Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Baxter is an incredibly sweet dog with a heart of gold. He’s gentle, friendly, and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Playtime is one of his favorite things—whether he’s romping around outside, chasing his buddies, or enjoying a one-on-one game, Baxter is always up for fun. He already knows his basic commands and is learning more every day. He thrives in a group of dogs but does just as well with a single companion. Baxter truly enjoys having another dog around, so he would do best in a home where he has a furry friend to keep him company. Affectionate and loyal, Baxter is looking for his forever family—one that will give him the love, companionship, and joyful life he deserves. He’s such a good boy, and anyone would be lucky to have him. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Mayer, MN Hello I am Harper! I am a fun-loving girl who loves all the cuddles. I get along very well with dogs and cats. I haven't been around kids. I love to play with my foster friends and toys. My foster mom says I am a goofy kid who has shiny object syndrome. I forget what I am doing. I sleep in my kennel at night. When I am tired during the day I will go to my kennel or crash out with my friends for a nap. I love being a lap dog. I will crawl into my foster mom's lap and snuggle in for some puppy dreams. I don't bark much. I look at everyone when they are barking trying to figure out what is going on. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Goliath is one of the most striking dogs we’ve ever met in person. His shiny coat, unique coloring, and those two mesmerizing blue eyes make him an absolute showstopper—and he gets nonstop compliments wherever he goes. But Goliath isn’t just a pretty face; he genuinely  lives  to be a good boy, please his humans, and do the right thing. He’s incredibly intelligent, highly tuned into people’s emotions and intentions, and picks up on routines and training remarkably quickly. With his smarts come both advantages and challenges: he is extremely trainable and eager to please, but he can also be a bit high-strung compared to other dogs his age. He has no naughty bone in his body, but without proper outlets for his energy and brainpower, he can become restless, showing behaviors like excessive licking, scratching, or whining. With consistent exercise, outdoor time, and a structured routine with clear boundaries, Goliath absolutely thrives. He doesn’t require any special medications or kenneling, and his previous nervous behaviors are completely resolved. That said, he does best in a home that offers both high levels of physical activity and mental engagement, along with consistent leadership and structure to help him feel calm and secure during downtime. Goliath is incredibly well-rounded and trustworthy. He does beautifully with people, other animals, and new situations. He kennels perfectly, rides well in the car, can be left home alone for extended periods, walks politely on leash (especially with a gentle leader), and is 100% potty trained. He knows basic commands—come, sit, down, stay—and listens reliably. Goliath is from an Owner Surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Hachi is a 3-year-old family guy born in March 2023. He is a Super-Shepherd mix of German Shepherd, and Australian Cattle Dog, with a good dose of Great Pyrenees for size and the special dew claw, and Boxer for personality. His Best Qualities: A Giant Lap Dog: Hachi is a major cuddler who loves to please his humans. He loves pets, giving kisses, and belly rubs. He will respect your space but will give you puppy eyes until you cave in! Pro-Kennel Skills: He is fully kennel trained and does perfectly fine while his people are away at work. Night-Night is his cue to park himself in his cosy kennel, without being asked twice! He is smart and easy to train. Knows where he is allowed and not allowed. Needs a yard and space to run and burn off energy. Can do well either at home or on a farm.
