With her people, she is sweet, attentive, and very loving. Roo does have some challenges that are important to be upfront about. She is reactive to other dogs while walking on leash and will need continued, consistent training to help her navigate those moments. Freya is a beautiful, 6 year-old, female Anatolian Shepherd. She is a 103 lb bundle of joy. She is sweet, gentle, kind, loves pets and giving kisses. She loves to play and adores the outdoors. If you enjoy hiking she is the perfect dog for you----she is always up for an adventure! She gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with kids. She has never hurt a cat but she does enjoy chasing them. She is very loyal, protective, and will you keep or your family safe and loved. Freya is house trained, potty trained, leash trained, and is even off-leash trained. She has no major health issues. This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals.
