Story
Dexter is a sweetheart and likes to cuddle but he doesn’t get along the best with our other animals. We have another dog and three cats and he gets along with the other dog for the most part unless a toy or treat is involved. He gets along well with the cats unless they encroach on his space or what he thinks is his space. He’d most likely do the best in a single pet home. He’s energetic and is scared of strangers at first (barks and walks up to them super cautiously) but warms up to them over time.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Loulou, the adorable sweetheart with a heart full of love to share! Loulou's journey began when she was discovered as a pregnant stray, seeking shelter under an old abandoned porch. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and brought into our care where she safely delivered her precious puppies. Loulou is a sweet young girl who adores affectionate pets and cuddles. Her favorite thing in the world is to snuggle up with her humans and soak in all the love they have to offer. While Loulou can be a bit anxious in new situations, especially around unfamiliar people, noises, and pets, she's been making great strides with slow introductions, time, and patience. Once she warms up to you, she transforms into a warm and loving companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin. She gets along famously with the resident dog in her foster home, as well as with young children. Loulou has been gradually building her confidence and is working hard to master essential commands like potty training, recall, and sitting on command. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Loulou and provide her with the understanding, patience, and love she needs to thrive, we'd love to hear from you. Let's give Loulou the happy ending she deserves! If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello! My name is Lunah (Italian for moon) and I am a playful pup looking for my forever home. I love to run my zoomies when I first wake up in the morning and then I sweep the perimeter to make sure my family is safe, then I settle in for a nice chill session on the floor near my favorite people. My foster Dad says that I look like a black and white fox wearing boots! I have super soft fur and they think I am still going to grow quite a bit because my ears are so big. I really like kids and will hop up on the couch to cuddle with them whenever I can. I am still learning about toys but I can see the appeal. As I am still little I am learning how to be the best dog I can be, but I am learning so much so fast and love to get treats as I learn.    Can I come spend forever chilling with you? Lunah is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
Location: Maple Grove, MN Tesla arrived to rescue terrified and pregnant. Unfortunately her puppies did not survive, but now she is loving all that life has to offer in her foster home. Once she learned what it felt like to snuggle with her humans on the couch, she quickly realized it's her favorite thing in the world, and she will leap from across the room when she sees her foster family sit down on the couch - ready for their love. Tesla loves her people, and wants nothing more than love and affection from her family. She is constantly trying to get hugs and snuggles from her foster family (canine and human), and it is so sweet. She lives with 2 kids, ages 8 and 13, and she is great with them and their friends. However, she is uncomfortable with little kids that do not respect her boundaries. (I.e. Toddlers that climb on dogs and put their face in hers is not going to be a fit.) But she does wonderful with kids that demonstrate appropriate dog behavior - letting her approach them, and giving her time to build trust with them. She loves going on walks, and playing with her toys. Her first year of life was spent tied up to the outside of a house, so it is a natural instinct to protect her people and herself. On walks, she can be a bit protective of her family, so it's important to continue leash training to control her reactions. She is extremely treat motivated, and does a wonderful job when we work with her on it! She is relaxed, with medium energy overall, sleeping most of the day while her foster family works. She is potty trained, and kennel trained. She is silent in her kennel overnight, but does have some opinions to express during the day when alone sometimes, so shared walls may not be the right fit for her. Tesla enjoys playing with other dogs as long as she is given slow introductions. Her foster home has 4 other dogs, and she does great with all of them, after a very slow introduction period. Tesla shows a lot of interest in small critters, so we recommend no cats in her forever home. If you are looking for a pet that loves her people fiercely, check out sweet Tesla. She will fill you up with all her love! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Vermillion, SD Hi! I'm really excited to meet you! Will you give me tummy scritches? I'm Laurel and I like to take long walks.... well... to anywhere. I also like to run too! Maybe we could be jogging buddies? I'm getting really good at this leash thing but squirrels look mighty fun to run after. I don't seem to be interested in chasing a ball or Frisbee though. I will, however, take whatever plushie chew toy you give me and be pretty happy! I seem to be pretty chill about other dogs once I get to know them but I will let you know if there are any shady ones walking by the house. I'm a pretty active gal, want to be my gym partner? ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Burbank, SD Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend! Hey, so am I and my name is Sushi! I'm just looking for adventure and my forever home. I have an outgoing personality and love people. My mom was rescued and I was born here at the foster home. I'm the littlest of my 13 brothers and sisters! Don't worry cause I can hold my own. My foster family likes to play tug of war, sneak me treats, play outside, and during TV time they cuddle me like a baby. They think I'm super cute when I wrestle my siblings cause I'm just a little peanut. I enjoy being outside and playing in the yard. The resident 11 year old kid is the best and she sneak me treats, lets me follow her around while she does her chores and play on the trampoline. There is also a resident cat but she thinks she is the queen and will not play with me but I respect her space. My perfect match would be someone who will be patient with me and teach me all the doggie things. When I'm not admiring your every move, I love to take naps. So, what do you say?
