Story
Nina is a nearly five-year-old female short-hair cat with velvety soft fur. She has black and white tuxedo markings on her lower body and calico markings on her back and upper body. She is a very sweet girl who loves being petted and who also appreciates her quiet time and watching family activities without engaging. Nina's favorite sleeping place is in her foster Mom's bed or the chair next to the bed. Nina has the softest, squeakiest meow that she uses to signal she wants your attention and to be petted. She loves to play with the laser toy and nap next to her foster siblings. Nina has not been exposed to children or dogs she has not demonstrated any aggressive behavior to date with humans. She gets along very well with the other cats in her foster home. Nina had a full medical work up and she has no health issues at this time, She tested negative for FIV/FeLV and she is spayed. You can call Jayne at: 703-457-0603 to learn more about Nina. It is the Shadow Cat Advocate adoption policy that our adopted cats cannot be declawed or allowed outdoors. Are you ready for a cuddle companion? Mr. Tarzan is just the kitty for you. He was discovered hanging around a feral colony and was begging for attention. After searching for weeks for his owners with no results he is now in foster care. Mr. Tarzan loves attention and being petted. Lots of purrs going on with him. Mr. Tarzan is a senior kitty (approximately 12 years old). He would love to be your buddy. Mr. Tarzan is fully vaccinated, is negative for FIV and FeLV, is spayed, and microchipped. He has had his rabies shot and is an indoor only cat. It is a SCA policy that our cats cannot be declawed or allowed to go outside. Story
Merlin was adopted when he was only 2 months. Now he is 2 years old. He is a great cat. Love to take naps and sit in the sun infront of our front door or in the backyard. He loves to be pet and loves playing with the kids. Due to overseas travel we have found it difficult to find him shelter since we can't take him with us. It is a very difficult decision that we delayed for a while and the kids are not happy with it but we had no choice. Will only consider serious adopters who can take a great care of Merlin.
