Story
Would like for her and her sister Mia to go together. And maybe her mom willow too. Good friendly cats just don't have the means anymore. Needs a clean home. Other animals are fine as long as they are not full of energy and Will chase them. All are fixed and healthy. Her and mom are fat rolly polly cats. Name noodles cause when you pick her up she is like a limp noodle. Love getting bellies rubbed. Sister Mia is little squirrely but friendly little cuddles too. Noodles loves to lay on your leg when sitting.

Story
Ember is a lovable 2 yr. old, spayed cat. She was house raised. I got her from a litter my brother-in-law had. Ember, would love someone to play with and cuddle with. I have a busy life and need to simplify my life a bit financially. I love her and will miss her but I will feel better about it if she is going to a loving home. She had all her shots when she was spayed a year ago. I have not had her to a vet since then. She has always been an indoor cat.

Story
Smokey has been recently diagnosed with diabetes and needs insulin shots. My family is struggling financially and can not keep up with the vet visits he needs. We are also not home enough to guarantee he gets his shots on a routine basis. He is suffering because of this. I hope someone out there has the heart and the time to give him the best life, I'm sad that I do not.

Story
This is Kaida. I got her on 9/29/2024 when she was about 10 wks old. She is spayed and UTD on all vaccines including boosters, deworming, and rabies. She is cuddly, loving, and attention seeking with a huge personality and zero respect for personal space. She waits in the window for me to get home, runs to the couch for her required greeting kiss, and will follow you, strangers included, yelling until you comply. Privacy does not exist. Bathroom trips are group events and she will sit on your lap like it is her job. She has severe FOMO, demands head scratches. She is also very bougie. Seafood wet food only and it must be shreds or chunks. Fridays are spa night with grooming, nails, and collar selection. Her litter box must be cleaned twice daily or she will protest right next to it. She prefers the loudest toy at 3 a.m. and is emotionally intuitive, alerting you if someone is upset. Ideal home. Calm, loving adult home, no small kids, fine with dogs. ***ASK WHY REHOMING***

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! HI! Im Sushi! I showed up on the Ranch property with my brother Billy. I was a little shy and nervous at first, but once I got comfortable my personality started to shine! I love people and love to play! String toys are my favorite. I am an expert cuddler and love giving head bumps to my favorite people! Im a little unsure of those things that they call dogs so I prefer a home either without them or a cat savvy dog with people who understand slow, steady and controlled introductions. Im fine with other kitties, but again, would need a person who understands slow and steady introductions. Wouldn't it be PAWSOME if Billy and I could go together since he's my Bestie?  Please won't you give me a home to call my own??Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! I am the sweetest little girl EVER!  I didn't have anyone love me and I found myself pregnant and alone. I was scared and I had no where to go. I had my babies alone under a deck :(  Finally someone saw me and my babies and called 2nd Chance, but unfortunately by then I had lost one of my babies :(  Now my 3 other little ones and me are safe in the arms of 2nd Chance. I'm spayed, housetrained, had my shots and am super sweet. I love kids but I am not fond of dogs. I can tolerate cats but would prefer to be an only pet. I am ready for someone to love me FUREVERVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5.
