let me touch him. Now Domino has actually started to play with the wand toy and takes food off a spoon I was holding. He's ready. Ready to take a chance. Ready to trust. Ready to find his match in this game of life. Can you be the Domino that finds his perfect partner?" Domino is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and healthy. His adoption fee is $175. If you would like to meet/adopt Domino, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Story
This adorable kitten is Dewdrop. She is a 12-week-old girl with a soft shorthaired black coat. Dewdrop is at a foster home, not at our shelter. Her foster says "Dewdrop is my timid one. She's not a lap cat and doesn't care to be held. She LOVES playing. Dewdrop is the bravest when it comes to stalking her toys or siblings. She gets the zoomies. Dewdrop does well with all my cats, I don't think kids or a dog would be a good fit for her. She does like to sleep on the couch next to you. I think she would do best with a sibling or having another cat in the house." Dewdrop is vaccinated for age, microchipped and healthy. She will be spayed before adoption. Her adoption fee is $225.
