Story
River is a smart, housebroken, crate trained, and food motivated approx one year old mix.. His foster home has been working on leash skills and he already knows several basic commands. He would do fantastic with a single young adult or child-free couple who have some experience with dogs already and can continue to build on the foundation they have been working on. He is young and has a lot to learn. River’s ideal home has: A dog his size that will play with him and help him learn doggy social skills, his foster home only has small old pups and he wants them to play so badly. A fenced in yard for zoomies and games of fetch (Eventually he might even learn to bring the ball back!) He’s never attempted to escape the yard but a 6’ tall fence is recommended so he’s never tempted. He can leap clear over the couch… Maybe agility training is in his future! No small kids - he is fostered with several kids, as young as 4 years old, but is very much a puppy at heart does not seem to realize his own size and strength and can still be a bit unpredictable. Lots of durable toys like Kongs and Benebones available. He LOVES to chew on toys but does a really good job only chewing what he’s allowed too. Stuffed animals with squeakers are a blast for him - albeit very short lived!

Story
Name / Breed / Age: Leela , American Staffy, Adult  Personality Traits: Happy go lucky, The Velcro Pup, The Brave Pup Likes / Dislikes:  Absolutely loves showing off her stuffed animals as soon as you walk in the door (and you have to acknowledge said toy). She doesn’t like sudden loud noises or cats. Health and behavior history:  Up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed. Clean bill of health from the PIPs Vet! Meet Leela! Leela is a true survivor and so resilient. After a being saved from neglect, she’s got a new lease on life. She is extremely loving and loyal & wants to meet every person she meets. She’s a cuddle bug and prefers to sleep on your pillow with you or curled up beside you. She has no accidents in the house and doesn’t chew on pillows, shoes, furniture, etc. She is extremely treat motivated and the sweetest cuddle bug. She knows a few basic commands (sit, shake, other paw, come, leave it). Funny little goofball who truly just wants to give love and receive it in return. She can be apprehensive about other dogs, so slow and proper introductions are a must. She’s a cancer survivor & just an all around warrior. ##2374916##

Meet Bonnie – Your Loyal, Loving Playmate! Age: 3 years oldSpayed & Up-to-Date on VaccinesHouse & Crate Trained | Working on Leash SkillsDog-Friendly (with slow introductions)Knows: Sit, Down, Sit & Stay (working on it), Outside, and Her Name Bonnie is a beautiful, high-energy 3-year-old pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that lights up every room. She's incredibly loyal, thrives on attention and interaction, and is happiest when she's included in the action. Bonnie is a total toy lover—she’ll never say no to a game of fetch with a ball, a squeaky toy, or a good bone to chew on. One of her favorite activities is running around the yard on a long lead, followed by a cozy nap in her crate. She eats, and relaxes in her crate during the day, often choosing it as her hangout spot with the door open. She will sleep in her crate at night with the door closed.  She's house-trained, crate-trained, and currently working on her leash manners. Bonnie already knows several commands including sit, down, sit and stay (working on it), outside, and she responds well to her name. She's a smart girl who enjoys learning and thrives with positive reinforcement. Bonnie plays well with the two dogs in her foster home after slow introductions. She hasn’t been tested with cats or children, so careful, gradual introductions would be best if either is present in her future home. Bonnie’s Ideal Home:Bonnie would do best in an active, dog-savvy home with strong, confident individuals who can provide continued training and structure. She’s still working on socialization, but she's making great progress and needs a family willing to be patient and consistent. A fenced yard or access to safe outdoor space would be a huge plus, as would a compatible canine playmate. If you're ready for a loving, energetic companion who’s eager to please and full of potential, Bonnie is ready to be your new best friend   A Few of Her Favorite Things:   - Wrestling and playing tug with her doggy pals - Begging for treats and snuggles from anyone who will give them - Going on adventures to the beach and playing in the waves - Being a total goofball and making everyone laugh   A Little Shy at First, But...   Bonnie can be a bit vocal when meeting new people or dogs, but don't worry - she warms up quickly and becomes a total sweetheart. Her foster dad says she's the perfect house guest, and we know you'll fall in love with her charming personality.   Ready to Join Your Family!   Bonnie is crate trained, house trained, and ready for her forever home. Whether you're looking for a playful companion or a snuggle buddy, Bonnie is the perfect pup for you. She was rescued from a rural shelter at the last minute, and now she's ready to bring love and joy into your life.   Are you ready to add some sunshine and laughter to your family? Adopt Bonnie today! ##2267051##
