Story
I was left with Charlie 4 years ago after my uncle passed away. He’s a very energetic and protective dog. He loves playing with other dogs. He loves snuggling with cats. His favorite game is fetch but with a large stick. He loves treats but is not the most food oriented dog. He loves guarding his home and you will feel safe with him there.

Story
Charlie was abandoned in a condemned house by tenants who left very quickly. She is extreeeemely sweet and unbelievably affectionate. All she wants is to snuggle and sit on your lap and get belly rubs. She listens really well, she learned her new name in under a week. She needs some training, but is very eager to please. She seems to be mostly housetrained but she does pee sometimes at night. However, she's in a shifting environment (living in our heated basement) and has only been with us for a week. We took her to the vet, she has some allergies but is otherwise healthy and about 3 years old. This dog would make someone an incredible pet, if they have a little time and energy to put into upfront training. I cannot stress enough how sweet and loving this dog is. She was found with another dog (a tiny dog). She did not have a good interaction with our male pittie but she's in heat right now which an totally change how she is with other dogs. Working on spaying her.

Story
I got Max from a close friend who has both of his parents still together. Max is a 75lb 2yrs old and his bday is Jan 1, 2023. He loves to play, go on walks, sleep, belly rubs and also likes to talk back. Hes a goofy dog that makes the weirdest faces and noises. He is always the first one at the door to greet you. He is also crate trained. I am just looking for someone that has time to just love him and play with him and willing to take him to parks.

Story
Goober is a happy, handsome boy looking for a loving forever home after being rescued. He’s the total package — house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows basic commands. Friendly with kids, strangers, and other large dogs, Goober makes fast friends everywhere he goes. In fact, he’s a neighborhood superstar! This 70-pound sweetheart loves to lounge most of the day but has an adorable case of the zoomies around 3 PM. He’s great at playing fetch, especially with his football, and enjoys exploring the outdoors. Goober is respectful with food and toys, letting you take a bone right from his mouth without issue. He’s also good with baths and happy to soak up attention. Goober does have some allergies, but they are managed with medication. He has a high prey drive, so he cannot live with small dogs, cats, chickens, or other small animals. He would do best in a home with dogs his size or larger. While he’s a very strong boy now that he’s healthy, Goober is eager to learn. He will need continued leash training (he’s a powerful puller when excited!) but is responsive and willing to please. If you’re ready to welcome a big-hearted, goofy, loving dog into your life, Goober is your guy! Ready to meet Goober? Fill out an adoption application today — he can't wait to find his forever family!

Story
Meet ROCKY! Rocky is a handsome Elderbull (9 yrs) who wants a human pal that he can worship and share adventures will. Rocky suffers from dry eye that went untreated and he has lived with painful eyes for some time now (one of the worst cases we have ever seen!). He is currently getting 3 types of eye drops several times a day to give him some relief and help his eyes produce lubricating tears again. Rocky is a champ with his eye drops because he knows they are helping him! Rocky also has a cherry eye (exposed tear duct) which may need surgery to correct. Right now he is enjoying the relief from constant eye pain &#239&#191&#188- it's almost like he has found the fountain of youth! Rocky will be neutered later this month (pre-surgical bloodwork looks great!) and will be available for adoption soon after. His eye care will be lifelong but we hope to be able to reduce the number of drops and frequency (under vet supervision) in time. Rocky has been vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped. Rocky is a great traveler! He enjoys wilderness walks but mostly wants to be with his person. Rocky would like to be your one-and-only pup so he can soak up all the love! Looking for a sweet Elderbull? Story
Bella’s Adoption Story From the moment Bella came into our care, we knew she was something special. This sweet little shortie has a heart as big as Texas and a playful spirit that lights up every room she enters. If there’s fun to be had—Bella will find it! She loves to play all day, whether it’s tossing toys around, exploring the yard, or chasing her bestie, Alfie. But don’t let her playful personality fool you… Bella is also a world-class cuddler. When she’s not busy being adorable and entertaining everyone, she loves to curl up beside you—by a warm fire, on the couch, or outside under the stars. Wherever you are, that’s where she wants to be. Bella is wonderfully social. She gets along with dogs of all sizes, is good with cats, and does beautifully with older children who understand gentle handling. She’s the total package— &#226&#156&#168 Fully vaccinated &#226&#156&#168 Spayed &#226&#156&#168 Microchipped &#226&#156&#168 Housebroken &#226&#156&#168 Kennel trained Bella and Alfie, her best friend and fellow rescue, share a beautiful bond. They were saved together, leaned on each other through the tough times, and still choose to be side by side every day. Alfie, a gentle Great Pyrenees, is her protector, playmate, and comfort buddy. While it would warm our hearts to see them adopted together, it is not a requirement. Bella deserves a loving home of her very own—one that will cherish her sweetness, enjoy her playful energy, and give her all the love she so freely gives. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who brings joy, laughter, and snuggles, Bella may just be the perfect match. Adopt Bella today at samsonsjustice.orgDecember 11, 2025, 3:10 pm
