Introducing Pokey Puppy!!! Pokey's estimated dob is May 2023 and he weighs about 32lbs. He came to us in poor condition from one of the Central Valley shelters so had little hope of making it out. Pokey has had good care and good groceries and has flourished. He appears to be a short stack Cattle Dog mix given his coloration and some of his behaviors. Pokey is still shy with new people and to some extent other dogs so patience will be needed for his transition. Once he is comfortable, he is happy and playful. Pokey has been learning about the wide world and walks the neighborhood everyday. He will continue to need exposure and reassurance for outings as he matures, along with solid training. He is a strong and active player so another sturdy playful pup would be good. Pokey sleeps in his crate at night. He has also mastered the dog door. And he is pretty much potty trained. Pokey's wishlist: 1. Fenced yard 2. Daily walks and activity 3. No young children. Older respectful children 4. Continued training 5. Patience and leadership 6. Story

Bean is one of the funniest, quirky, affectionate loyal dog. She has exceeded my expectations of what a cattle dog should be but dont worry, she doesnt act like the breed. Bean has no interest in farm life, that we know of but in place she has love for chasing the ball and only the ball. Shell sleep all day, be your shadow and will not let you forget that she loves you. She enjoys rough housing and wrestling sometimes more than playing with other dogs. Bean needs patience with public stores but with a mouth lead she walks just fine in there and on the streets. Ive gotten her used to the vest and leash, she doesnt pull or chase anything, mostly keeps watch on the surroundings but Im working on her confidence. Ive had her more than a year, rescued her but as time passes I feel I cant fulfill her emotional and physical needs. She deserves someone who can be home all day with her and spoil her with attention. I have more to write but I promise shes the best girl ever.

Captain is an incredibly smart, tenacious Australian Cattle Dog mix. Ive had financial setbacks that are making it impossible for me to live on my own and forcing me to rent a room. I cannot bring Captain with me and so I have to rehome him. He is a working breed that would benefit from a backyard at least as he loves walks and being outdoors (or a nearby park). He is incredibly smart, learns commands within a day or two, and is potty and house trained (he has been trained to ring a bell hung off the doorknob when he needs to relieve himself). He is very treat-motivated and loves playing keep away/tug. He loves to walk trails, swim in the river, is loyal and attentive of his surroundings, and loves to cuddle at night. If there's anyone available to home him forever, or at least foster, please reach out. I need to rehome him by the end of Nov 2025.

Meet Daisy, a charming 9-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a dash of spunky spirit in a delightfully compact size! At only 35 pounds, this small to medium-sized, mini heeler shepherd girl (that's our best guess) isn't expected to grow much bigger, making her the perfect companion for adventures big and small. Daisy came to us with a bad case of demodex mange but her fur grew in beautifully! Daisy is a social butterfly who adores playing with other dogs, whether they're big or small. She's also a surprisingly tolerant housemate to cats, generally ignoring them unless they initiate a lively game of "run!" This curious girl loves to explore the world by your side and is always eager for new experiences, especially if they involve a car ride. As long as her human is nearby, Daisy is happy to go anywhere! While her ears may or may not decide to stand up, Daisy's personality certainly shines. She can be a bit cautious around male strangers, responding with a bark or two, but once she trusts you, she transforms into the ultimate snuggle bug. Watch out for her inner "mountain goat" tendencies – no coffee table is too high if it means reaching a cozy lap for cuddles! Daisy is incredibly smart and eager to please, making her a joy to train. She's highly treat-motivated and has already mastered "sit," "stay," "leave it," "down," and "touch" – though she'd love a family who will continue practicing with her. She's also a dream on the leash and doesn't pull, making walks a breeze. Daisy will need a fenced yard, likely at least 5 feet, and will do well with a guardian with dog experience, preferably working breed experience. Daisy would thrive in a home with an existing playful dog who can match her energy, or in a household where she can be the shining star, offering endless love and protective barks. While she hasn't had much experience with young children, her manageable size and eagerness to learn suggest she'd make a wonderful family dog for kids who are ready to embrace the responsibilities of pet ownership. I’m writing a Bio and sending some photos of my foster pup Bino. (A723682)Hi everyone, my name is Bino and I’m a 7 month old Australian Cattle dog! I’m really fast and love car rides and to adventure on the weekends, but I’m also the most content lap pup! I’m working on potty training and I do pretty good for the most part! I even go to sleep in my crate the whole night without any fuss or accidents. It’s actually one of my favorite spots in the house. I keep my softest blanket and squirrel toy in it and when mama drags it around, I run super fast and jump in it while it’s moving, and I Pretend I’m in a cowboy movie and I’m jumping onto a moving train! Sometimes I wake up so filled with energy that, mama sends me to the crate to practice touching the ceiling with my toes.. I can’t reach it yet but it keeps busy til mama finishes her “iMpoRaNt wOrk mEetiNg” and then I’m out and back to wrestling my big sister and crawling up mama’s back like a spider.Ohh I almost forgot to mention! Apparently I have “Sectoral heterochromia” which means part of my eye color is different from the rest! I have it in both eyes but one is more noticeable than the other . I guess you can call me a blue eyed baby?Something really cool is, Mama says im gonna be someone’s Christmas present forsure !Also I have an instagram where you can keep up to date, on the soon to be best-thing to happen to you in 2025!
