Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. Benny is incredibly loving, loves to be pet and cuddles. Food motivated and loves dog treats - does not like fruits or vegetables. Shy but has started coming out of his shell and will play with a ball or plushie. Ideal home would be with another dog, someone who can be home with him - he is low maintenance doesn't like to walk typically just likes to be with you. Takes medications well, is good for baths and nail trims. Good with my two dogs, doesn't show signs of resources guarding for toys or food. Age: 8 Weight: 57 lbs Temperament: Gets along with dogs, seems fine with cats, and older respectful kids Training: Housetrained, crate-trained Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm... Email for questions:    lauren.crane@hotmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. Story
Chico (aka Chi Chi) has a zest for life and is always ready to play! He's on the lookout for a forever home that can match his turbocharged vibes. Ideally, his new owner would be just as lively and ready for walks or fun park hangouts as he is. This clever pup is quick on the uptake, responding to his name and a whole bunch of cool commands like sit, lay down, come, and leave it. While he might start off a bit bashful, once he warms up, he's a social butterfly, eager to make friends and have a blast. And don't worry, even in his shy moments, Chico's all about love and play, no hint of aggression in sight! Age: 4 years   Weight: 55 lbs  Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines, HW negative.  Temperament:  Good with dogs and probably older sturdy kids because of his energy level. Training: House-trained and knows commands For questions about Chico, please email dtv.diyora@gmail.com  To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Story
I am unable to keep Duke due to finances and living arrangements. I am hoping to find a patient and experienced dog owner who is financially stable and can provide him the home he needs and deserves. Duke is a sweet boy who struggles with social and separation anxiety. He will also most likely need ACL surgery. I know the right owner is out there and I want to avoid a shelter setting which will not be ideal for him or worse euthanasia.

Story
Say hello to Bagel. Bagel and her 12 puppies were rescued by Cold Nose Warm Heart. Bagel has been an incredible mamma to her babies, guiding and nurturing her beautiful puppies from day one-even when times were tough and she wasn’t feeling her best. Now that her babies are grown, Bagel is ready for her forever home to experience the same love and caring she showed her babies. The family that chooses Bagel to be a part apart of their family will be the lucky ones. She’s great with people, sweet and loving, and is cat-friendly—just a little curious. She is 38 pounds of heart, a boxer mix with beautiful blue loving eyes. Look no further for an absolutely amazing dog to add to your family and give Bagel a second chance to enjoy all the things she deserves. We have no doubt the love you will receive from Bagel will be more than you would ever have dreamed. http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html @cnwhnj @coldnosewarmheartnj

Story
Hear ye, hear ye! All hail the King of Peaceable Kingdom! We joke, because there’s nothing regal about this boy. King is a big, silly, lummox of a dog and we love him for it! King is 2 years old, weighs 73 lbs., and is half Boxer, half German Shepherd/Husky mix. King had a rough past – he was crated a lot and spent too much time tied up outside. He missed out on proper socialization and training. He also lacks confidence in new situations and is fearful of strangers. King has a big bark when you meet him, but once he knows you, he’s 100% soft inside. He has the best wiggle-butt when he’s excited to see you. His absolute favorite activity is playing fetch and he’s quite good at it! King also loves playing with other dogs and has lots of playmates. He supposedly spent time around cats in the past, too. King can be very talkative, so he may benefit from a home without shared walls. King would be open to living with older, responsible children. He doesn't show well at the shelter because he is fearful. Off site, he is so different. So, for that reason, all meets will be scheduled in advance off site with a trainer and his favorite volunteer. We want to set him up for success as much as possible. Email dogs@lvpeaceablekingdom.info to set up a meet with King! Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052

Story
Mari was adopted from St Hubert’s over 2 years ago when she was just about 4 months old. I did a DNA test and was surprised to see that she’s 100% pit bull terrier! She’s petite, at only 40 lbs, and she curls up like a cat. Mari is the sweetest stage 5 clinger you’ll ever meet! She follows me everywhere and loves cuddles with her humans. Unfortunately Mari has moments of aggression towards our other dog and it has become dangerous. She also has a small prey drive and is aggressive towards our cats. She is protective and doesn’t handle people coming to the house well. She’s good with my teens, but not their friends and I don’t know about young kids. And she would do much better in a quieter, less overwhelming household. Ultimately I want her to be the only pet and to be deeply loved, so that she can be happy and thrive.
