Story
Phoebe is a 3-4 year old heeler/terrier mix who weighs about 45 lbs. She will need an experienced owner who would like to continue basic manners work, and she's fully house/crate trained. She won't be a dog park dog as she needs a couple one-on-one meets to love other pups. No cats or small kids in her forever home, sorry! She has a big herding instinct. She's a love bug who is searching for someone to teach her how to be a good pet, and will play fetch all day long. Her adoption fee is $250. She and her foster mom have been attending sessions with Kai's Training Academy, and the trainer will assist in her transition to her new home as well. Apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet Phoebe! All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Story
How adorable is this litter!? Our breed mix guesses include heeler, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Lab, Terrier...they could be all of that and more, but we do know they're 100% cuteness! These 7 puppies are ridiculously sweet, and our best guess right now is they should be around 40 pounds when full grown. They're getting plenty of handling and love, and are ready to spread their wings and find their forever homes.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.September 21, 2023, 11:44 am

Story
In search of a serial kisser, the best kind of serial out there, right? Well then I, Mandy, am the dog for you! I'm a mix of awesomeness and 5 years old. I can be laid back and chill or a bouncing ball of joy! I love walks and jogs, with you of course. I also love playing with other dogs. I love it so much, I prefer playing with other dogs over playing with toys. Something else I love, sunbathing! Does your couch have the perfect spot to lay and catch rays? Well then I should absolutely be laying there. I really enjoy laying around, like under tables. Dinner time? I'm under that table. Working at your desk? I'm laying under that too. You laying in bed? Guess what. I'm there too. I'm all about my people and if you adopt me then I'll be all about you! Mandy is good with other dogs and kids (works best with submissive/non-dominant dogs). She is crate trained and potty trained with a doggy door. She knows the commands to go to her crate and to sit. She eats her meals in her crate and will routinely relax in it during the day. She loves food and will steal any if you're not watching. She will do best in a yard that has a secured bottom. ***Mandy has EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) which basically means, my pancreas has not been producing the yummy enzymes I need to adequately digest my food. Because my rescuers were SO astute and proactive, they figured it out (with help of the vet, of course). I will require a certain diet and supplement, highly digestible and low fat foods along with a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement. Basically, every meal I get an appetizer and entree. Easy pleasy. EPI does not necessarily require "prescription" food, and Mandy has drastically improved since the Pancreatic Enzymes added to her diet*** She will need enzymes for life, however, you will get serial kisses day in and day out too.... a great trade off :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac also enjoys being the only dog. He would prefer a home where he is the center of attention and can soak up all the puppy love from his people. He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait! Click the link and start filling out that application Local adoption fee $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
