Story
Meet Cookie! This 75-pound bundle of joy is a goofy, affectionate sweetheart who absolutely adores people. Cookie loves to snuggle and thrives on attention. While she can be a bit selective with other dogs—especially on leash—she does well with slow, proper introductions. Cookie is smart, knows a variety of commands, is fully house-trained, and highly food motivated (which makes training a breeze!). Because of her size and energy, she’d do best in a home without small children, though dog-savvy kids aged 10 and up would be just fine. Cookie is full of life and ready to join you on all your adventures!

Story
We got Charlie at 8 weeks old and he flew with a flight nanny all the way from Minneapolis. When we first got Charlie, we were told he was leonberger and golden retriever. We’ve had various dog breeds before and was interested in the Leonberger. DNA test results show that Charlie is Anatolian and golden retriever. An Anatolian has a totally different personality/temperament and needs than that of a Leonberger. He is great with kids. I use to bring him to the children’s playground with my son when they were both little. The kids from school and library would create a circle around Charlie to pet him and he would just flop over and eat it up. Our biggest issue is that we currently live/moved into a busy condo with lots of dogs. Charlie loves going to dog parks and even has dog siblings various sizes (Australian sheperd, French bulldog, and mini schnauzer). But he is an a different dog at our condo -always on guard when he sees dogs. He will bark, lunge and act wild.

Story
Dancer was left at a distant shelter as a under-aged puppy at 6 weeks old. He was dirty and timid so the shelter put him with Prancer cattle dog mix puppy also 6 weeks old. We rescued both of them and now they are doing great at their hero puppy foster home. They will get a great start since their foster home is also a trainer. Both are playful and adorable. Dancer seems to be the more outgoing one. More info. to come as they relax and learn. Dancer is more outgoing than Prancer Watch a video from first 2 hours at their foster home. So cute! Update from Foster Home 1/3/25: Dancer has grown quite a bit and he is quite a busy guy. More active. He likes to cuddle but he also will wiggle out of your arms if he is full of energy. He can climb over the 2’ dog puppy pen. No cats. He has a confident and maybe sport dog type of personality. 10/30/25 Update: Poor Dancer is now 1 year old and needs another foster home due to the foster home's 5 year grandson that visits often and even though Dancer grew up with kids coming over he now gets to excited and play nipped the grandson's ear. No broken skin but of course scared the kid and fh. Dancer needs a adult foster home that can guide him and understand cattle dog behaviors. Continue training. In the past he did attend a dozen puppy socials at Zoom Room. Great with other dogs. Now he has teenager energy and can get to excited in play. Need to guide him to calm and listen to commands. FB Video of Dancer and FH's dog playing. So sweet. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1685164315473825May 12, 2026, 12:42 am

Story
Meet Granola! Granola is a 5-month-old Great Dane mix (with a touch of Anatolian Shepherd) who’s got a big future ahead of him—and he’s looking for the right person to help him grow into it. This gentle giant-in-the-making is searching for a forever home filled with patience, understanding, and lots of love. Right now, Granola is a shy and submissive puppy who is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. He shows signs of limited early socialization, which means new experiences can feel overwhelming for him. But beneath that timid exterior is a sweet, sensitive pup who just needs time, guidance, and reassurance to come out of his shell. Because Granola is expected to grow into a very large dog, it’s especially important that his adopter is committed to training, structure, and confidence-building from the start. He may have missed some early developmental experiences, but with consistent positive reinforcement and gentle exposure to new people, places, and situations, he has every chance to become a well-rounded and confident adult. Granola will thrive with someone who understands that progress may be slow at first—but incredibly rewarding. Watching him gain confidence, trust, and joy in everyday life will be a journey worth taking. Granola may be a little unsure right now, but with the right home, he has the potential to grow into a confident, loyal, and loving companion. He’s just waiting for someone to believe in him. Could you be the one to help Granola grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be?
