Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there, I’m Beck! I just joined my fabulous foster family, and let me tell you—it’s a tail-wagging extravaganza! As a herding dog on a mission, my days are packed with all kinds of fun—herding balls, snuffle mats, and tug-of-war toys that make any pup’s tail wag! Every day brings a new adventure, especially when we hit the trails for walks where those sneaky squirrels are always dashing about, begging for my attention. But don’t worry—I’m a good girl who sticks close to my foster and keeps my paws in line! My foster says I’m a certified kiss machine and a lap-loving superstar! If you’re an active human looking for a furry best friend, look no further—I’m your gal, ready to shower you with all the puppy love! Take a look at this cute video of Beck playing with her foster family’s resident dog. She loves playing outside! Beck is from a local impound. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet LouLou, a sweet, gentle soul who’s looking for a patient and understanding home to help her feel truly safe. This young girl is affectionate and loves to snuggle once she feels secure, soaking up pets, belly rubs, and cozying up on the couch. LouLou is a bit shy at first, especially with new faces and men, but with gentle encouragement, she warms up and begins to show her playful side. Though she enjoys calm, laid-back dog buddies, LouLou prefers her own space around more excitable dogs. She’s still learning kennel time—she can be a bit of an escape artist and would do best with a secure setup or an alternative quiet space to retreat to. LouLou is also working on building confidence with car rides, as she can get nervous and would benefit from some practice to make her feel comfortable and secure. LouLou’s ideal home will be one that understands her gentle spirit but can also handle her big-dog enthusiasm—sometimes, in her excitement or nervousness, she can get a bit bouncy and could unintentionally knock over a person in her excitement. She’s house-trained, knows basic commands, and loves her daily walks. LouLou is a quick learner and enjoys showing off her tricks—she just needs someone patient who will help her continue to feel safe and loved as she adjusts. Check out this video of her showing off her tricks. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal, cuddle-loving friend who just needs a little extra support to shine, LouLou is eager to meet you and find her loving forever home! LouLou is from Texas. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Heidi is an adorable and playful puppy with a sweet nature, though she can be a bit timid when you first meet her. Once she warms up, her playful side shines through, and she’ll charm you with her bouncy energy and love for her toys. She has a habit of pouncing on her toys, and after a good play session, she’s happy to settle in for a cozy nap. Heidi is great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, so a home with another friendly dog would be a bonus. Like most puppies, she’ll need a bit of patience as she continues to learn and grow, but with time, love, and understanding, Heidi is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.  Heidi is looking for a forever home where she can feel safe and loved, and where her playful spirit will be welcomed with open arms! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. LizBeth is an absolute sweetheart who loves to follow you around and snuggle by your side. She can be shy at times but once she warms up to you, you will have a new best friend! She can be spunky and playful while also sweet and cuddly. She is house trained and gives cues when she needs to go outside. She loves to chill in the same room as you, look out the patio door, play with her bone or puzzle toys, and go on walks. She doesn’t require a lot of play time, just to go on a walk to sniff all the neighborhood news and be included in what you are doing. She is working on crate training. She gets anxious if she's in her kennel and you leave. When this happens, she can whine and bark. We have been working with her on trusting we will return. She has made great progress but for this reason she will do best in a home that does not have shared walls and where she will not be left alone for long periods of time.  She sleeps well in her kennel (or out of the kennel) as long as it's in the same room with you at night – she just wants to be near you and will settle in through the night. She is known to give kids kisses and is pretty good at meeting other dogs and people. She has not recently lived in a home with another dog but she had weekly playdates with her best fur-iends and enjoyed trips to the dog park. She may warn of a stranger at times, but then warms up to them. She has seen cats and is curious about them but has not lived with one. She will be a great companion to someone who isn't gone for long periods of time, who will take her on a walk, and who loves having a best friend to chill with.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Pepper.  Pepper has had a challenging past, and she is working through a deep fear of men. With patience, she's making strides—she’s begun warming up to my husband and even sniffed his hand on day 8! She is becoming more comfortable around him and no longer barks when he’s nearby, though she still responds cautiously. She’ll thrive in a home that can introduce her to new men gradually over a few weeks and would do best with minimal male visitors. Since new introductions set her back to “square one,” her ideal family would plan to keep her in familiar, calm environments rather than high-traffic areas like parks. Despite these sensitivities, Pepper is an absolute sweetheart! She loves being close and has a wonderfully affectionate side. While she’s still mastering some training basics, she’s incredibly smart and quick to learn. She kennels on command, prefers sleeping in her cozy kennel with blankets, and already knows “sit.” We’re making progress with her recall and name recognition—she’s learning “Pepper” quickly! She’s also working on other commands, like “lay down,” “stay,” and “wait,” and is improving each day. Pepper likes toys. While she'll happily shred any soft toy in sight, she's surprisingly gentle with her blankets, keeping them perfectly intact. Watching her run is a joy—she bounds and leaps like a graceful deer, always ready to chase after falling leaves. Her face is pure sweetness, and she has a stunning coat pattern to match. She’s working her way to a healthy weight; though she started closer to 55 pounds, she’s making steady progress toward her ideal 45-pound frame.
