Story
Just as the moon was full in the sky, there was a clanging sound: the trap had been triggered. Upon inspection, the trapper was shocked; instead of the intended stray dog, she had caught a pretty little kitty with chicken McNuggets. For obvious reasons, the gray-and-white bicolor cutie was named Moonie McNugget and was sent for spay and vaccinations. Although she was a bit shy, Moonie seemed to be friendly. With ample time for decompression, Moonie McNugget has come out of her shell, seeking out pets and hanging out with the resident cats in her foster home. Moonie could be the center of your universe or join a home with friendly cats--as long as you're willing to give her time to get comfortable. Then, she might even agree to lounge in your shirt pocket!

Story
Cleo is a mama cat through and through—warm, attentive, and completely devoted to the people she loves. Shy at first but quick to warm up, and never one to hiss at a human, she'll greet you by rubbing against your legs before settling down nearby and patiently waiting for attention. Cleo is an absolute sweetie, even grooming a juvenile kitten who wasn't her own but who was very scared and shaking. If you make a kissing sound in Cleo's direction, she'll answer with a head bunt kiss. Sweet, affectionate, and deeply loyal, Cleo is the kind of cat who turns a house into a home. She deserves a soft landing after everything she's given, and she'll repay the kindness tenfold.

Story
May May does not get along with other cats and would be better off as the only pet in the home. She is somewhere between 6 and 7 years old and very affectionate, but only on her terms. She does not like being carried or held, or having her nails trimmed. She is overweight (work in progress), and needs some dental work, but otherwise healthy.

Story
Winnie is a very sweet girl! She is somewhere between 6 and 7 years old, spayed, and fairly quiet. She loves to be petted and will even pat your shoulder if you do not immediately give her the attention she wants. She does not like to be held, but will occasionally climb into your lap for attention. She is overweight (work in progress with the vet), but otherwise healthy. She would be better as the only pet in the home, because she was not socialized properly.

Story
💙 Looking for a loving home for Reggie (Ashburn, VA) 💙 This is a post I never thought I'd have to write, but I'm moving overseas and, after a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision that rehoming my cat is what's best for him. Reggie is a big, handsome black cat (6 years old / about 22 lbs!). He's incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. If you're home, he'll probably be nearby. He's playful, sweet, and has so much personality. His ideal home would be with someone who is home often and is looking for a true companion. He's an indoor-only cat and really thrives on human interaction. This has been an incredibly hard decision, so I'm looking for the right home, not just the first one. If you think Reggie might be a good fit for your family, or if you have any questions, please send me a message.
