Story
Hi, I’m Moose: part cuddle expert, part security system, 100% lover boy. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who thinks your personal space is our personal space—congrats, you found me. I’m a gentle, affectionate guy who lives to be near my people. Sitting, standing, walking to the fridge… doesn’t matter. I’ll be right there, proudly working my full-time job as your shadow.Don’t let my soft side fool you—I take my role as your protector seriously. I bond fast, love hard, and will keep a watchful (but very sweet) eye on you at all times.Around the house? Total gentleman. I’ve got excellent manners and a calm, easygoing vibe. I’m happiest just relaxing with my humans, so if your lifestyle includes cozy nights, chill days, and lots of together time, I’m your perfect match. Oh—and I don’t shed much, so you can keep your black clothes (you’re welcome). Now let’s talk snacks. Even when I’m excited (CHEESE!!!), I take treats very gently—because I am, in fact, a refined gentleman. My favorites include cheese (more cheese, please), yogurt, and chewing on crunchy ice cubes. My hobbies include:• Following you everywhere (yes, everywhere)• Cuddling like it’s my life’s purpose• Going on walks and keeping an eye on squirrels and bunnies• Hiding my bones like buried treasure• Coming immediately when you call my name (I’m that good)One more thing—I like having my people all to myself. I’m way too cool to share your attention, so I’m looking for a home where I can be your one and only pet. Trust me, I’ve got more than enough love to go around.I’m not just looking for a home—I’m looking for my person. And when I find you, I’ll be your most loyal, loving companion. So… what do you think? Got room on your couch (and in your heart) for me?Interested in adopting me? I am currently in a foster home so if you`d like to meet me, please complete an online adoption application and either send us an email at animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or give us a call at 410-833-8848 Ext 2 so we can coordinate a meet!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Cheryl (lovemy4eskies@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Casper has come back in to rescue after 12 years as his owner is no longer able to care for him.  He seems to like men more than woman however he does spend time with me but he prefers my boyfriend.  He loves to take walks and seems to do pretty good. He is house broke but may have some accidents in the beginning as he is getting used to things and if other dogs in the home and if you're gone too long.  He has a backyard to run around in and has not tried to get out but it's best to make sure your fence is secured if you are going to let him out there unattended.  He tries to play with my senior blind boy (who did not play when he could see) so he would do best I think in a home that has a dog he could play with however a meet and greet would be a good idea if possible.  He does pretty good with children over 10 but he is skittish so not sure how he would do with younger kids.  I am not sure he will ever get over being skittish so it might be best if he was in a quiet home with little chaos.   I also did a DNA test on him and he is as follows:        54% Australian Cattle Dog        42% American Eskimo Dog        2% Chihuahua        1% Border Collie        1% Pomeranian Casper is a special boy and I will be looking for the perfect home for him.  If your interested please email me at lovemy4eskies@gmail.com He is being fostered in Ridgley, MD.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!                                                       March 7, 2026, 6:43 pm

Buddy-American Cattle Dog/Australian Shepard male , ~ 5yr. (Nov . 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Buddy came to Rescue through a Dog Trainer and a Prison Program. The Trainer heard he was in need of rescue and brought him into the Program. He's been doing great there, learning housetraining, obedience and more. He's wonderful with the other dogs there. The Inmate trainer describes him as a happy, very sweet dog. He's a loyal friend, athletic and fun. Buddy is about 35# and could use a little more exercise. He's working on losing weight and training at the Prison. Buddy's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Story
Auburn is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix who has had a rough start to life. She came to us with two babies and a pellet in her leg where someone shot her, but through it all she has shown incredible resilience and sweetness. At 4 years old, Auburn is super sweet and treat-motivated, which makes her eager to learn and bond with people. She does need a warm-up period to feel safe, but once she trusts you, her loving nature shines. Auburn would do best in a home with another kind, gentle dog who can show her that the world is safe and full of love. She deserves a forever family who will spoil her, give her the patience she needs, and prove to her that she is worthy of the love we already know she is. Auburn is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter filled with trust, joy, and companionship. Auburn is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Frederick, MD on August 22nd with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost. If you would like to add this tenderhearted sweetie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heart worm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heart worm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* She is heart worm and Chagas negative.

Story
Meet Ember!! 3 months old and 16 pounds. Ember is the definition of sweet. She loves playing with other dogs and enjoys all the fun that puppy life has to offer, but her favorite thing is being close to her people. She’s often the first one to leave playtime behind and come snuggle up for some love and attention. Ember is wonderful with kids and other dogs. While we haven’t seen how she does with cats, she has been great around chickens. She’s crate trained and working hard on potty training, improving more every day. If you’re looking for a loyal cuddle buddy who will happily play outside and then curl up in your lap, Ember is ready to steal your heart.
