Story
Meet Sadie Mae — Georgia’s Most Popular Girl! Age: 2.5 years old Weight: 75 pounds Breed: Anatolian Shepherd Dog Friendly: Yes — big and small! Meet Sadie Mae, a gorgeous 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd with a huge heart, a loyal soul, and a personality that has made her one of the most loved girls around. Sadie Mae has been waiting for her forever family since she was a puppy. She’s grown up waiting for someone to finally choose her — and after all this time, we think this beautiful girl deserves exactly the kind of home she’s been dreaming about. Sadie Mae is incredibly loving and devoted to her people. She’s also a natural protector. She likes knowing where her family is, keeping an eye on the house and property, and making sure everybody — two-legged and four-legged — is safe. And don’t let her 75 pounds fool you. Sadie Mae has a wonderfully gentle side, especially with other dogs. She does great with dogs both big and small and currently helps watch over the little dogs around her. One of her very best friends is Anastasia, and the two absolutely love playing together. When she’s off duty from protecting everybody, Sadie Mae loves being outside, playing in the yard and going for long walks. But when the day is over, this big Anatolian has somewhere very specific she wants to be: With her people. Sadie Mae is a couch dog. Sadie Mae is a bed dog. And yes — all 75 pounds of Sadie Mae would very much like to sleep with you. For Sadie, being allowed on the furniture and sleeping with her family isn’t something we want her to lose when she’s adopted. We are looking for a home where dogs are truly part of the family — couches, beds, snuggles and all. If your house has a strict “no dogs on the furniture” rule, Sadie Mae won’t be the right match. She has waited too long for her forever home to finally get one where she isn’t allowed to do the things that make her feel happiest and closest to her people. Sadie Mae is loving, loyal, playful, dog-friendly and naturally protective. She can spend the afternoon playing with her canine friends, keep an eye on everyone she loves, and then climb into bed at night like the world’s largest teddy bear. She’s a protector when you need one, a best friend when you need one, and a bed hog whether you need one or not. Sadie Mae has spent most of her young life waiting. She’s made friends. She’s protected the dogs around her. She’s won the hearts of the people who know her. She’s been loved and cared for while she waits. But she still hasn’t gotten the one thing that every dog deserves: Her own forever family. We don’t want Sadie Mae to simply find a home. We want her to find her home — the one where she is loved for exactly who she is. A home where this big girl can watch over her family during the day, curl up beside them on the couch at night, and climb into bed knowing that tomorrow morning she’ll wake up in the very same place. No more waiting. No more wondering when it will finally be her turn. Just Sadie Mae, her people, her dog friends, her couch, her bed — and the rest of her life exactly where she belongs. Could you be the family she’s been waiting for?

Story
🐾❤️ Meet Stellar — A Beautiful Soul Who Just Wants to Be Loved ❤️🐾 Some dogs come into rescue and you can’t help but wonder what they’ve been through. Stellar is one of those dogs. This beautiful girl was found as a stray and eventually surrendered to rescue. We may never know where she came from or what her life was like before, but one thing is certain — Stellar has never let whatever happened to her take away her ability to love. And oh, does this girl love. ❤️ At approximately 1½ years old and around 60 pounds, Stellar is a stunning girl who appears to have some Shepherd in her. But her most beautiful quality isn't her gorgeous face or graceful presence — it's her heart. Stellar is sweet, sweet, sweet. She is gentle, affectionate, and simply wants to be close to her people. She is also good with other dogs and is already house trained, making her that much more ready to become someone’s beloved family member. She has done her part. She survived being alone. She made her way to safety. She trusted people again. Now she needs someone to do their part. She needs someone who will look into those beautiful eyes and realize that this girl isn't just another rescue dog. She is someone's missing piece. Imagine the first night Stellar sleeps in her own bed. The first time she realizes she doesn't have to wonder where her next meal will come from. The first time she walks through the door of a home and knows, “This is mine. These are my people. I'm safe.” Stellar is spayed, fully vetted, house trained, good with other dogs, and overflowing with love. All she is missing is the one thing she has been waiting for all along: A family who chooses her. 🏡❤️ If you have room in your heart and home for a beautiful, sweet girl who deserves a second chance, please consider Stellar. Her forever family is out there. We just need to help her find them. 🐾 Please share Stellar's story. Sometimes the right person is only one share away. ❤️ If you are interested in adopting, please fill out application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACPR/Dog

Story
We adopted Aria in May after finding her through someone looking to rehome her on Facebook. She came to us with no vet records and was not spayed, so we immediately got her vaccinated and established veterinary care.Aria is incredibly intelligent, eager to please, and very easy to train. She loves her people and learns quickly. She can be cautious around strangers and unfamiliar noises, so she does best with patience and time to build trust.Shortly after we adopted her, she went into heat. Afterward, we had her spayed, and a few days later she developed a phantom pregnancy that we didn’t initially recognize. Her behavior changed significantly, including becoming possessive of a specific toy and protective of her crate. During this period, she bit someone, and our veterinarian confirmed the phantom pregnancy. Her behavior has improved, but the incident has made it difficult for our family to fully regain trust. Aria would thrive with an experienced dog owner.

Story
Addie is a sweet, loving 6-year-old Australian Shepherd/Catahoula mix. Since welcoming our first baby, she has become more anxious and withdrawn, and despite training, she has continued to growl at our toddler.Addie is:• Fully house-trained and crate trained• An indoor dog who loves relaxing at home• A 6-year-old Australian Shepherd/Catahoula mix• Looking for a calm, child-free environmentAddie enjoys walks and sleeps through the night. She does bark when visitors come to the door, but she is mostly a homebody who is happiest with her people. We have had to keep Addie and our toddler separated for safety and believe she would thrive in a home where she can receive lots of love and attention.

Story
Hi, Im Wren! Im a curious, energetic girl who loves getting outside and exploring. I enjoy walks and adventures, and I walk nicely on leash with just a little pulling when something catches my attention.

Im friendly with new people and love treats, cuddles, and attention. Im also a smart girl who sits nicely for treats and stays calm when people pass by. Ive seen other dogs while out walking and remained relaxed and wiggly. Im also a great car passenger and wait patiently when the door opens.

If youre looking for a sweet, well behaved adventure buddy with plenty of energy and affection to share, I might be the one for you!

Love,
Wren
