Story
Meet our Labor Day Pups. Grace Lynn came to Barkville on August 29th, 2024. She was dropped off at our partner vet in Johns Creek for her intake vetting. Because it was Labor Day weekend she scheduled for her exam on Tuesday, September 3rd. To everyone&#39s surprise, when the vet tech came in on Tuesday morning, they were greeted by smiling Grace Lynn and her 9 beautiful puppies. This litter of 9 puppies (5 females and 4 males) was born on 9/2/2024. They are believed to be Anatolian Shepherd Mixes. When full grown, we expect these puppies to be medium to large size, weighing between 45 - 70lbs. They are all adorable playful puppies and will require patience and continued training as they mature. They are all sweet, friendly, and curious puppies always ready to explore and play. Their energetic nature is balanced by their love for cuddles, making them the perfect companion for any adventure or a quiet evening at home. These puppies are not just pets, they will be your friend, a confidante, and a source of unconditional love. Their playful spirit and loving nature make them the perfect addition to any family. Adopt one of Grace Lynn&#39s Puppies and bring home a loyal friend who will fill your life with joy and happiness. The Labor Day Pups will be available for foster to adopt starting in November 2024. BarkVille Dog Rescue will cover all their vet care, age-appropriate vaccines, their spay/neuter, and microchip. Once spay/neutered they will be ready to complete their adoption. Since these are young puppies, please consider the following: Housetraining, chewing, barking, crying at night, high energy level, nipping, socializing, training. For more information about one of the Labor Day Pups, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. or submit an application at: https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
Meet Bearon! This handsome hunk with beautiful eyes is a 3-year-old, 65-pound, Great Dane & Catahoula mix (we think). He’s house and crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He’s looking for his forever family and wants a home where he’s your only kiddo (human or furry). A little more about Bearon: He can be wary of strangers and does best with slow introductions. Once he knows you, he’s quite the love bug and very sweet. He gets along well with other dogs but would do best as an only pet due to his occasional tendency to guard his food or toys. He’s an energetic boy, and a fenced backyard would be very helpful in getting his energy out each day. Once he’s exercised, he’s ready for a good snooze on the couch with you.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.           November 5, 2024, 4:02 pm

Story
Hello all, I am Scoobie! I am a 7 year old, beautiful, black, Great Dane and sometimes I even act like I know it! My fommy always calls me hansum, she makes me blush! And if you need to smile, well look no further than me! As you will see, I have a flipped up ear at times! It’s like a comb over ear! It brings a smile to everyone’s face! I’m a big boy at about 120 pounds, and my personality is BIG TOO! So here are the things a hooman needs to know about me.    I would do best being the only pup as I like my things. I don’t share the best with humans or other animals, so I need someone who can keep helping me be the best me like my foster parents do! They are patient with me, work with me, and when I do good things, they give me treats!! So I love doing good things!   I’m very food motivated so I will pretty much do anything you want me to do if you have a treat in your hand! I am also on medication daily that helps me be a better me and will need that medication indefinitely. I am a big couch potato, but I also sleep well in a crate. I am potty trained too! Woohoo!   I am a very strong boy, I don’t mean to be, but I am so I do need someone strong enough to handle my big boy size and strength. My foster mom’s requirements for being my new family are:   Must have Great Dane experience No children  No other pets Patient and willing to continue the training work.  Understands that I will forever be on medication that helps calm me and it works!      If you think you would love to be my new family and would love to give me the home I need to live out my golden years, please let Angels Among Us know!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           November 5, 2024, 4:02 pm

Story
Hello, I’m Zelda (but my foster calls me Zoe!) I am a two year old, female, Great Dane! A gentle giant as they say! I am potty trained, walk well on a leash, and will go in a crate (with enough encouragement) although it’s not my favorite place to be. But to be honest…a crate is not needed. I am a lounger at heart and love a soft pillow to lay on. I love other pups and want to play play play! I do have a few medical procedures being done in a few weeks, but if you think you could be my furever family, let the angels know!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
