MEET MEERA! Meera is a beautiful and small 5-year-old blue & white American Staffordshire Terrier in need of a foster or forever home. She's short in stature and weighs only about 45 lbs. Meera is a loving and cuddly girl and would do great with a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. She loves car rides, and loves to go out and about and enjoy the sunshine. She is not a fan of other dogs, so needs to be the only dog in the home. However, she has not been leash reactive in her current location. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M JULIE! I'm a sweet 9-year-old Shar Pei/Staffie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for awhile for a home and that's a bit sad, but I'm still hopeful my person or people will come along. I only weigh about 52 lbs and am an affectionate snuggle bug. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in great athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! I also love the fresh air and the feeling of the sunshine on my back. Could you give me a chance and foster or adopt me?

Story
Looks like: Staffordshire Terrier mix Female, 6 years old (estimated), 70 pounds Miss Waddles is one vivacious house hippo who is looking for her new forever home! She is extremely friendly, greeting every person and pup with a wagging tail. Miss Waddles LOVES to cuddle and does not hesitate to flop onto her back for a belly rub. Our personal favorite quirk is that she will muster all of her strength to rest her paw on you as a gentle plea for pets. Miss Waddles is an easy-going girl who loves being around people but also does fine when left alone. According to our vet, she is on a weight loss journey to take pressure off her joints, and we are very excited for her to get all the attention and exercise she deserves in her new forever home. Miss Waddles joined us from Santa Clara Animal Services.

Story
Hi everybody! My name is Snow White, and I'm a spayed,  2-year-old, Staffordshire Terrier mix that currently weighs about 53lbs.I'm a silly, happy love bug who jumps for joy when meeting new people. I also enjoy 'talking' to my friends; I bark to say hello, and I bark when we're playing fetch, so you know when to throw the ball. I have a lot of energy, but once I've had my playtime and walk, I can't wait to be showered with affection. If you stop scratching me, I'll put my paw on your knee as a way of saying 'more, please!' Did I mention that I'm a very smart girl who excels at Nose Work? I can even find the treats they hide up high and I sit patiently to be rewarded. I'm the whole package: smart and pretty with tons of personality! Please be sure to bring in the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet me prior to adding me to the family. I'm hoping for a family with adults only or families with older children that are familiar with bully breeds like me and have experience teaching dogs how to share and be patient. For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Snow White ID# A946068 I recently went spent time with my PHS Volunteer friends! Here's how I did: Snow White wasn’t particularly interested in solitude or isolation; instead, she seemed more drawn to areas bustling with activity. Recognizing this preference, we turned back toward civilization and decided on a new plan: visiting The Home Depot just a few blocks away. At The Home Depot Garden Center, Snow White enjoyed sniffing lavender and rosemary plants while observing shoppers nearby. We explored various aisles together as she appeared intrigued by all sorts of items on display, filling her head with ideas for her dorm room. Her favorite stop was in the paint section—with a little help, she selected three paint chips. Throughout our visit to The Home Depot, Snow White remained calm and composed while navigating past shopping carts, people, and hardware. By this point in our outing, it seemed that shopping had captured Snow White’s interest far more than our earlier beach walk had.  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
This is Yara! She’s a great dog. She’s sweet, playful and so cuddly. She loves her food time and will wait patiently until her bowl is set down. She loves her toys and will just take them and play outside on the lawn. She loves meeting new people and isn’t shy. She’s house trained but sometimes now in the cold will not want to go outside (dont blame her there!) She loves looking out the window on car rides, walking on the leash. Sometimes if she gets a hold of the leash she’ll start wanting to play with it. She walks great, would be great as a running partner. She’s been in the same room as foster Moms cat and is curious but not aggressive. She easily leaves the room and forgets there is a cat. She does get very excited and will get right into your face all jumpy so we’re working on that. Yara is being fostered in Sacramento, CA. If you would like to meet Yara, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt
