Mom was a Husky/Blue Heeler mix, dad is unknown. About 4 months old. Expected to be medium-large in size. All dogs and puppies come spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are $75.00 for adult dogs and $100.00 for puppies at the time of adoption. Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our dogs or puppies. To be approved, you can apply online at: https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/1486/Adoption-Application or you can apply in person. Applications can take a few business days to be approved and you will be emailed with communications regarding your application.

Aria is a young mixed working breed who came to us after being found hiding under farm equipment on someone’s property. It’s believed she had been wandering the area for several weeks, likely surviving on her own before finding safety with us. Understandably, Aria needs a little time to warm up to new people — but once she trusts you, she loves with her whole heart. She has had playgroups with dogs her size, but she needs time to get acquainted. She’s a very sweet girl who is eager to please, making her a great candidate for continued training and bonding with her new family. Aria is ready for a home that will give her patience, structure, and the love she’s been waiting for.

For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! Laila is my name and Quintana Rd is where I was found! I am a sweet and LOVING girl with some silly and quirky ways, I am happy and a little goofy too :) I have been with the rescue for several years waiting for my furever!! I love to give my best face! I have the cutest TOOTHY smile you will ever see. And I will share it with you all the time, if you let me! I am good with kids, and even play on the trampoline with them :) I am smart too! The votes are IN and we ARE the WINNERS!! Found at the side of a country road (very common dumping ground, next to the railroad tracks), and saved by a wonderful "foster" and her husband and son and other doggy friends :) We started living like REAL loved puppies the day she saved us!! We are learning potty training and are crate trained experts!! We are leash training as well, but you have to understand.... we were never loved, never lived IN a home and NEVER had ANYONE CARE!!! So, potty trained or not, we are over the moon (and so is our foster mom). But now it is time to find our furever homes! We love and play very well together and would be ideal as a pair, but do NOT have to be adopted together. We need another calm and confident dog to keep us happy/played with and to teach us all we need to know about being loved pups :) We are gorgeous pups and our coats will accent your hair :) ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
