Leo is a very fun and loving cat. He is energetic and clingy. He would love to roam around in a huge house but he doesn’t mind something small.

Story
Rita is an energetic and playful girl about 1.5 years old. She was found underweight and pregnant on the streets last summer and a few months later became mom to 3 healthy kittens. Although she did a great job taking care of her babies Rita is glad she has been spayed and will not be having any more litters. After some TLC this gorgeous little girl is ready to find her forever home. She loves being an indoor cat but does not love other animals and needs to be an only pet. Rita enjoys playing with her feather wand, chasing balls, watching birds, and cuddling up next to her humans. If you have any questions or are interested in adopting Rita please send me a message!

Story
Hi, I'm Ozzie! I'm a little guy--I weigh only 7-8 pounds--but I have a big personality, and I'm healthy and beautiful! A wonderful family adopted me as a kitten and I have lived with them ever since, but now the kids are grown and moved away, one of my owners died last year, my other owner will be spending a lot of time traveling--and I don't like to travel! I like attention--when I want it: sometimes I crave your immediate affection, other times I don't, and I'll let you know which it is at the moment! I have a nice clear voice so I can let you know what I want! But I'm low-maintenance overall. Besides my owner, I currently live with my (litter mate) cat brother, Cooper, and a dog whom I mostly ignore. I've lived with Cooper my entire life, but he isn't always very nice to me, so I think I would be happier if I were the only cat in my new home. My human brother is planning to adopt Cooper, so this could work out well!

Story
Rehoming Two Very Affectionate Cats I am faced with the difficult decision of finding a new home for my two sweetheart cats. They are two years old and from the same litter. Healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Due to financial circumstances, I am moving in with my family, where there is a dog that is aggressive towards cats. To ensure their safety and well-being, I am seeking a kind, safe, and loving home where they can continue to thrive together. Please see the attached photos. If you are interested in providing a forever home for Moose and Bao, or if you know of someone who might be, please reach out to me at the email provided. Your kindness and assistance in spreading the word are greatly appreciated. Gratefully, Isabel

Story
Noiree was a stray I fed outside for many months and she ended up giving birth to several kittens on my porch in Dec. I took them inside for the winter where she has been adapting to inside life while taking incredible care of her kittens. Noiree is about 2 years ago. She is not yet a lap cat but loves to sit close by and loves to be petted. With proper care and love- she is now just stunning - beautiful coat, healthy weight and has a cute personality. She is very much an indoor/outdoor cat and will thrive in a home with a yard, not near a busy street where she can go in and out at some points in the day. She does not wander too far but needs to ‘smell the roses’. She can be a bit fearful of loud noises and will take some time to warm up to visitors and strangers. Due to many environmental hazards near my house, I am not able to keep her unfortunately. Also, she must be adopted along with her kitten- Bear Cub - whom she is very close and bonded with. Please see his page for more info.

Story
Originally from ATL, Pierre was the “runt” of his litter as he was discovered running across a street at 4-6wks old. From there, he was rescued and lived with me and my roommate as an only pet for a few weeks before we formally adopted another cat around his age. They got along well and he continued to grow into an energetic boy that LOVED outside. He has been an indoor cat for the most part but has been indoor/outdoor in the last months of his time in ATL. He’s lived with other cats but truly only got along with his sister (the aforementioned cat) and cats smaller/younger than him. He has lived with two other boy cats and I believe that caused him to start spraying in the house. He was removed from that situation but didn’t stop peeing outside the litter box. He moved up to DC with me in October/November of 2023 because of his challenges with peeing outside of the litter box and he still does it. I’ve concluded that it’s behavioral and he’s willingly doing this. Idk what else to do.

Story
Kara and Kathy are 3 year old sisters. They need a new home. They have been together from birth, so it would be great if you could take the both of them, but we understand if you can only take one. Kara is the cat that has a bit of orange in her coat. She is fiesty and curious, and she loves to cuddle. Kathy is the cat that is mostly gray and black. She enjoys eating and alone time, but once you have her trust, she will give you cuddles every-so-often. They are both very good with children. They are micro-chipped and spayed, but they are a couple of years behind on their vaccines. We have a dog which the cats are not getting along with and we want to see them happy in a home where they are comfortable. Please let me know what questions you have about them.
