Story
Meet Lucy, she is a 2 year old American Stafford Terrier mix. She's loving and patient and super smart. She knows tricks like, Stay, Leave It, Wait, Turn Around, Lie Down, and Shake and I'm sure she can learn many more. She enjoys playtime with other dogs but is initially shy with people unless they too have a furry friend. Lucy would thrive in a home with another canine companion. Fully vaccinated and spayed. If you have a dog-friendly home and heart, Lucy would love to join your family. Please reach out to arrange a meeting and offer Lucy a forever home.

Story
Our sweet and adorable Bruno Bear almost didn't make it out of the shelter alive as he was scheduled to be euthanized for "aggressive behavior." We are STILL reeling over this fact. He is so beyond gentle and sweet, and (as you can see from his pics) all he wants is love and affection. Within hours of being saved from death row, he was rolling in the backyard grass at his foster home, clearly taking it all in that he had just been saved. He loves his foster sister Mochi, cheese, and going for walks. As he is only around 3 years old with no training, we are working on his leash pulling and also not jumping up when he gets too excited. He is working with a trainer weekly and is getting better every single day. He has been an excellent house guest in every way! We can't wait to find Bruno's forever home and family, this guy absolutely deserves to find his "happily ever after." Could it be with you?

Story
UPDATE:  Cooper is now walking and we have retired his wheelchair!! Cooper  is the sweetest, most determined puppy. When we rescued Cooper, he was not using his back legs. He is receiving acupuncture and laser therapy. We don't know if Cooper will walk again, but we are seeing improvements, and he has recently been standing on his own and has taken a few steps as well.  He gets along great in his wheelchair, donated by  ChetakStrong ).   He is really a sweet, friendly, and lovable dog.  He is an excellent snuggle buddy who loves curling up on the couch with you.  Cooper travels nicely in the car.    Energy Level?  Typical puppy: loves to play and then naps to recover. House trained?  Yes, Cooper can poop and pee on his own. He can hold it all night and pees first thing in the morning when he goes out in his wheelchair.  He is learning to give us clues when he needs to go potty.  We take him out in the chair to potty regularly.  Describe how they are on leash?  He loves walking alongside you in his chair and exploring the outdoors. He is a smart boy who can navigate the backyard in his chair. Describe how they are with other dogs?  Cooper is great with dogs, from 5-pound Chihuahuas to dogs the same size or larger.  He plays nicely, and it is very submissive.   Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Cooper was introduced to the resident cat. He was curious and wanted to play but backed off when warned. Supervision is advised. Commands they know?  Cooper knows "go potty."  He also knows his name. What are their favorite things?  Cooper is a loyal companion and loves being with you.  He loves toys and Kongs filled with treats. How are they when left alone?   How long have they been left alone?  Cooper is fine when left alone.  He is not destructive.  He has been left for 4 hours alone.   Where do they sleep?  Cooper sleeps either on his dog bed or in a crate. What is their ideal home?  Cooper is looking for a family or a person who is willing to support his needs and, in return, reap the benefits of all the love and companionship that Cooper has to offer. &#226&#128&#139 Cooper is well behaved and travels nicely in the car so he would love a person who takes him everywhere with them.  Our Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt  and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram . Story
We adopted Mochi in 2020 from the Humane Society Silicon Valley. She was 1 year old at that time described as loving, full of energy, but also able to be calm and chill out with you while watching tv on the couch. All of that was true, Mochi is a very special and loving dog, she's great with other dogs and humans. She has been professionally trained at Akina K9. As with all rescues, there are of course some challenges, for Mochi she does have anxiety when she's left alone (completely alone in a house), or when there are loud bangs i.e. fireworks. To combat the separation anxiety, we crate trained Mochi and it's super effective at providing her with the security she needs, same when there are loud bangs that cause her to want to hide. The reason we're rehoming her is that we recently had our first child and we're unable to give Mochi the attention and time that she needs/deserves. She would thrive in a home with a yard, or owners who can commit to taking her out for exercise.
