Story
Meet Sweeeeeeettt Caroline! She is truly a sweetheart and loves to stand up and dance to greet everyone she meets. Caroline was surrendered when her previous owners moved and couldn't take her with them. She is ready to find her forever home that will love her like she will love them. Caroline is very eager to greet people and can pull and be a bit jumpy in her excitement. She is extremely athletic and is able to jump up to give face kisses. We think Caroline would be an amazing running partner or agility dog! She is very smart; we know she can be trained to learn proper manners on how to greet people. Besides loving up on her people, Caroline's favorite thing is to play ball. She will chase any kind of ball she can find. If she can't find a ball, she'll pick up another dog toy and carry it with her everywhere - even on walks! Caroline hopes to find a family that is as active as she is to play with her and let her explore. Good times will never seem as good if you don't have Caroline by your side. Caroline does have a prey drive, so she will need a home without cats or other small critters. She has never lived with other pets in a home, so we do not know if she would like living with another dog. We may consider adopters with another dog if they have experience with integrating a new dog into their home safely. Caroline will need a home without young children, but older teens that are dog savvy should be fine. If you are interested in meeting Caroline, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org

Story
Faith, Hope, Charity and Liberty are 4 sisters who were found abandoned in a cemetary in rural West TN. Thankfully a nice lady found them and took them home. They were starved and freezing but very sweet and friendly. We believe they were born in late Nov or early December. They have started their vetting and if everything continues to go as planned they will finish their vetting and be ready to travel to their forever homes 3-15. These girls are going to be large dogs when fully grown. They are already learning how to sit and other tricks. If you are interested in adopting please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our adoption and transport process and you can submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog The adoption fee is $399 and transport will be an additional $200 if they have to be transported out of TN where they are currently fostered.

Story
Caine, a name meaning “son of the warrior…, exudes prosperity and courage.” True to his name this handsome boy has been a courageous fighter through his short difficult life. Caine was shot in the spine and left without medical care for some time. Caine was not expected to walk again but he has defied the odds by working hard down south to learn to walk again. Not only can he walk (with a bit of an odd gait), sometimes even trots for short periods of time! Caine does well on a leash however slow in general due to still recovering from his injuries. Caine’s painful past did not hurt his spirit though, he’s a happy Velcro dog who wants to be with his people—maybe even helping with the dishes if you let him  . Caine is VERY food motivated, which will help while he’s learning basic commands and manners. He tends to try to get through doorways first (Bulldozer is one of his nicknames he’s received in his short time in PA) so he’s especially working on “sit” and “wait,” but he just wants to be by your side to save you from any crumb monsters that might be lurking! He does well in his crate after a short protest! (he can be a talker at times… such as meal time since you can’t get his food fast enough  )but so far he’s also done well when left alone uncrated. Caine is also a heartworm survivor, and he is kid, cat, and dog tested and approved. With this hungry hungry Hippo even toys are not safe from his wrath, so he will need tough toys/bones that he can’t destroy or eat in his forever home. Caine is an approximate 55 lbs, 4 year old neutered mixed breed, and is UTD on preventatives. He is currently fostered in Dillsburg, PA PA Caring for K-9's PO Box 356 New Oxford PA 17350; LIC #9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Story
Majestic Adorable Charming This sweet fella is a 60 lb, 1.5 y/o bully mix. Mac is an all around good boy who is house and crate trained, although can be trusted to left uncrated when home alone. Going on an adventure? Take Mac with you! He’s full of energy and would make a great hiking partner as he does great on a leash. He rides well in the car and promises to protect you from those scary windshield wipers! Mac is good with dogs that match his playful style. His cat status is unknown. He is good with kids as well although he doesn’t understand his size at times. Mac is looking for an owner that is consistent and will give him lots of energy outlets, both mental and physical. Mac is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives and fostered in Pittsburgh, PA PA Caring for K-9's PO Box 356 New Oxford PA 17350; LIC #9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Story
If dogs could talk, oh the stories they would tell. Although we don’t know what the first 8 months of Hach’s life looked like, we do know that he and his sister Iko were found abandoned at a rail trail down in Alabama, with no owner in sight. After hours wandering around in the rain, some kind volunteers picked them up, and now this southern boy is living in the comfort of his warm foster home in PA! Hach is a mixed breed pup weighing 31 lbs. and he has so many paws-itive qualities. Here are just a few:  Great with dogs of all size and age  Loves people, including kids & babies!  A big snuggler and sneaks kisses  Smart boy who sits politely for treats  Submissive with food and play  Entertains himself with toys and bones  Crate trained  Rides well in the car  Working hard on house training  Cat, donkey, goat friendly!      Hach is UTD on vaccines and preventives and HW negative.
