Story
Meet Zoy 🌟 Your fetch-loving, kiss-giving bestie 💕🐾 Zoy is a bubbly, affectionate girl who brings fun wherever she goes. She’s a fetch fanatic, a total attention hog, and a proud velcro dog—if you’re moving, she’s coming with you! Equal parts ball of energy and snuggle monster, Zoy is always ready for playtime followed by kisses and couch cuddles. 🎾💋 We are going to test her with other dogs, and so far she is not a fan of cats! She loves car rides (passenger princess status 👑), and handles vet visits like a pro. Zoy is food motivated and eager to learn—her manners and leash skills are still a work in progress, but she’s ready to keep building her best-dog basics with a committed family. Social, goofy, and full of heart, Zoy is looking for a home that will embrace her enthusiasm, continue her training, and include her in all of life’s adventures. If you’re ready for a loving sidekick who will keep you laughing and covered in kisses, Zoy is your girl. 💗 📍 The Center for Animal Health and Welfare PA Kennel License #02941 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
Dexter is a sweet, goofy older boy who just wants someone to cuddle and play fetch with. He has been known to toss a ball or frisbee to himself in a pinch, but he definitely prefers a human companion for these sort of sporting activities! Dexter also loves walks and is very good on the leash, but he tends to tire out after a mile or two. He is house trained and crate trained, and while he has on occasion managed to Houdini his way out of his crate, he has never caused any actual damage to the crate nor gotten into any mischief after he freed himself. He does very well with other dogs, but would do just fine as an only dog as well - he definitely prefers the company of humans over canines! He is generally a very quiet, low-key dog. That said, we recommend he not be placed in a home with cats (he has not shown any prey-drive tendencies, but he is a little too interested in them for their comfort level). While he is a very gentle boy, he does sometimes get a little jumpy (especially when meeting new people) and can inadvertently head-butt with his big blocky head, so a home with older kids would be ideal. He is very smart and knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate) and LOVES treats! Dexter has not shown any resource-guarding tendencies regarding food, treats, or toys but he can be a vocal player with other dogs. Dexter would love a home with a nice fenced yard for playing fetch, where he gets lots of human attention and snuggles. And he's pretty well trained too, check him out here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/DTMYniyrDmJqV4BY/ Here's some videos of his dog interactions: https://youtube.com/shorts/s50zqB8XoTs https://youtube.com/shorts/OxRzjbUOVXw Playing in the yard: https://youtu.be/mqxHcfH5Ryc Elect Dexter https://youtube.com/shorts/yOA6KScobN0?feature=share   Dexter loves walks and exploring, loves his pool, so his trainer recommends he goes to an active home. He'd also do great with a veteran or senior who still has some pep in their step. When he's not out and about, Dexter enjoys snuggling up on the couch with his humans while watching Netflix. Age: 9 years  Weight: 55 lbs  Temperament: good with all adults, and enjoys other dogs, should be fine with older respectful kids Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines,  heratworm  negative  Training: House trained, crate trained, knows sit, down, stay/wait, his name, follow, come, look, and touch.  For questions, please email. ali@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself .  March 2, 2026, 7:05 pm

Story
Hi! I’m Lily! I was found behind a church dumpster with my puppy, starving and barely surviving. My puppy got adopted but I’ve been in boarding since the summer! I’m now thriving in my foster home with my foster brothers! I love to play, nap, cuddle and run around the backyard. I’m a strong girl who wants a family of her own. If you would like to add Lily to your forever home, just go to goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application.

Story
Moon Pie's Story Meet Moon Pie 2 Years Old | 80 lbs | Spayed | UTD on Vaccines | House Trained Moon Pie is an 80-pound athlete wrapped in pure affection. She will be two years old on June 27 and is a Boxer × Hanging Tree mix — which means brains, drive, and heart in one powerful package. Her story began with resilience. She survived a severe back injury after being trapped under a pallet. A veterinarian stepped in, treated the wound, and gave her the second chance she deserved. You’ll see the scar — it’s part of her story, not a limitation. Moon Pie is deeply people-oriented. She believes she is a lap dog. She thrives on connection, attention, and having “her person.” Temperament & Home Needs * Loves people * High energy, working-dog drive * House trained * Spayed (September 11) * Up to date on vaccinations She does well with a small dog in her current home, but she has had conflict with a similarly sized, high-energy dog. For everyone’s safety and success, we are recommending: ✔ An only-dog home, or ✔ A home with a calm, opposite-sex dog after proper introduction ✔ Experienced handler preferred ✔ Secure fencing required ✔ Active lifestyle strongly encouraged This is not a couch-potato dog. Moon Pie will excel with structure, exercise, and clear leadership. Think hiking partner, property companion, training enthusiast, or someone who understands working-line energy. She is not aggressive toward people. She is powerful, athletic, and needs management that matches her drive. Ideal Home Someone who: * Appreciates strong, smart dogs * Understands arousal management * Provides daily mental and physical outlets * Wants a loyal, affectionate companion Moon Pie isn’t difficult — she’s driven. There’s a difference.
