Story
Hi, I’m Cooper! I’m a one-year-old, 42-lb cattle dog blend. I’m curious, cuddly, clever, and quirky. There’s just one thing I’m missing: a forever family who will love me forever. General Behavior: Cooper is an amazing, loving dog that will bring joy to your life. He is young and energetic and needs plenty of exercise, and he is also a very loving dog who will snuggle all day and loves scratches and belly rubs. Likes & Dislikes: Cooper LOVES his people and HATES to be left alone. He likes toys, too, but he tends to eat them. Balls are his favorite and he will chase them and bring them back to you… most of the time. Training: Cooper is a smart cookie! He is housetrained if let out regularly. He walks well on a leash (although he could use a bit of practice), he is well-behaved on car rides, and he has even learned some commands, like “sit” and “stay”.  He is food motivated, so his future family should be able to continue his training. Medical: Cooper is a healthy boy! He just needs his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. Other Animals: Cooper is good with other dogs of all sizes. He’s even good with cats! Children: Although Cooper mostly has good manners, he still gets excited and jumps on people, so he’d do best in a home with teens and older only. Home: This boy can leap and bound that puts Superman to shame: therefore, he needs a house with a yard and at least a six-foot-high fence is a must. Cooper also needs a home where someone is around most of the time. If he is left alone, he must be left in a secure location to keep him out of trouble: he gets anxious and destructive when left alone.    Grooming: Cooper does not require much elaborate grooming, apart from brushing. Luckily, he loves being brushed! Overall: Cooper will make a wonderful companion for someone who will take him on adventures, give him lots of belly rubs, and love him forever. Cooper is ready to “fly the coop” and meet his forever family: could that be you? If so, visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption donation is $400. ##2295729##

Story
Cleo is a very friendly and active dog. She loves running around the backyard and cuddling with humans. We've adopted 2 cats with her in the house and they got along just fine. She is very smart and has been easy to train. Not much maintenance needed other than giving her plenty of attention and a couple of walks to keep her happy.

Goose’s unique charm shines brightest with active adults or families with older kids who understand his fun-loving but sometimes quirky nature. While he’s not a match for young children, Goose’s playful spirit and endearing antics are sure to win over the right home. Story
Blue Bell is a sweet but high energy pup! She is overall just very kind and affectionate and absolutely loves affection from you as well. When taking her out to play she loves a good game of fetch and her favorite toy is of course, the tennis ball! Blue Bell also loves going for walks and enjoying her time with you. She does have a habit of pulling on the leash when excited but we are currently working with her on that. She does know a couple tricks already to impress you with such a sit and down! She seems to do well with other dogs but a meet and greet would still be required for her. She does not like cats and will lunge at them so a home without cats would be best for our girl.
