Weighing in at 65 lbs, Bailey is a perfect blend of strength and sweetness. She’s the kind of dog who will happily join you on long or leisurely hikes keeping pace with ease, and sticking in close enough proximity off-leash, close with the pack, she needs some work on her recall as she seems to have a nose for prey, but does stick relatively close, and a 30’ drop leash helps! After adventures she will happily curl up beside you soaking up every bit of affection. Bailey has a gentle and friendly nature, getting along well with other dogs and okay with older kids who understand the needs of a young, energetic pup. Meet Sky, 2 yr old mix, neutered male (Anatolian shepherd and pit-bull is our guess) needs a new loving home. My parents have had him since he was 10 weeks old. He gets along with other dogs and people. My parents are older folks and don’t have the time (work schedules) and energy Sky needs for proper training, consistency and structured exercise. He would be much better off with a couple or single person who knows how to mean business with a neutral demeanor. Sky has resource guarding issues. This can managed with the right training, follow through and neutral calm demeanor. I am a trainer myself and would be willing and happy to work with whomever decides to re-home Sky as a curtesy. Giving him a safe loving and well balanced home would be worthwhile enough as a payment of my gratitude in giving back with my training expertise. Meet Sugar & Spice two sweet sisters with lots of love to give. These girls were sadly found abandoned on the side of the road with no trace of an owner, but that’s all behind them now they’re safe, loved, and officially Calpaws pups! Sugar and Spice are believed to be young adults, likely just under a year old, and we suspect they’re Anatolian Shepherd mixes, a gentle guardian breed known for loyalty and intelligence. Despite their rough start, these two have kept their sweetness. They’re dog friendly, kid friendly, and people friendly just easygoing girls who want to belong. Because of the risk of littermate syndrome, Sugar and Spice will be adopted separately, but both are searching for their perfect match. They are a bit timid, so each will thrive best in a home with another confident dog who can show them the ropes and help them blossom. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a soft spirit and a bright future, Sugar or Spice might be your perfect match.  ##2579101##
