Dallas is an energetic, people-loving cattle dog who’s always ready to say hello. In the yard, Dallas shows a calmer side, he enjoys taking his time to sniff and explore, checking in often for pets and attention. Toys don’t seem to be his main focus; he’d much rather hang out with his person. He’s a smart boy who already knows several commands, including “sit,” “down,” and “roll over,” and he may know “paw” as well. Dallas is highly motivated by affection and will happily work for praise and attention. When he does take treats, he’s gentle and polite. Dallas has done well meeting new people, though he can be a little reserved at first before warming up. He has also enjoyed playing with another dog, jumping right into play and taking breaks appropriately. Because he can be a bit enthusiastic and is still working on his manners, he would do best with an experienced owner who can provide structure, training, and plenty of outlets for his energy and herding instincts.

She adores people, loves other dogs, and greets everyone like they’re already her best friend. Despite surviving a terrible injury when she was shot, leaving a pellet lodged in her spine, she hasn’t let it dim her spirit one bit. She now uses a wheelchair to zoom around—and trust us, she can keep up with the best of them! Her resilience is nothing short of inspiring. Every day she shows just how strong, joyful, and loving a dog can be. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your life with love, laughter, and a reminder of what true courage looks like, she’s your girl. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. It breaks my heart to post this, but due to my work schedule as a firefighter, I'm not able to give my dog the consistent time and attention she deserves. Sadie is an Australian cattle dog mix and is 9 years old full of love and energy. She's great with adults loves walks, cuddles, fetch , and just wants to be around people. I'm looking for a loving home where she'll get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. She's up to date on shots. If you or someone you know can give Sadie the time and love she deserves, please reach out. This isn't easy for me, but I want what's best for her.
