Story
Charlie was abandoned in a condemned house by tenants who left very quickly. She is extreeeemely sweet and unbelievably affectionate. All she wants is to snuggle and sit on your lap and get belly rubs. She listens really well, she learned her new name in under a week. She needs some training, but is very eager to please. She seems to be mostly housetrained but she does pee sometimes at night. However, she's in a shifting environment (living in our heated basement) and has only been with us for a week. We took her to the vet, she has some allergies but is otherwise healthy and about 3 years old. This dog would make someone an incredible pet, if they have a little time and energy to put into upfront training. I cannot stress enough how sweet and loving this dog is. She was found with another dog (a tiny dog). She did not have a good interaction with our male pittie but she's in heat right now which an totally change how she is with other dogs. Working on spaying her.

Story
Athena is a 4-year-old gentle giant with a heart just as big as her paws. This sweet, affectionate girl has spent much of her young life being a devoted mama to several litters of puppies, and now it’s finally her turn to be the one spoiled and adored. Athena loves the company of other dogs and thrives on companionship. She doesn’t quite realize her size, so she’d do best with canine friends closer to her own stature who can keep up with her playful energy.
