Story
Jayce has had a rough start, but you would not know it when you meet him. He lived his life on a chain, he almost lost his life after being attacked by another dog which is when he came into our care. Jayce went from living on a chain, to a kennel for a few months and now he has freedom and he LOVES it!! He enjoys finding a cool place to rest, he ABSOLUTELY loves toys! He is often found with a toy in his mouth, he tosses them and entertains himself. He enjoys a leisurely walk and then is ready for more relaxing. Jayce may seem intimidating with his deep bass bark, but he will wag his tail along with his whole body just as quickly once he sees you. He is an enthusiastic and affectionate boy. Jayce gets along well with female dogs (as long as they aren't overly dominant). He is a pretty laid back guy that is just so happy to be in the moment. He could stand to learn not to jump when excited but otherwise he is a perfect gentleman. Jayce has been waiting to go home for 8 months for someone to pick him. He is a solid guy, weighing around 60 lbs. His ideal family would be one without small children as he has not had the opportunity to meet them. **************PLEASE READ THIS FOR NEXT STEPS**************** COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. Story
Charlie was abandoned in a condemned house by tenants who left very quickly. She is extreeeemely sweet and unbelievably affectionate. All she wants is to snuggle and sit on your lap and get belly rubs. She listens really well, she learned her new name in under a week. She needs some training, but is very eager to please. She seems to be mostly housetrained but she does pee sometimes at night. However, she's in a shifting environment (living in our heated basement) and has only been with us for a week. We took her to the vet, she has some allergies but is otherwise healthy and about 3 years old. This dog would make someone an incredible pet, if they have a little time and energy to put into upfront training. I cannot stress enough how sweet and loving this dog is. She was found with another dog (a tiny dog). She did not have a good interaction with our male pittie but she's in heat right now which an totally change how she is with other dogs. Working on spaying her.
