Story
Hi! I`m Moose and I`m in foster currently, this is what my foster would love you to know....`Moose is a lover boy. He has excellent house manners and a very gentle demeanor when he trusts you. He takes treats very softly even when he is excited. He’s a great dog for anyone with a relaxed lifestyle, as he’s happiest when he’s able to just relax in the presence of other humans. He forms attachments quickly to his owners and takes the role of being a guard dog seriously! He provide such a reassuring presence in our household. He doesn’t shed much. Enjoys hugs and comes immediately whenever you call his name. He loves cheese, cheese and more cheese, chewing ice cubes, walks, hiding his bones, cuddling, pets, being your shadow *anywhere and everywhere.* Moose is a fantastic companion, He loves having all the attention to herself, so he`s looking for a home where he can be your one and only dog.Interested in adopting me? I am currently in a foster home so if you`d like to meet me, please complete an online adoption application and either send us an email at animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or give us a call at 410-833-8848 Ext 2 so we can coordinate a meet!

Story
LEANER ALERT!! Rosey is a 2 year old cattle dog mix and she loves nothing more that to sidle up to her people, leaning on them while she gets her scritches. She is a playful pup who gets the zoomies once or twice a day with a sudden burst of energy, but she settles in quickly. Tug of war or fetch? Why not both?! Rosey is always up for either. She has done very well with house training with only 1 accident in her first two weeks with her foster family and she is crate trained. Rosey is working on her leash manners. She can walk nicely when calm until she sees a squirrel or bunny. This girl is as smart as she is beautiful and food motivated which could make training a breeze. While she’s done well with calm children, she is a mirror of energies and will reflect back the excitement level of the person she’s playing with. This can result in her getting overly excited to play at times. Usually quiet, Rosey saves her barks for when she’s letting you know someone new is nearby. Sweet, smart, and playful. She’s ready to be part of your family!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Cheryl (lovemy4eskies@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Casper has come back in to rescue after 12 years as his owner is no longer able to care for him.  He seems to like men more than woman however he does spend time with me but he prefers my boyfriend.  He loves to take walks and seems to do pretty good. He is house broke but may have some accidents in the beginning as he is getting used to things and if other dogs in the home and if you're gone too long.  He has a backyard to run around in and has not tried to get out but it's best to make sure your fence is secured if you are going to let him out there unattended.  He tries to play with my senior blind boy (who did not play when he could see) so he would do best I think in a home that has a dog he could play with however a meet and greet would be a good idea if possible.  He does pretty good with children over 10 but he is skittish so not sure how he would do with younger kids.  I am not sure he will ever get over being skittish so it might be best if he was in a quiet home with little chaos.   I also did a DNA test on him and he is as follows:        54% Australian Cattle Dog        42% American Eskimo Dog        2% Chihuahua        1% Border Collie        1% Pomeranian Casper is a special boy and I will be looking for the perfect home for him.  If your interested please email me at lovemy4eskies@gmail.com He is being fostered in Ridgley, MD.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!                                                       December 27, 2024, 3:44 pm

Buddy-American Cattle Dog/Australian Shepard male , ~ 5yr. (Nov . 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Buddy came to Rescue through a Dog Trainer and a Prison Program. The Trainer heard he was in need of rescue and brought him into the Program. He's been doing great there, learning housetraining, obedience and more. He's wonderful with the other dogs there. The Inmate trainer describes him as a happy, very sweet dog. He's a loyal friend, athletic and fun. Buddy is about 35# and could use a little more exercise. He's working on losing weight and training at the Prison. Buddy's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Story
Courtesy post: Hi, I’m 6 year old 38 pound JuJu! I may only have three legs, but trust me—I’ve got plenty of sass and zoom left in me. I was rescued from the streets of Tijuana after being found with a cracked hip. My rescuers tried to save my leg, but when it got infected, they had to say “adios” to it. No biggie—I run, jump, and live life just as fast (maybe faster!) than any four-legged pup! I’m a total velcro dog who lives for snuggles, belly rubs, and curling up next to my humans. I’m fully house-trained, crate-trained, and a total pro with kids—even the tiny, drooly ones. I know my basics like sit, down, wait, and stay. I’m also food-motivated, which means I learn new tricks faster than you can say “treat!” A few things to know about me: I love walks, but please keep that leash tight if we see a bunny or squirrel—I go full action-hero mode. I’m mostly quiet, but when trucks go by? Yeah, I’m gonna have words. I can be a bit choosy with other dogs and do best with polite intros. I get along well with small to medium dogs, and I’ve got a soft spot for Goldens. A fenced yard would be amazing for my zoomies, but regular walks work too. Oh, and fun fact—I’m adorable. Like, ridiculously cute. Don’t take my word for it—come meet me and prepare to fall in love. Love, JuJu the 3-legged Wonder Pup. Located in Baltimore (Pikesville/Mt. Washington neighborhood). Please contact Sima at  sima.golden@yahoo.com.  ***Disclaimer*** Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms at the inn to admit every dog that needs a furever home. But, we still want to help those dogs (and cats) on their journey! By courtesy posting, AAHA is offering our website/network as an additional resource to help an owner or shelter gain additional exposure for the dog they are trying to place. AAHA has not met nor evaluated the dog (or cat) we are courtesy posting. AAHA makes no representation about courtesy posted pets including the health and temperament and accepts no liability in this exchange. Arrangements for adoptions are made between the caretaker of the pet and the potential adopter. December 16, 2025, 7:33 am
