Story
Henry is a sweetheart who has had an owner at some point, but was brought to us by someone who found him. Henry will need LOTS of exercise - he is full of energy and wants to run and play! He's very sweet, but might be a bit much for really young children, as he's so energetic. A nice farm doing his job would be ideal for him:) He does ok on a leash - pulls a bit - but once he has that initial burst out of him, he does much better. We think Henry might need to be an only pet in the home, but he'll be the best he can be for you! Come meet this handsome fella!

Story
Phoebe is a 4-5 year old heeler/terrier mix who weighs about 45 lbs. She will need an experienced owner who would like to continue basic manners work, and she's fully house/crate trained. She won't be a dog park dog as she needs a couple one-on-one meets to love other pups. No cats or small kids in her forever home, sorry! She has a big herding instinct. She's a love bug who is searching for someone to teach her how to be a good pet, and will play fetch all day long. She and her foster mom have been attending sessions with Kai's Training Academy, and the trainer will assist in her transition to her new home as well. Apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet Phoebe! All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Gerry’s an easy going guy who loves his favorite spot in the house and happily shares his toys. He’s about 9 years old and weighs 58 pounds. He loves car rides and face scratches. He has some arthritis due to his age, but joint supplements work great and he still loves his daily walks!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
- Was part of one of our large-scale rescues this year and had a bit of a rough start in life, but he's ready to turn the page and embark on a new adventure with a family! - Might be a bit shy at first, but give him some time and you'll see his heart of gold; he's really opened up in his foster home and is ready to make memories and build a lasting bond with someone- Loves long walks where he can smell all the smells and enjoys running around outside in his foster family's yard - Squeaky balls are his favorite! Loves playing with them outside and will entertain himself by dropping his ball and then chasing it after it bounces away - Loves, loves, loves to play - with humans and other dogs; has been doing amazing with the dogs in his foster home (after a slow introduction) and may love a dog playmate who shares his energy and zest for life; would love to meet any dogs in his new home before adoption to make sure everyone is a great match!- As playful as he is, at the end of the day he also adores cozy couch snuggles and winding down with his favorite humans, sharing warmth and love - Has been great about going outside to do his business and then coming back in; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new schedule - Is also good at going in his crate when his foster family needs to go to work - Sweet, fun, well-behaved boy who will fill your home with tail wags, laughter and unconditional love - Has struggled a bit with medical handling and would benefit from a veterinarian who uses Fear Free techniques (more info at ARL) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 37 Age: 1yrs 3mths 3wks
