Rusty, Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats. He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball. Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained. Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

We are a litter of 8, and our rescue story had lots of surprises! What started as a call to save 4 puppies quickly turned into a full-on puppy treasure hunt. Surprise! There were even more of us hiding under a storage container… and our sweet mama too! With some yummy food and gentle coaxing, we were all scooped up and brought to safety together. Now we’re warm, cozy, and living the good life with soft blankets—and we’re ready to find our forever families! We are happy, silly puppies who love zoomies, climbing on everything, chewing all the toys, and wrestling like tiny champions. When we finally wear ourselves out, we turn into snuggle pros and happily crawl into a lap for a nap. If you’re looking for nonstop fun, endless puppy kisses, and the best snuggle buddy around, we might just be your perfect match! Meet Gretel (aka Liza Jean) This adorable little masked bandit will steal your heart and your blanket- and no she is NOT wearing a mask! That is her gorgeous coloring!! She's so full of love and energy in an adorable little package. Her foster mom says, "She's been an amazing playmate for our dog! She will play hard and love hard. She just seems to know when I need extra love- I have had some medical issues lately so TONS of cuddles from this wonderful pup. It's not a typical kind of cuddle, she has her OWN love language. The little darling will snuggle her head on me with her butt in the air- the whole cuddle session. When she's satisfied she's given enough love, she'll flop down asking for her OWN belly rubs. This kiddo can't get enough of em. She's gotten along with my dogs and with supervision she's learning to be ok with my cats. We're still working on the cats part. She just so so so wants to have her own family who will play with her, let her cuddle them and then give her the celebratory belly rubs. Not TOO much to ask for this very smart and very happy girl!" She’s a total lovebug who adores snuggling, being told she’s a good girl, meeting new people, and getting brushed like the princess she clearly believes she is. Mindy is housebroken and does wonderfully in her crate—quiet, calm, and accident-free. She knows sit, down, and come (most of the time!) and is eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved. When she’s not cuddling, she’s happily entertaining herself with toys or attempting to convince you that laying directly on your head is the ultimate form of affection.As a typical 9-month-old puppy, Mindy is still learning the ropes and will need continued training and exercise. She’s working on polite leash manners—she gets easily distracted by interesting smells, sounds, birds, and leaves that clearly must be chased. She may jump when excited and is learning “off” and “stay,” so a patient, consistent home will help her shine. Mindy would likely do well with another dog to help show her the way, but she’ll thrive just as much with humans who have the time and energy to keep her active, mentally engaged, and well-loved. She has not been around cats or children. He is house-trained, great with other dogs and cats, and does well with both men and women.(He has not lived with kids but would ideally live in a kid-free home or older kids home who knows to not to pull tails) Outside the home, he has no issues with strangers and enjoys being out and about. Russell loves bonding with his people, is very smart, and thrives on structure and routine. He has worked with both an obedience trainer and responds well to positive reinforcement. He is still working on managing stress when unfamiliar people enter his home, which is why a low-traffic household is important for his success. Russell would do best with an active individual or couple who can provide consistency, predictability, and a calm environment. Unfortunately, I am not the right long-term home for him due to frequent visitors related to caregiving responsibilities.
