Story
0321093 - Hi!  This sweet girl is Zoey (or "Zo Zo" as we call her in her foster home).  Zoey came to Colorado from New Mexico and is ready to find her forever home.  Zoey is a 4-5 year old boxer mix and weighs roughly 50lbs.  She is a very precious and sweet girl who loves affection, loves to give kisses and loves to get belly rubs.  She will follow you around the house to see what you are up to (and to be by your side).  She will also cuddle up next to you and let you love on her all day long!   Zoey is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps all night and likes to go on short leashed walks to take in the new sights and scents of Colorado.  She is also spayed and UTD on her vaccines.   Zoey has two foster doggy siblings.  Although they are all working on getting along, she is still a bit testy with them.  She may be happiest as an only dog, but if you have a mellow dog she may also do fine with a proper introduction to make sure that everyone gets along.  She has been introduced to her two kitty foster siblings, and doesn't show much interest so a home with cats would be fine.   Zoey would do best in calm environment where someone is home most of the day.  Zoey needs to be given the love and affection that she deserves and she promises to love and be grateful to you in return.   If you have the perfect home for this precious sweet pea, please fill out an adoption application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2083574##

Crosby is a sweet puppy who came to us from La Junta, Colorado. He landed there as a stray and was never reclaimed by an owner. Crosby is a 2-month-old bundle of pure chaos, energy, and love! This little guy is always ready for an adventure. He absolutely loves cuddles, showing off his tricks for treats, and chewing on pretty much anything hard enough to make a satisfying CRUNCH. His favorite reward? Training Star treats from Petco He loves to run but gets tired out quick!  Crosby is also obsessed with everyone he meets. He’s incredibly social, affectionate, and always excited to make a new friend. Whether he’s zooming around the room, learning a new trick, or curling up for some cuddles, Crosby is guaranteed to keep you entertained. Story
0626024 -  Meet Cole! Cole is a spunky 9-week-old pup with a big personality and an absolutely stunning brindle coat! His paperwork may say Shepherd mix, but we have a sneaking suspicion there could be a little Boxer or Pittie mixed into that adorable package, too. Cole is outgoing, social, and ready for FUN! He loves playing with just about every toy he can get his paws on, romping around, and—just like his brother Wyatt—splashing in the water! This little guy definitely knows how to make his own entertainment. Once Cole has gotten his puppy energy out, though, he’s more than happy to switch gears and snuggle up with his people for a well-earned nap. He’s the perfect combination of playful, confident, affectionate, and downright adorable! HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Susi is a 10-year-old pit bull mix with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. She was once adopted into a loving home, but sadly returned five years ago when her family had to move through no fault of her own. Despite the change, Susi’s spirit remains as playful and loving as ever. She is in a foster home and patiently waiting for her forever family to find her. This sweet girl is well-mannered, crate trained, and knows her commands: heel, place, stay, and come. She’s calm, affectionate, and happiest in a quiet home where she can truly relax. Susi loves her toys and delights in finding a sunny spot to stretch out and soak up the warmth, her version of pure bliss. She’s house-trained, well-mannered, and thrives in a peaceful home. Story
Meet Miss Eloise – The Sweetest Momma Dog Eloise is a true survivor and an inspiration to everyone who meets her. Her journey has been incredibly challenging, but through it all, she has remained gentle, loving, and full of heart. We tried to rescue Eloise directly from the LA shelter as she was scheduled to be euthanized, but she was adopted before we could get to her. Sadly, but with good intentions, the adopter brought home both Eloise and another dominant female Cane Corso. Without any gradual introduction or separation, a serious fight occurred between the two girls shortly after. Eloise, already exhausted and weakened from her past, received the worst of it and was unable to fully protect herself. Thankfully, we saw a post from the adopter asking for help, and within hours, one of our dedicated volunteers had her safely in our care. Eloise’s challenges didn’t end there. She had been bred nearly to the point of exhaustion, and after just one day with her foster mom, it was clear she was very sick. At the ER, we discovered she had injuries from the fight, pneumonia, pyometra, bilateral ACL tears, and a belly full of puppies. Her resilience is truly astonishing. Even after returning home from her first ER visit, she experienced setbacks and required multiple nights of IV fluids and medications. Through it all, Eloise has been nothing short of a champion, calm, sweet, and loving. Today, she’s thriving in her foster home. She has some pep in her step and a much happier dog. About Eloise • Personality: Gentle, affectionate, resilient, and loving • Health: Recovering from serious injuries and illnesses; thriving in foster care • Dog Compatibility: Not fully evaluated with other dogs due to her recovery. A quiet home with no other pets is ideal for now, though she may be compatible with a friendly male dog in the future after reassessment • Ideal Home: A calm, loving environment where she can feel safe, relax, and enjoy the affection she deserves Eloise has endured so much loss, neglect, and hardship. Now, she’s ready for a home forever where she can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished. Could your home be the perfect place for Miss Eloise to thrive?
