Story
Meet Lady Bell: Lady Bell is about a 1 year old (as of December 13, 2025) American Staffordshire Terrier / lab mix with beautiful black markings that weighs about 50 pounds. Lady Bell and her 3 siblings were dumped on a rural highway off Interstate 55 in northeast Arkansas on June 30th. They were covered in ticks and malnourished. A rescuer found out and went to get them and took them to a safe, temporary foster home on July 4th. Lady Bell is currently being fostered in the Mountville, PA area and would love to to her forever family!  Lady Bell is a sweet, independent girl that is also eager to spend time with her humans. She loves belly rubs and getting attention from her people. Lady Bell is very curious and is always exploring anything new that is happening around her. Lady Bell loves playing with toys and enjoys running around the yard with the other  dogs in her foster home. She gets along great with other dogs and enjoys being around them. Lady Bell is house trained, crate trained and doing well learning how to walk on a leash.  We would love for Lady Bell to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can play freely. Lady Bell is up to date on her shots and spayed. Lady Bell is ready for her forever family - is it with you? If you are interested in adding this agile lady into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Giz belonged to my ex. When we broke up, he never came back for the dog. I love Giz, and have tried to accommodate him the best that I can, but I simply cannot give him what he needs. I now live in a 1 bedroom apartment and work a lot of 12 hour shifts. I need to find him a home that fits his needs better. Giz is 6 years old, but he's still a baby. He just wants to play and cuddle. He's very curious and wants to be in everything you're doing. And I just want to make this note, because I don't want to deceive anyone, Giz has had very little interaction with other dogs and is VERY reactive when he encounters them. He's only ever been friendly with my old neighbor's dog. He had a female, that was the same size as Giz and had the same energy. They both would play rough but, when they got tired, they'd lay with each other and even share a water bowl. He hasn't interacted with another dog since, and that was 3 years ago.

Story
I got Max from a close friend who has both of his parents still together. Max is a 75lb 2yrs old and his bday is Jan 1, 2023. He loves to play, go on walks, sleep, belly rubs and also likes to talk back. Hes a goofy dog that makes the weirdest faces and noises. He is always the first one at the door to greet you. He is also crate trained. I am just looking for someone that has time to just love him and play with him and willing to take him to parks.

Story
Please meet Jack, a 8 yr old very sweet, handsome little boy, looking for his forever home. Jack is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, on preventative, is neutered and microchipped. Jack seems to prefer female Dogs, so a home with females or no other dog may be best and no cats please. Jack really needs a Foster home where he can be taught appropriate greeting behaviour with new people. Jack is very sweet but seems to think wrapping himself around someone's leg and holding on is the way to be affectionate, after he gets to know someone he stops that, but being this way sadly will completely hinder any adoption prospects. If you are interested in fostering or providing a forever home for our sweet Jack, please click HERE to download our Adoption Application. Please save it to your PC with your name as the title, and e-mail the saved document to: terry4553@verizon.net If you have questions about how the adoption process works, we do have our adoption process located below which we feel will answer all your questions. If after submitting your application and reading our process, you still have questions, please email Terry at terry4553@verizon.net Thank you. Please know we do not allow meetings with our dogs until we have received your adoption application. Our coverage is limited to: MD, DE and the Southeastern parts of PA, NJ

Story
Maximus is a one-year-old, 60-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as his photogenic smile. He was discovered as the unofficial neighborhood dog, happily playing with children on their way home from school, and he readily jumped into the rescue vehicle, ready to find his forever home. This handsome boy is as good-natured as he is beautiful. His loyalty and loving nature shines through once he warms up, though he can be a bit shy at first.Maximus gets along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and people. His past as a neighborhood friend shows his inherent love for everyone he meets. Story
Meet Red: Red is about a 2 year old (as of December 2025) boxer / black mouth cur mix (best guess) that weighs about 50 pounds. Red was found on the streets in rural Mississippi with her litter of puppies. The puppies have all been adopted and now it’s her turn. Red is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Red is a very friendly dog. Red is sweet and nice to have around. Red gets along great with other dogs, but we do not recommend that she live with cats. Red is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need some patience while she transitions to another method. We would love for Red to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play freely. Red is up to date on her shots and spayed. Red had been heartworm positive, but has completed treatments and is good to go! If you would like to add this mama into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
