Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Goliath is one of the most striking dogs we’ve ever met in person. His shiny coat, unique coloring, and those two mesmerizing blue eyes make him an absolute showstopper—and he gets nonstop compliments wherever he goes. But Goliath isn’t just a pretty face; he genuinely  lives  to be a good boy, please his humans, and do the right thing. He’s incredibly intelligent, highly tuned into people’s emotions and intentions, and picks up on routines and training remarkably quickly. With his smarts come both advantages and challenges: he is extremely trainable and eager to please, but he can also be a bit high-strung compared to other dogs his age. He has no naughty bone in his body, but without proper outlets for his energy and brainpower, he can become restless, showing behaviors like excessive licking, scratching, or whining. With consistent exercise, outdoor time, and a structured routine with clear boundaries, Goliath absolutely thrives. He doesn’t require any special medications or kenneling, and his previous nervous behaviors are completely resolved. That said, he does best in a home that offers both high levels of physical activity and mental engagement, along with consistent leadership and structure to help him feel calm and secure during downtime. Goliath is incredibly well-rounded and trustworthy. He does beautifully with people, other animals, and new situations. He kennels perfectly, rides well in the car, can be left home alone for extended periods, walks politely on leash (especially with a gentle leader), and is 100% potty trained. He knows basic commands—come, sit, down, stay—and listens reliably. Goliath is from an Owner Surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Kentucky, affectionately known as Tuck, is a sweet boy who had a rough start in life. Because of this, he can be timid with new people, but he’s learning every day that humans can be friends. Tuck truly shines when he has a doggy best friend by his side—being part of a “pack” helps him feel safe, secure, and confident as he navigates the world. Tuck loves being outdoors and would thrive with an active person or in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run, play, and explore. Getting enough exercise helps him stay relaxed and settled for the rest of the day. Another playful dog in the home would be a huge bonus, giving him a positive outlet for his energy and a built-in confidence booster. He also loves toys, which help him channel that energy in productive ways. Outside time is easily his favorite part of the day—if it were up to him, he’d never come back inside! On walks, he enjoys taking his time, stopping to sniff and explore everything around him. Tuck is curious about cats but not aggressive. Any feline friends should be dog-savvy, with introductions done slowly and thoughtfully. He would do best in a home with older children who can respect his boundaries and give him the space he needs to warm up; a home without young children would be ideal. Once Tuck feels comfortable, his affectionate side shines through. He loves curling up next to you or resting at your feet, always wanting to be close and included in whatever his pack is doing. With a patient, active home and plenty of love, Tuck is ready to truly thrive—and to give that love right back.  Kentucky is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Baxter is an incredibly sweet dog with a heart of gold. He’s gentle, friendly, and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Playtime is one of his favorite things—whether he’s romping around outside, chasing his buddies, or enjoying a one-on-one game, Baxter is always up for fun. He already knows his basic commands and is learning more every day. He thrives in a group of dogs but does just as well with a single companion. Baxter truly enjoys having another dog around, so he would do best in a home where he has a furry friend to keep him company. Affectionate and loyal, Baxter is looking for his forever family—one that will give him the love, companionship, and joyful life he deserves. He’s such a good boy, and anyone would be lucky to have him. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
