Story
The 'Italian pups', Venice, Capri, Ponza, Amalfi & Sorrento came to us from a rural GA shelter. We're guessing their heritage is Anatolian Shepherd & Boxer from their size, pretty coats & some having rear dew claws, (of course, no promises as we didn't meet mom & dad!) - A great mix of calm & fun! What we do know is that they are gorgeous, healthy puppies who are full of personality & who will be wonderful family dogs. 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted.

Story
We honestly can't remember meeting a more chill pup than Johnny! True to the Anatolian breed, he is a careful, calm watcher, even at play. Johnny gets along with everyone in his foster home; children ages 2-13, dogs large & small, male & female. He sleeps quietly in his crate overnight, is house-trained with a frequent potty schedule, sits up on the seat like a perfect gentleman on car rides & is rapidly learning the other social skills of an adult dog. He will fit in almost anywhere a large breed dog is welcome! Johnny is 6 months old & 45lbs. Video from his first afternoon at his foster home: https://youtu.be/A8vCxRuUb08 If you'd like to find out more about making this gorgeous pup a member of your family & to see whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc *If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy. **We do adopt multiple dogs to the same home but they must be at least a year apart in age if either is < 2 years old or be an adult bonded pair. Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet Grampa Chubbs was a stray in rural Georgia who‘s gotta fresh dental and a new lease on life. His bloodwork shows he’s healthy and ready for his next chapter to begin. Older gents are kinda the way to go these days. Easy breezy companionship without the burden of training! Because he is on the senior side, he seems to prefer the company of laid-back adults versus active noisy youngsters. He's is used to a quieter life on his own terms. He is a natural guardian who's reserved at first but destined to bloom into an always by-your-side, best bud. If you’re looking for an everyday companion with lots of love and loyalty to give, Chubbs is your guy. Age: ~8 yrs old Weight: 85 lbs Temperament: Co-exists with cats and dogs but not into play; adult home preferred Training: Crate and potty-trained Vetting: Neutered; vaccinated and heartworm negative Questions: Bonesfoundation@gmail.com We would love for you to meet this handsome gent, but we do ask you to complete an application first to make sure it’s a match. Go to doggieharmony.org and click Forms to complete one. This dog is currently in a home of many dogs and rurally located. One-on-one foster attention and a move in-town would help. If interested, we'd love for you to fill out our Foster Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Fosters). Of course, a permanent home is even better. If interested, please complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption). If the links here don't work, please go to DoggieHarmony.org and click FORMS. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation funded; please expect an adoption fee to cover each pet's basic vetting. ***Reduced Adoption Fee - $150*** ***Fostering is FREE***February 27, 2024, 12:49 pm

Story
Hank is a three-year-old, 80-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix. If you know anything about this breed, they are pretty special. Bred to protect livestock, they are usually great with everyone and everything, and Hank is no exception. His only issue is that he’s a big goofball and doesn’t realize he is an 80-pound lapdog. If you want to adopt or foster to adopt Hank, please click the “Adopt” button and submit an Adoption application. If you want to become an ALR volunteer and foster only, please submit a Foster application by clicking the “Foster” button. ##1826634##

Story
Just like 'the voice', Frank, I have had quite the life. (Although I hear his may have been a bit more glamorous) See, it's been a long, long time since I had a home to call my own. I was found as a stray, walking around as a stranger in the night and in horrible condition. The type of condition that when the nice people at Adopt a Golden Atlanta saw me, they couldn't even tell what breed of dog I was. They knew I was a large dog, with very little fur and skin and bones, but that is it. I sure am glad they saw me and came to my rescue anyways. That was the moment my life changed and they promised me the best is yet to come. And boy were they right! I'm in great shape now and quite handsome if I do say so myself! My dashing good looks and tall stature draw a lot of attention and looks out in public and I eat it all up! I love to be with my people, so I am looking for a forever home with someone home a lot. I'm named after the Sultan of Swoon so it only makes sense that I'm a big lover as well. I will admit, sometimes things left on the counter are too much of a temptation and I help myself. But that's life, right? I also do prefer to only have humans as my companions at home because I like it my way. I am fine with other dogs outside of the home, but prefer all the attention on just me in the home. I get a kick out of you playing with me and I love my stuffies. A fenced yard would be wonderful to sit outside and feel the summer wind as well. Everybody loves somebody and now is my turn! I'd love to meet you and woo you with my charm, dreamy eyes and loving personality! Everybody loves somebody and now is my turn! "It's hard, you will find, to be narrow of mind, if you're young at heart."

Story
Zeke is a 12-month-old, purebred Great Dane. He is crate-trained & house-trained with a regular schedule. Zeke is quite shy due to a lack of socialization in his formative months so the ideal home would be a calm, quiet household with people willing to let him take his time figuring out the world. Zeke loves the two female German Shepherds in his foster home & is an athletic chap but walks well on a leash. If you'd like to find out more about making this perfect pup a member of your family & to see whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc *If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy. **No small children.
