Story

Ivy is a sweet, affectionate girl who adores her humans and loves being close. She’s happiest curled up on the couch, following you from room to room, or tucked under the covers at bedtime. She has so much love to give and forms deep bonds with her people. We’ve had Ivy for about 2.5 years, and finding her a new home has been a hard decision. It’s become clear that Ivy would thrive best as the only pet in the home. About a year ago, she began having challenges living with another dog, which we’ve successfully managed by keeping them separate. A recent incident with our cat while we were away confirmed that Ivy needs a calmer, single-pet environment to feel secure. This doesn’t define Ivy, it simply means she needs the right fit. In a home where she can be the center of attention, she is loving, gentle, and devoted. Our hope is to find Ivy a safe, quiet, and loving home where she can be someone’s one and only. Meet Trey! The perfectly pocket sized pittie whose only flaw is his inability to keep his tongue in his mouth. Don’t let Trey’s age fool you, this guy has plenty of energy and is ready to run straight into your heart. Trey is an adventurous, curious guy who’s also down to curl up on the couch for a nap. Trey loves every person and every dog he’s ever encountered and would appreciate being a part of a pack, especially of larger dogs he can chase around a yard and cuddle puddle with. He knows no strangers and his love knows no bounds. Trey has been through a lot over the years. In his original intake at FOR he was suffering from gunshot wounds and 2 broken legs. And yet, after that and his family relocating, he is still so trusting and gentle. You may see evidence of his hard past in the way he flinches when he doesn’t see your hand coming, but his healing is evident in how quickly he melts into the pets afterwards. Trey knows basic commands and is fully housetrained. He is around 60 lbs and believed to be around 9 years old. He is fully vaccinated, on monthly flea & tick prevention, and recently underwent treatment for heartworms. He is fostered in Huntsville, AL, and is available for meet & greets there, if adopted from outside the area his foster has agreed to travel up to 200 miles for transport at no charge to the adopter. Trey has not been tested with cats, and will only be placed in a home with adults and older children (no babies or toddlers).

He needs slow introductions and a confident and experienced owner who is willing to work with him and make sure he is safe and secure wherever he is but once he warms up, he is the most cuddly, sweet, playful, bouncy little dude you ever did meet! Scooby is good with other dogs but is a bouncy little dude! So depending on the other dogs play style, they might not be a fan of his. Scooby is good with cats but will chase them if he was allowed to because he thinks they want to play. We quickly snatched her up, and her life truly changed in an instant. Willa took a while to warm up, feel safe, and shed the adrenaline that had been coursing through her for weeks in an effort to stay alive. Since being in foster Willa has blossomed into the absolute sweetest pocket pittie. She loves everyone she meets, does great with other dogs, seems to do well with cats, and is just a joy to be around. Willa is a compact 45lb (pictures don't do her justice; she's tiny!), crate trained, and potty trained. She's up to date on vaccines, on prevention, and spayed.

He would be happy as an only dog or with another playful pup who is looking for a snuggle buddy. Percy is looking for a home with folks who understand the bully breed life and can offer him structure, love, and maybe his own blanket collection!
