Story
Gracie is a healthy, affectionate indoor cat who brings a sense of calm and comfort to any home. She has a very gentle, soothing presence and loves to quietly follow her person from room to room, always nearby but never demanding. She especially enjoys lying near your feet and relaxing by your side, happy just to be close and share quiet time together. Gracie is not an adventurous outdoor cat; she strongly prefers being indoors and is very well‑suited to a relaxed, low‑stress household. Adopted from a shelter in 2018, Gracie has been a deeply loving and comforting companion for many years, offering emotional warmth and steady companionship. She would be an ideal match for someone looking for a calm, affectionate friend who appreciates soft voices, gentle attention, and peaceful routines The only reason she needs a new home is that an elderly family member with severe cat allergies has recently moved in, and despite medications and air purifiers, the symptoms have not improved.

Story
Just as the moon was full in the sky, there was a clanging sound: the trap had been triggered. Upon inspection, the trapper was shocked; instead of the intended stray dog, she had caught a pretty little kitty with chicken McNuggets. For obvious reasons, the gray-and-white bicolor cutie was named Moonie McNugget and was sent for spay and vaccinations. Although she was a bit shy, Moonie seemed to be friendly. With ample time for decompression, Moonie McNugget has come out of her shell, seeking out pets and hanging out with the resident cats in her foster home. Moonie could be the center of your universe or join a home with friendly cats--as long as you're willing to give her time to get comfortable. Then, she might even agree to lounge in your shirt pocket!

Story
Annie is from Massachusetts. My uncle found her outside the greenhouse of the soldier's home where he lived. He sheltered her in his room, feeding her from a baby bottle. Little Orphan Annie roamed the hallways, meowing at residents and riding the elevator. The men would gift my uncle with toys, treats, and food for their hall mascot. Annie wasn't affectionate with anyone but my uncle, and then only after he'd gone to bed. She'd jump up on his chest, ready for cheek rubs and back pats, purring loudly. My uncle was distraught when the new administration said pets were not allowed. He flew down from Boston with Annie in a carrier, and came to visit her every Thanksgiving. She's lived with me for 11 years. Annie likes to sleep on my bed, sit next to me on the arm of the sofa, and to be petted on her own terms by rubbing her face against my hand. She is vocal, plays with a laser, feather, or pencil; and would thrive in a quiet home where she can bond with 1-4 people.

Story
Liam is a very affectionate, sweet and well behaved 4.5 year old. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Liam loves to snuggle and come up for nose kisses and scratches behind the ears or his tummy. He's a little shy at first but takes to new people quickly. Liam purrs continuously with his humans and communicates volumes with his expressive eyes and little meows. Very well behaved and eager to please - no litterbox or behavior issues. Liam’s just a gentle soul and a really great cat. He was adopted from a shelter at 4 mo old. His overall health is good, however Liam was diagnosed with IBS and requires prescription food, and during an occasional IBS flares up a day or two of inexpensive prescription oral steroids (no diarrhea with his IBS). I hate to give Liam up, but my significant other is highly allergic so we can’t give him the attention he deserves. Liam needs a new home that will love and treasure him.

Story
I adopted Skunk about 1.5 years ago, from the Humane Society in Oklahoma City. His profile said he was approximately 12 years old at the time. When I picked him up, he was hiding in his room. Upon arrival at my home (with one other female cat) I kept him separated in my guest room. Each day I went in to try to pet him and give him attention, but he never received it well. Once I allowed him to have free range of my home, he continued to hide under the bed, only coming out at night to use the litter box and eat. My female cat was not and still is not fond of him. Since my husband and I moved to Virginia we put her in our bedroom at night to allow Skunk to come out and be a cat. We believe he will do best as the only animal in the home, with someone who is quieter. He will most likely start to come out during the day and be more social!
